Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 277: The Suspicion {Gift Bonus Chapter}

Sometimes, you just have to lighten the mood to create some space of calm, regardless of the chaos one is in.

Kent chose to break the tension and let the Gate Master recover her emotions first before logical thinking came into play.

’But the fact that she chose to be a dancer really is something,’ Kent said inwardly, subtly picturing the body of the Gate Master dancing and shaking her bum.

’On the other hand, I could pay a fortune to watch her dance,’ Kent smiled.

But he had to give it to the Gate Master. For someone who chose to be a dancer to go from dancing to taking up the sword and becoming a sword sage, it could only take a genius.

Some are naturally born to wield the sword. An example of such people is Jest, Kent’s past self. He was born to wield the sword, so when he picked it up, it was like he was in his element.

Then, from how she described her sister, Kent could tell she was also a natural-born swordsman. So, for her to go from a dancer to a swordsman could mean she was hardworking and equally talented.

If only he knew she was someone known as the sword dancer, for when she fought, it was like she was dancing. A mesmerizing sight.

’She is a genius, no doubt. But I wonder if she will drop the sword when her sister is saved,’ Kent said to himself and sighed.

The Gate Master took close to an hour to return to her normal self before they resumed their conversation.

”You said you have suspicions. Would you care to share?” Kent asked.

”Before you arrived in the sect, I suspected the sect master was behind this. But after a recent action he took, I don’t suspect him anymore—I know he is the one,” the Gate Master said, making Kent raise an eyebrow.

”The sect master? How does my presence have anything to do with this?” Kent asked.

”I am sure whatever happened to big sister will happen to you, too. You said there is an evil presence blocking you from sensing where she is at.

If that were the case, it would only mean that the sect master is an evil practitioner.

The presence of evil is probably coming from him. So, this means he only goes after a unique set of people.

Big sister was a genius like no other. The disciple of the Spear Gate Master was also the same, and now, you have arrived.

He has already shown signs of wanting to come after you, and that is why we managed to come to this conclusion.”

”I see. So you and the Spear Gate Master, who is hiding behind the door, are a team in this,” Kent said, smiling as he looked toward a certain door to his left.

A few seconds later, it opened, and the gorgeous Gate Master walked forward, smiling.

”Your senses are rather sharp,” she said, making Kent smile.

”You can never know who wants to cause harm,” he replied before turning to Gate Master Mara, who was looking at him with questioning eyes.

”I don’t know if her disciple is alive or dead, but since Nara is alive, then I can presume she is also alive. All the same, we will find out soon anyway.” The two Gate Masters, now sitting side by side, nodded.

”Now, I don’t know about you two gorgeous ladies, but I don’t like the sound of having an evil practitioner as a sect master, so let’s talk plans. Who gets to drive their sword through his heart?” Kent asked, making the ladies frown.

”What?” Kent asked again.

”You do know the Sect Master is a Root Ascension stage expert, someone a hundred of us cannot even last ten minutes against.

And if that is not worse, know that he is a mage capable of casting Tier 10 spell circles,” Gate Master Mara said with an expression full of concern. Kent, however, just laughed.

”You don’t get my question, ladies. I am not planning on going toe-to-toe with him. Nah, I am not that stupid. I am still young and full of energy to spend on my ladies; I wouldn’t waste that.”

Kent smiled, making the ladies look at him weirdly.

”You’ve heard this saying before, haven’t you? ’Even gods can be killed if you have prep time.’ Well, the Sect Master can also be killed if we have prep time, and let me tell you, ladies, we have more than enough prep time, so he will die.

Now, what I want to know is which of the three of us will get to stab him through the heart when he is down.”

Kent’s question was like he had figured everything out already. In truth, he wasn’t scared one bit.

How could someone who has a tower, a cosmic weaver, and a soul weaver on his team be scared of a single human? Nah, Kent had more important things to worry about.

The ladies, who heard his way of expressing his questions, looked at him with an expression that Kent could only smile at.

”Just forget about it. For now, I want you ladies to relax and wait for when I have something new. And don’t worry, it won’t take too much time.

The more time I waste, the longer Nara continues to suffer,” Kent said as he stood up and began walking out of the room. However, after a couple of steps, he turned back, and with a smile, he asked,

”The massage offer still stands, Gate Master Mara. I wouldn’t charge a dime, so just let me know when I should come.” After saying that, he vanished.

The two Gate Masters stared at where he had stood and then at each other, both sighing.

”Just who is this kid?” Gate Master Camilla asked.

They could only wonder in silence, not knowing what to think. Kent is like that person who appears, and instead of getting to know him, you start asking all kinds of questions that cannot be answered.

He is a mystery, and now, the ladies, whom he had brought some hopeful news, started making plans for when he would return.

The first quest was completed, and he was given the second.
