Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 262: Kent vs Sword Saintess Val (2)

It was as if not being taken seriously was not something Kent wanted.

He clearly hated that, considering just watching the Saintess behave like she wasn’t putting in much effort pissed him off, so Kent chose to add some heat to the battle.

He blinked away and held his sword sheath with his left hand while his right hand gripped the hilt.

Suddenly, a light flashed, and 36 deadly sharp strings appeared in the air.

The Saintess, who had been using the flying swords, suddenly felt the danger, so she tapped into her sword qi and executed her attack.

She saw that playing around would land her in hot waters.

The strings clashed, sending shockwaves here and there. The attack wasn’t that strong per standards, but it was enough to take care of a Grandmaster.

This was Kent’s way of saying, you better woman up and face me like a lady...

”Again,” Kent unleashed the attack once more, sending 36 strings, this time using both sword qi and intent. However, she defended like the first one.

But the attack became deadlier, shocking the Saintess, who recognized the energy she had just defended against.

”Again,” Kent shouted, this time making it 48 strings. The Saintess used all three flying swords and her handheld sword to defend, pushing her back slightly.

”You might want to put in the effort, else you will lose—and lose bitterly too,” Kent said.

He blinked away, and the next time he appeared, his sword was out of the sheath, causing the energy around him to surge. The sword sheath vanished into his soul sea.

Lightning danced around the sword and his arms.

The Sword Saintess also unleashed her profound intent and qi when she felt how powerful Kent had become after drawing his sword.

Kent moved, becoming a blur. All that could be seen was a streak of lightning moving around the battleground. The blades clashed, and Kent and the Saintess finally began to exert their strength in close combat.

The clash of steel echoed like thunder, each strike sending ripples of energy that tore through the air.

Kent’s movements were precise, his blade a flash of lightning that seemed to cut through space itself.

The Saintess, though initially caught off guard, matched his ferocity, her sword qi swirling around her like a storm.

Her three flying swords darted around her, weaving a deadly dance as they intercepted Kent’s relentless attacks.

The disciples watching were all taken aback by how ferocious the battle had become. They all expected Kent to lose in under a minute. But the flashing and blade clashes echoing in the arena just don’t feel like he was losing at all.

On the contrary, he matched the saintess and even made it so she couldn’t do anything to him as she had hoped.

He has undistributed points, after all...

Kent was pushed back, causing him to exhale, but the next second, he was upon the Saintess.

He dashed forward, his sword slicing horizontally in a wide arc. The Saintess blocked, but the force of the blow sent her skidding back, her feet carving grooves into the ground.

Kent was running while teleporting at the same time. So, the attacks coming from the flying swords are just attacking his afterimage.

His body flickered, and he reappeared above her, bringing his sword down in a vertical slash. The Saintess raised her blade, the impact resonating like a gong.

The ground beneath her cracked, but she held firm, her expression unreadable.

Suddenly, her three flying swords shot toward Kent from different angles, forcing him to retreat.

He twisted mid-air, deflecting two of the swords with quick, precise strikes, but the third grazed his arm, drawing a thin line of blood.

Kent smirked, glancing at the wound before locking eyes with the Saintess. Your adventure continues at

Of course, the disciples who saw this all cheered, believing the first cut was the step to trashing him.

”I was careless there,” Kent muttered loud enough for the saints to hear.

However, she didn’t respond.

Instead, she raised her hand, and the flying swords returned to her side, orbiting her like loyal guardians.

She held a calm expression on her face, but inwardly, she was shocked that Kent was still standing.

Her sword qi intensified, the air around her shimmering with power.

She stepped forward with calculated and calm steps and swung her blade. A wave of qi erupted from the strike, racing toward Kent with terrifying speed.

Kent didn’t dodge. He met the attack head-on, his sword cutting through the wave and dispersing it into harmless sparks.

But the Saintess was already on the move, instantly closing the distance between them.

Their blades met again, metal clashing and filling the air as they exchanged a flurry of strikes. Each movement was calculated, and each strike aimed to exploit an opening.

Inside the VIP room, Saintess Mara held a calm expression, but inwardly, she was shocked by how Kent was handling the battle. It was like he was matched with the Saintess.

Suddenly, her eyes widened when Kent unleashed an attack after breaking the close combat. From what he had observed, the Saintess was good at the close combat.

So when Kent broke away, she knew he also saw that and decided to change the battle style.

But the close combat helped him add 5000 points to all the right places.

Now, he was much faster than before, but the Saintess was no pushover. So, the strategy changed, and this strategy was what he was going to use against the clone.

”Rapid Slash,” Kent unleashed the attack, sending 100 sword arcs flying at the Saintess, who was forced to move back and distance herself from Kent.

”Don’t run, I am just getting started,” Kent said with a smirk.

He unleashed another, filling the air with 100 Sword arcs, each speeding toward the saintess, who did a 360 swing, sending a gust of wind flying at Kent.

Then she moved through the chaos that appeared behind Kent. She stabbed forward, but before it could land on him, Kent vanished and appeared a couple of meters away.

”Rapid Slash.” This time, 200 sword arcs appeared, causing everyone to widen their eyes. The air was filled with beautiful golden arcs.

But instead of admiring their beauty, they were now aiming to claim the Saintess’ life. Even a blind man could see that.

The golden arcs are, without a doubt, beautiful to the eye, but they are deadly to anyone. One cannot admire them simply because they are not meant to be admired.

She started to see her shortcomings. But she must first break even, considering Kent wasn’t stopping his attacks.

He was using the chances he had to unleash a flurry of attacks on the Saintess, making it so she couldn’t get close.

Suddenly, the energy around the Saintess also changed, causing Kent to move back. The intent around her now was much more powerful, causing him to take a cold breath.

’And so it began...the attacks that will determine who wins.’ Kent knew she was about to make her move, so he was prepared for it.

The Saintess defended against the sword arcs, and she pointed forward. The three swords moved.
