Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 181: He is a Monster (2)

A disciple was sent flying out of the arena, landing on the ground with a heavy thud.

He was the 67th disciple Kent had sent flying, and he wouldn’t be the last. Shockingly, it had been less than two hours since the start of the battle, yet more than half had already lost and were being tended to.

Kent was, in a way, disappointed.

He came out of the Tower with expectations, but things wouldn’t get any better from what he was sensing. Of course, he knew they were saving the best for last.

But even a blind man could tell that it wouldn’t amount to anything, no matter the surprise they were planning. Kent was just too powerful and talented to have Sword Grandmasters as his opponents.

”He is a monster,” a disciple in the audience said. And he wasn’t the only one thinking the same thing. Even the Sect Elders had the same thoughts. It was as if Kent had shattered their expectations.

”You know, when I heard the disciple of Saintess Selene had challenged the entire inner section of the sect, I thought maybe he had a few screws loose. But damn, this handsome guy is very powerful,” a lady disciple everyone knew as Loudmouth said.

Nobody said anything against her words, knowing she was telling the truth. Nobody had expected Kent to be this monstrous. In fact, nobody had even expected him to last a single match.

But as it stood, he was on track to becoming the first person to win the Trial of the Sword.

”At this point, would anyone even be able to contend against him? None of them lasted even five minutes, and aside from the technique he used in the third match, he hasn’t used any others,” a disciple said, shaking his head. ”This trial is as good as won at this point.”

While everyone was engaged in their discussions, the 68th person was sent flying in under 60 seconds. Kent wasn’t tired or anything...

The only skill he was using was [Blink].

At the moment, he was simply invincible. His opponents tried their most powerful techniques on him, but none even managed to scratch him. It was as if he had transcended the realm of common sense.

Just when their attacks were mere inches from his body, he would vanish and reappear behind them.

Many of them tried to use this pattern to their advantage, but after repeated failures, they stopped and accepted that they would not win.

Forty minutes later, 90 disciples had been sent flying. By this point, Kent had become a celebrity, with everyone forgetting his earlier arrogant remarks. However, they still hated him for the image he had now taken on.

The two lolis, who were surprisingly good with their words, elevated his image even further. They were singing Kent’s praises like the most loyal fans would.

”Akira, I think at this point Master should just sit down and let the rest attack him for an hour... They strike like babies,” Gaia said with a mocking expression.

”I know, right? The last time we sparred with Master, we were even able to push him back 30 meters... I say Master should just take a nap and wake up five hours later; they wouldn’t even be able to draw a drop of blood,” Akira said, firing back, making people want to strangle them.

”Master’s Master, don’t you think Master is awesome?” Akira turned to Saintess Selene, who was very happy at the moment. Her disciple was making her proud.

”Your master who is my disciple is indeed awesome. I am afraid I will soon become his disciple...” Saintess Selene said those words, looking at Saintess Neomi while casting a subtle glance at the Gate Master.

For some reason, the two ladies understood what she meant. One was amused and even blushed slightly, while the other gritted her teeth and looked at the strongest of her disciples.

”Zhen, go and handle that brat.”

Zhen, a short, dark-haired beauty with cute, big eyes and pale skin, stood up holding two swords. She is a level 7 Root Saint and has both Sword Intent and Sword Aura.

Among the five disciples of the Gate Master, she is the strongest. She is also one of the many beauties in the sect and the entire Althea Kingdom.

Naturally, she had been yearning to fight, as they all had, so when she got the chance, she immediately took it. Using her sword, she floated in the air and landed inside the arena, making everyone go wild.

Even Kent was impressed by her entrance.

Of course, he scanned her and was surprised to see she had mastered both Sword Intent and Sword Qi to the Enhanced stage and was already halfway to the Profound Sword Qi and Intent stage.

”You are Kent, right? You can call me Zhen, and remember my name when you’re tossed on the street after getting crippled,” Zhen said.

Her Sword Aura and Intent burst out as soon as she finished, filling the arena with its sharpness.

Kent raised an eyebrow when he sensed his clothes being cut as more and more of her aura began filling the arena.

Naturally, he didn’t wear any of the clothes Vexthra made for him; he was just in something casual he bought back in Caprath City. If he wore anything from Vexthra, not even a cut would have appeared on the fabric.

But he wasn’t worried.

He just looked at the Gate Master and winked at her before speaking.

”It will be best if you handle her with care after this match; her Dao heart may be affected.” The moment the Gate Master heard those words, her heartbeat froze. She wanted to say something, but Kent didn’t allow her.

He took a step forward, and his Sword Intent exploded out.

He took another step, and his Sword Qi also exploded. By the time he took the third step, Zhen’s presence was erased from the arena.

Kent didn’t hold back this time and went for the kill.

His Sword Qi formed into countless razor-sharp air blades, cutting her into many pieces. It all happened instantly.

Before anyone could witness it, it was over.

Zhen respawned outside the arena and immediately passed out. The Gate Master appeared beside her disciple but was already gone when she arrived.

Kent didn’t even spare them a glance. His aura and intent were still active, so he turned to those yet to face him.

”Those who want to win, just step into the arena. If you manage to last for 3 seconds, I will make it your win.”

His words were arrogant, but they presented an opportunity. The young swordsman, named Max, moved, and the next second, he stepped into the arena. However, a moment later, he was outside and passed out.

Nobody, aside from a few elders, the Saintesses, and the Gate Master with a few core disciples, knew what had happened. Of course, the opponent knew as well, but they couldn’t even explain how it occurred.

Another disciple, one of the Gate Master’s disciples, jumped in, but he met the same fate. When the third person fell into Kent’s trap, the Gate Master finally had enough.

”Everyone stop. This trial is over, and the winner is Kent Madson. From now on, he should be recognized as an inner disciple of this sect and the official disciple of the Sword Saintess.”

After saying that, she took her two disciples away, but she used a method to transmit a few words to Kent...

’I will see you later, brat... this is not over.’
