Global Catastrophe: I, Mecha God, Can't Hide From The World

Chapter 167 Invisibility FunctionThe flying sickle beast retreated, and the pressure on Chen Ping and the mechas was instantly reduced to almost nothing. The alien beast had no air power, and it was almost impossible to deal with flying targets like Chen Ping.

”Ouch!!”

On the ground, those wildly roaring alien-winged beasts raised their necks and vented their anger at Chen Ping, but they had no choice but to stare at Chen Ping.

Chen Ping couldn’t care about the remaining alien-winged beasts. He just casually gave orders to the Master Chief’s mechas to clean up the alien-winged beasts, and then looked greedily at the black smoke slowly rising to the side. bee beacon.

Chen Ping put both hands on Bee Beacon’s body and kept rubbing it up and down. At this time, he no longer disliked Bee Beacon’s rough surface, nor did he dislike Bee Beacon’s body being made of cheap goods.

”Master...Mastermind, what are you doing??”

Even with the binary chip brain of Bee Beacon, he also noticed that Chen Ping’s actions were somewhat unusual, and he asked a cautious question with difficulty.

”Hey, Tiedan, I suddenly realized that you are quite cute!”

Chen Ping laughed happily, his eyes shining.

”don’t want……”

Bee Beacon’s body trembled weakly, and the timbre of the electronic sound became trembling.

”Stop talking nonsense and send me the information on stealth technology verbatim!!”

Chen Ping slapped Bee Beacon on the head, changed his tone and gave a fierce order.

”It turns out you just covet my stealth technology!! The relentless rain kept falling, soaking me and breaking my heart...”

Bee Beacon whispered something in a low voice, and then actually sang it. When Chen Ping heard the weird electronic syllables, a big embarrassment appeared on his face.

”Tiedan, if you continue to be so disgusting, I will send you back to the base and dismantle you into scrap metal!”

Chen Ping said in a cold voice.

In fact, even if Bee Beacon does not give Chen Ping information, Chen Ping can still contact the part-time worker No. 1 through the system and obtain the information on stealth technology. However, compared to dealing with the more middle-class part-time worker No. 1, Chen Ping felt that he was more willing to communicate with the guy in front of him who didn’t look very smart.

At any rate, my superior IQ is enough to allow me to play with iron eggs in the palm of my hand.

”Uuuuh...the mastermind, bullying people!!”

The bee beacon’s electronic voice instantly switched to a woman’s voice, and she began to whine.

Chen Ping’s face turned ugly, and he could actually switch between male and female voices at will. This was a ”quite surprising” feature.

I don’t know what part-timer No. 1 was thinking, but he actually added such a boring function to the bee beacon. What kind of use could this be? Is it possible to let Bee Beacon use this female voice to lure strange beasts?

Soon, under Chen Ping’s coercion and inducement, a piece of information about the ”stealth” performance was transmitted to Chen Ping’s mind by the beacon.

Invisibility is not actually the kind of invisibility that turns entities into nothingness, but visually deceives creatures with physical vision.

To be more precise, the state of the beacon is not invisibility, but mimicry. The Bee Beacon is covered with 5,600 pinhole cameras. These cameras can each capture one pixel of the surrounding environment, and then use the powerful computing power of the computer to simulate the surrounding environment and reflect it on the funnel-shaped image slide around the camera. .

The funnel-shaped slide will directly turn the image into a three-dimensional image because of this special structure. The 5,600 cameras are like the compound eyes of insects. They combine the image information of only one pixel to form a whole. Clear image.

In this way, the bee beacon can simulate the surrounding environment, thereby integrating with the surroundings and deceiving the visual system of the alien beasts. This is why Chen Ping found that the surface of the bee beacon’s shell is full of pits.

Theoretically speaking, the more cameras there are on the beacon, the more precise the simulation capability can be. However, 5,600 is already the limit that Part-timer No. 1 can achieve at present. But even so, those alien-winged beasts just got closer. Even within one or two meters of the beacon, the presence of the beacon was still not detected.

Therefore, this level is enough for now.

However, according to the technical information transmitted by the bee beacon, this technology still has major technical flaws. To put it simply, this technology is just a physical effect caused by gathering many cameras together, and can only deceive living creatures. eyes, but cannot isolate themselves from the detection of various machines.

To put it bluntly, if the alien beast has a metal detector on its body, or a radar detector like the Blue Star military force, the camouflage of the bee beacon will be seen through instantly.

But if Chen Ping wants to transfer this technology to other mechas, there is a more realistic problem, that is, if these cameras are spread throughout the entire mecha, it will inevitably have a big impact on the current form of the mecha. Influence.

Why is the bee beacon designed in a spherical shape? Because this shape is the simplest and allows the camera to be evenly distributed on the surface.

Chen Ping still needs to spend more time researching how to break through this problem for mechas in human and animal forms such as the Master Chief mecha or the Snow Wolf mecha.

In other words, there is still a long way to go before Chen Ping can implement this technology on a large scale on various mechas in a short period of time, unless... he wants to transform all current mechas into spherical shapes. This is obviously unrealistic, or Chen Ping can make a breakthrough in this technology, allowing a mechanical body with a complex structure like the Master Chief’s mecha to simulate the surrounding environment.

However, Chen Ping suddenly opened his mind and thought of a brilliant genius plan.

Complex mechanical bodies like the Master Chief’s mecha can’t, but... another thing made by Job No. 1, the ”doomsday bomb”, seems to be something that can be tried.

Doomsday bombs are almost spherical, large, bulky, and extremely powerful. The bulky missile body makes it impossible for the launcher equipped to launch it far away from the explosion range.

This thing...if it were changed into a time bomb, coupled with the ability to simulate the surrounding environment to achieve physical visual invisibility, just put it on the path where the alien beast must pass, then...

”Hahaha, I am really a genius when it comes to riding a horse!!”

Thinking of that scene, Chen Ping couldn’t help but reveal a cruel expression on his face, and the beacon beside him also trembled.

”Mastermind, the alien beasts have been cleared!”

A report came from one of the mechas, interrupting Chen Ping’s thoughts.
