Global Catastrophe: I, Mecha God, Can't Hide From The World

Chapter 184: New forces under the apocalypse”Zhang Qi, you can’t kill him in this situation, and he’s no longer in Yicheng! Didn’t you hear the news? This guy has already gone to the Iron Tower Fortress!”

”News? Iron Tower Fortress? What the hell? The news is still in this state and it hasn’t ended yet?” Zhang Qi said in disbelief.

Tong Wuyan curled his lips, looked at Zhang Qi with a rustic look and said, ”...I have a radio, so of course I can hear this. The Iron Tower Fortress is a city of force re-established by human beings for self-protection. This Protective walls are built around the city and are equipped with various firepower. The city is even more heavily defended. The armored warrior you just saw is the man from the Iron Tower Fortress. People call them ’power warriors’. They are a group of people. This is a very mature technology, and 80% of the iron tower fortress has been assembled on a large scale, so do you still think you can get revenge?”

After listening to Tong Wuyan’s words, Zhang Qi looked dejected. Damn bald Zhang, he had already gone to that place. At this moment, Zhang Qi realized how superficial his previous behavior was. He thought with just his anger. Revenge is simply ridiculously childish.

”No! I don’t have that ability!” Zhang Qi seemed to have aged a lot in an instant. He slumped on the ground and stared at his hands. He wanted to cry, but he couldn’t. His tear glands had already dried up when he turned into a zombie. .

”Hey, little brother, don’t be so pessimistic. One day, you will get revenge, but you have to think long term. You have to be prepared for a long-term struggle!” Tong Wuyan saw Zhang Qi’s sadness. A person who lives up to his standards and never forgets to seek justice for his parents is definitely a person who can be trusted.

Tong Wuyan felt that only with such a trustworthy person could he safely show everything about the base in front of him, and the secrets of his base must not be missed at all.

If Zhang Qi had not gained Tong Wuyan’s trust, then it would be obvious that the great Dr. Deng would kill him without hesitation after using Zhang Qi.

”That’s right!! You are a leader in the scientific community. You must be able to help me, right?” Zhang Qi seemed to have realized something when he heard Tong Wuyan’s words, and his face was filled with excitement.

”Ahem... Well, of course I can help you, but you have to help me get out of this hellish place first, otherwise I won’t be able to help you!” Tong Wuyan spread his hands, and his meaning was obvious. Just have to help each other.

”Deal, I’ll help you return to your research base, and you have to help me get revenge!” Zhang Qi said without hesitation.

…………………………

In a moment, Zhang Qi and Tong Wuyan were already sitting in a broken car...

”Doctor, is this the awesome car you mentioned??” The car was speeding on the road. At this moment, Zhang Qi, who was sitting in the passenger seat, was facing the cold wind in the middle of the night, and his heart almost collapsed.

”Yes, that’s right!”

”Then why, your awesome car doesn’t even have a door??”

”Fuck, you ask me, who the hell am I going to ask?? It was fine when I drove here.”

”Doctor, since your research base is not in the city, then why do you come all the way here?”

”Do you know Magic Biotechnology Company? I have worked there before, and the purpose of coming out this time is to get some information.” Obviously, Dr. Deng was able to drive his car safely on the road at this moment, which made him very happy. . Finally escaping from the devil’s cave where he had been trapped for two days and waiting to die, he didn’t mind telling a few more secrets.

”What is that Sky Gray Legion you mentioned before?” Zhang Qi finally asked unable to hold back.

”Hey, I knew you were going to ask me! The Sky Gray Army is not a real army, it is actually the private force of Magic Biotechnology!” Tong Wuyan laughed strangely, as if nothing in Zhang Qi’s heart could escape him. His control is average.

”Then, the Sky Gray Legion doesn’t have to help the zombies kill humans, right? Before, I saw them opening fire on the super warrior you mentioned.”

”Hmph, do you think magical biotechnology is a good product? Let me tell you, the Sky Gray Army is basically composed of a group of zombies, but you didn’t see it clearly. They were all created by magical creatures. They were created a long time ago. It already exists, it’s just that you civilians are kept in the dark.”

”What?? Such a thing could happen??” Zhang Qi was completely shocked this time. An army composed of zombies... what should that look like? No wonder those guys in black military uniforms opened fire on the power warriors.

”Hmph, what’s so strange about this? This zombie outbreak is definitely related to magical creatures. Only this evil company in the Red Star Empire has the ability to research zombie viruses.”

”But why are they studying this virus? Is it just to destroy the Red Star Empire? What good does this do to them?” Zhang Qi felt that he was getting more and more confused.

”Hey, this is a good question. Do you know about energy stones?” Tong Wuyan said with rare praise.

”Um, I don’t know...what is that?”

”Energy stone is an extraterrestrial object. It was first discovered more than 10 years ago. It is a very magical stone. People found that the energy it emits can quickly restore cell activity, thereby delaying the aging of carbon-based organisms. Or death, which means that humans may achieve immortality, so humans have launched a series of studies on it. This plan is called the ’Titan Project’, but energy stones also have flaws, mainly because they are too rare. It is simply impossible to achieve large-scale supply. This problem is what Magic Biotechnology Company wants to solve. They believe that the virus with the strongest replication and regeneration ability in the world may be the solution. They call this project ’Titan X’. As for what happened next, I don’t know much about it because I left the company.”

……………………

At this moment, Zhang Qicai deeply realized what the sorrow of a small person was. If he hadn’t happened to meet the powerful Tong Wuyan, he probably would never have known that there were so many things going on in his life.

Innocent civilians became victims of the interests of senior officials, and they did not even know why they died.

But the world has been turned into hell by these inhumane guys, but they are still living well, which makes Zhang Qi very aggrieved.

”Doctor, do you think that after people become zombies, will they still retain their original thinking?” Zhang Qi asked cautiously.

Tong Wuyan narrowed his eyes and stared at Zhang Qi as he walked all over his body, as if he wanted to see something. ”Maybe!” Tong Wuyan said lightly.

Zhang Qi nodded lightly. There was always a vague feeling in his heart. Zombies like himself who retained their thoughts were definitely not a special case that appeared by chance.

Zhang Qi originally thought that after knowing this, he would know the whole story clearly, but now...it obviously makes him more confused.

”What is Project Titan?”

”Magic Biotechnology openly sent zombies to attack the power warriors. What are their intentions?”

”Are there any zombies with the same thoughts as myself?”

Zhang Qi could only solve these problems slowly.
