Global Catastrophe: I, Mecha God, Can't Hide From The World

Chapter 154: West of Southern Capital City”Commander, we don’t have much supplies!”

A staff officer walked into the command room and reported in a worried voice to an officer who was watching the surveillance camera motionless.

As a staff officer, he must report the details of the entire unit to the top commander of the army at all times.

”Officer Chang, when will the assistance from above arrive?”

The commander turned his head, his face covered with ravines was full of traces of war. However, the commander’s heart at this moment was not as calm as it looked on his face.

The 11th Division has been stationed in Nandu City for several months. From the beginning of the alien beast attack, they were ordered to defend Nandu City. Originally, the 11th Division could rely on a large amount of supplies and personnel from the rear to hold on.

But there were too many alien beasts, and due to the fall of the flanking cities of Nandu City, the alien beasts directly bypassed Nandu City and entered the further west city of Yicheng. The supply line of the 11th Division of Nandu City was cut off by the alien beasts.

The convoys transporting supplies will pay a heavy price every time they pass through the alien beast blockade in Yicheng.

This puts the 11th Division, which was already in the midst of a difficult resistance, into an even more difficult predicament. Although the commander understands the tremendous pressure that the comrades delivering supplies are under now, if the 11th Division no longer has any supplies, then his 11th Division The combat effectiveness of all soldiers will be greatly reduced.

The supply convoy that was supposed to arrive long ago is already five days late. I’m afraid the situation is not good!

After the 11th Division encountered difficulties, the supplies sent from the rear became less and less day by day, and the personnel could not be replenished. The original size of the division was due to the attrition of successive battles, and now there are only less than two regiments left.

Under the commander’s order, the 11th Division had to abandon the eastern half of the southern capital city and retreat to the west, and they also protected a large number of citizens who originally belonged to the eastern half of the city.

The combatants could not be replenished, the supplies were getting less and less, and the alien beasts were attacking almost all the time. The 11th Division was in dire straits.

Under the constant attack of the alien beasts, with less than two regiments of troops, it is already somewhat insufficient to even consolidate the defense line in the western half of the city. If it were not for the TD-1 integrated mecha reinforcement battalion sent from above, , the 11th Division has long since lost its way out.

”Retreat. If you don’t leave, the 11th Division may really face the end of the entire army being annihilated and the unit designation cancelled!”

The staff officer was a little sad, but his duty was to assist the commander in making the most correct judgment. Retreating was the best choice at the moment.

”no!!”

There was a cold light in the eyes of the commander whose face was covered with scars. The 11th Division received an order to protect Nandu City. The soldiers of Xia Kingdom must not retreat before receiving the retreat order from their superiors.

The commander knew very well that if people like him left, the existing people in the entire southern capital city would directly face the hunting of alien beasts, which was a herd of more than 200,000 alien beasts.

In less than a day, all the citizens of Nandu City will be dead!

Therefore, the 11th Division must not retreat! Even if you fight until no one is left and your unit number is cancelled, it won’t work!

These are the consensus reached by this army from top to bottom!

”Chang Ming, if you dare to mention retreat again, I promise to send you to a military court!!”

The commander looked coldly at his own think tank. He would never allow anyone to say anything that could shake the morale of the army at this time.

Staff officer Chang Ming was shocked. He did not expect that the commander’s belief would be so firm that he would even risk the lives of the entire division to protect the people who were in dire straits.

”Commander, then I can only suggest reducing the defense line again, using the mecha reinforcement battalion and the existing firepower we have. It is still possible to hold on for a while!”

The staff officer made a pertinent suggestion! Shrinking the defensive front and allowing the overall firepower to be more concentrated, although this is not the best way,

”No! We have reduced the defense line many times. Although shrinking the defense line seems to be beneficial to our army, it is not conducive to the safety of the citizens...”

The commander’s tone became slightly relaxed, although he knew very well that in such a desperate situation, it was very beneficial to listen to the advice of the staff officer.

But the people’s army considers the people first!

If the defense line shrinks, it will inevitably mean that some people are excluded from the protection circle. This is not something that a military manager does not want to see.

The 11th Division must hold on!

Moreover, the commander believed that the people above him should be more anxious than himself now, and they must be actively thinking of ways to solve the problem of the 11th Division in Nandu City. The results must be out soon.

When the staff officer saw that the coach rejected both of his opinions, he could only keep his mouth shut. He could not think of any more effective way.

”Hasn’t there been any news from the team sent out to search?”

The commander asked sadly. Before that, through the investigation of the soldiers, they discovered the existence of Chen Ping, and his weird mechas once made the entire 11th Division think that Chen Ping was sent to help from above. Their.

But obviously, they were wrong!

Chen Ping didn’t seem to have any intention of helping them. Instead, he focused on dealing with the strange beasts. Then, many strange people came to fight with Chen Ping, causing the entire Nandu City to be in an uproar. Now, in Not only the army, but also the civilians in the western half of the city knew about the existence of a person like Chen Ping.

Chen Ping’s series of operations in Nandu City are forcing the group of alien beasts in the center of Nandu City to gradually move closer to the western half of the city. Those alien beasts will spread all their anger towards Chen Ping on the 11th Division.

This made the officers and soldiers of the 11th Division a little angry.

The disaster was caused by Chen Ping, and the entire 11th Division must bear the consequences. If Chen Ping was not allowed to contribute to the 11th Division, they would suffer a big loss.

Of course, as a commander, every time he saw Chen Ping, he was always surrounded by mechas. The commander also understood who Chen Ping was. He knew very well that Chen Ping could only be treated as an invitation. To use force against Chen Ping, the 11th Division is not qualified.

Of course, Chen Ping’s series of actions convinced the commander of the 11th Division that Chen Ping would never abandon the civilians of Nandu City, so Chen Ping would most likely agree if he asked Chen Ping to help defend the western half of the city.

Because he had seen through this day, the commander sent an action team to the eastern half of the city to find Chen Ping.

However, the action team had been out for several days, and not only did they not bring back Chen Ping, but the entire action team did not send back any news.

That’s why the commander seemed a little anxious and gloomy.

The 11th Division finally sent the action team out. How could they accept such an unclear result?
