Global Catastrophe: I, Mecha God, Can't Hide From The World

Chapter 158 Lin Wei and the 11th Division TeamThe battle lasted for nearly an hour. If the bomb had not temporarily forced the alien beasts back, the entire team would have been killed by the alien beasts without even a chance to breathe.

The captain of the 11th Division team frowned deeply as he looked at the three or four grenades and five magazines in front of him, plus dozens of scattered bullets.

”call……”

The captain squinted and took a deep breath, then glanced at the six boys squatting in front of him. They were all just a group of kids in their twenties.

As the only person in the team who is in his thirties and has rich combat experience, the captain knows very well that unless a miracle happens today, the hope of their survival today is very slim, and it can even be said to be almost non-existent.

”Little bastards, I’m afraid today is the time for us to sacrifice our lives for our country!”

The captain’s heart was full of misery. If he had any other choice, he would never let these young children die with him. The invasion of alien beasts had caused too many losses to the Xia Kingdom. Many people like him had already suffered. Such a young man in his twenties gave his life.

If that man hadn’t used his talents to create those steel mechas just before that, and those iron men helped Xia Guo bear most of the pressure, I’m afraid Xia Guo would really have no hope at all.

”Are you afraid of death?”

The captain stared at the soldiers in front of him, with an unprecedented cold expression on his face.

”Captain, we are not afraid of death!!”

”For the motherland, there is nothing to be afraid of!”

The faces of the young warriors were full of fortitude and determination to sacrifice, and their eyes were full of determination. As long as they could destroy the alien beasts, death was no big deal.

It’s just a pity that the tasks assigned above may not be completed.

”Okay! Good boy! I saw you right.”

The captain quickly counted all the weapons and ammunition and prepared for a final desperate fight.

”Since the hope of completing the mission is slim, my task now is to try my best to create a chance for these young men in their twenties to survive.”

The captain made up his mind, so he hung all four grenades on himself, then picked up a magazine from the ground and inserted it into his waist. The remaining four magazines and scattered The bullets were evenly distributed among the remaining people.

”That’s not right, Captain!”

The six soldiers looked at each other at the scattered bullets in their hands, with slightly dissatisfied looks on their faces.

”That’s right, Captain, why are you only thinking about yourself? We also want to have a good time before we die. Why do you take so much by yourself?”

Obviously, several soldiers were not aware of their captain’s plan at the moment, and they were only unhappy with the captain’s behavior of taking more.

”Shut up! Later, I will provide fire suppression. Your task is to find the right moment and retreat toward the southeast!”

The captain said righteously.

”How can that be done? I must be responsible for the fire suppression! My shooting is the best in the entire division!”

”It doesn’t matter if I’m good at shooting. I can throw grenades farthest and most accurately. Of course, I should be responsible for the suppression of fire!”

”...”

Hearing the captain’s words, a group of soldiers immediately stopped working. They all understood in their hearts that what sounded like providing fire suppression was actually just staying behind to cut off the rear. The person who cut off the rear would sacrifice his own death in exchange for the survival of other team members.

Moreover, ordinary bullets can hardly hurt those strange beasts. This result has been verified countless times by them. Only grenades can cause a certain amount of damage. In other words, the real situation is that whoever holds the grenade will Just have to stay.

”Shut up!! Give me the fuck...”

”Ouch!!!”

Before the captain could finish speaking, several people heard the crazy roar of the alien beasts. The captain turned around and lay down in the tattered ruins, with a fierce light flowing from his eyes, ”You are all ready to fight! !”

Without the captain’s order, several soldiers had already raised their guns.

”Da da da……”

The sound of firearms sounded a bit messy, because there were not many bullets, and everyone had given up the previous behavior of casually squandering ammunition and adopted burst shooting.

All the bullets are aimed at the eyes and belly of the alien beasts. These two parts are their only weaknesses, but they still cannot harvest the heads of the alien beasts instantly. They can only bring some negative effects to them. .

”boom!!”

Seeing that the alien beast was about to charge forward, the captain threw a grenade violently, and the violent explosion turned the alien beast at the front into a pile of meat.

”Why don’t you leave quickly??”

After the captain threw one grenade, he pulled out another grenade and held it in his hand, ready to detonate it at any time. When he saw several soldiers still holding guns and firing, he roared with anger in his chest.

”team leader!!!”

Several soldiers had a look of determination on their faces, and if they were to abandon their team members, even if they survived today, they would live with the guilt of today’s conscience in the next few years and decades.

Even though they knew in their hearts that the captain’s decision was right in this situation, they still could not face the sense of responsibility in their hearts. Some team members had even installed bayonets on their gun butts and were ready for hand-to-hand combat at any time.

Fighting with alien beasts?

The captain was shocked and angry when he saw the stupid behavior of several soldiers, ”Get the hell out of here!! This is an order!!”

”boom!!!”

Another grenade was thrown out, and the flames rose into the sky, once again slowing down the pace of the alien beasts’ attack. However, compared to the number of alien beasts, the grenade’s killing effect was still insignificant.

Several soldiers looked at the captain who was almost going crazy, and then they hurriedly left the ruins bunker and retreated towards the rear. When the captain saw several team members running away, his heart dropped.

”kill!!!”

A strong wave of hot blood rolled in the captain’s chest, and he threw the grenade again. The captain stood up from the ruins, holding the gun in his hand and shooting wildly.

”Da da da... da da da...”

Each shot was a very regular triple burst. Although the bullets could not kill the alien beasts, they could still cause the alien beasts to feel pain. The gun in the captain’s hand seemed to have eyes, specifically targeting those alien beasts at the forefront.

”Kaka...kaka...”

Suddenly, the gun in the captain’s hand made a hollow sound.

”Fuck!! It seems that my time is over!”

From a distance, the captain looked at the figures running further and further away, a smile appeared on his face, and he held the last grenade in his hand.

”At least I let them come down!!”

”Giving up so soon??”

Suddenly, a cold female voice sounded next to the captain’s ear, and he suddenly discovered that at some point, a woman in black robes was standing on the ruins of a building nearby.
