Global Catastrophe: I, Mecha God, Can't Hide From The World

Chapter 78 Meeting an old acquaintanceChen Ping’s body flew higher and higher, and he had a panoramic view of the western half of the city.

”No wonder those awakened people want to become stronger. It turns out that this feeling of being at the top and guiding the country... is really fascinating! Hahaha!”

Chen Ping controlled his body to fly forward and deliberately slowed down. He wanted to enjoy this feeling.

”Squeak...”

Suddenly, a piercing cry came from the sky.

Chen Ping raised his head, and saw that the giant black insect Nairdu in the sky was raising his head, waving several of his arthropod legs, his head raised, and his mouthparts like giant pincers were frantically tearing at the space barrier.

Neldu’s huge body almost blocked all the sunlight, making the entire Blue Star look a little dark. Even in the daytime, the light was not very good.

Chen Ping was suspended in mid-air, looking up at the huge black shadow. This black giant insect had always been like a huge cancer on the blue star, making people feel terrified every day.

”Wait, Neldu! I will soon twist off your ugly head and make it a specimen!”

Chen Ping secretly swore in his heart.

Neldu in the sky seemed to sense Chen Ping’s inner provocation. His huge and flat head lowered his head and glanced at Blue Star, and let out another terrifying roar.

Chen Ping glanced bitterly, and slowly landed towards Sunan City below.

Suddenly, Chen Ping saw a dozen figures walking quickly through the streets, arranged in a semicircle. The direction they were heading was exactly where he had slaughtered the Red Roaring Beast.

Moreover, looking at their actions, they are not ordinary people at all. They are all fierce and fast, and they are organized actions.

However, upon closer inspection, Chen Ping discovered something that he couldn’t understand. This group of people actually tied up two little girls who were only six or seven years old.

Chen Ping did not detect any energy fluctuations in the two little girls.

Obviously, these are just two ordinary human children. I don’t know what these awakened people are doing by kidnapping two little girls.

No matter what they did, Chen Ping didn’t care, but this group of people now obviously wanted to target the level 3 red roar beast.

”Hey! There are still people playing with me like a mantis catching a cicada and an oriole behind??”

Chen Ping was angry in his heart. Although Chen Ping did not dislike the existence of the awakened people, this group of awakened people actually wanted to use dirty tricks to steal the spoils. That was absolutely unacceptable.

With so many people coming, the woman just now would definitely not be able to handle them, and her life might be in danger.

”Forget it, just try to help again if you can.”

Chen Ping thought for a moment, then controlled his body to float down again in the direction of killing the Red Roar Beast.

”Haha, Lin Wei!! We meet again, what a coincidence!”

With a sneer on his face, Wang Dong jumped onto a building, and then more than a dozen people appeared in different directions on the street, trapping Lin Wei in the middle.

Lin Wei, who was preparing to cut up the body of the Red Howler, stood up nervously. At her feet was the recently dead Red Howler, whose body lay like a hill in the middle of the street.

”Wang Dong??”

Lin Wei looked at the person coming, confused for a moment, and then realized that these people were probably trying to rob him.

”Wang Dong, I said I would hand over the body of this level 3 red roar beast to you, so there is no need to work so hard to snatch it, right?”

Lin Wei was a little confused as to what these people were thinking. She had obviously been caught by them, and she would definitely hand over the level 3 alien beast. What was going on with all the effort?

”Robbing? No no! Lin Wei, you misunderstood! We are here to get it! Get the loot that belongs to us!”

Wang Dong smiled evilly.

”Your trophies? Haha!...Wang Dong, after all, you are also a level 2 awakener, so you can say such shameless things.”

Lin Wei mocked disdainfully. Even she, Lin Wei, did not dare to say that. The strange beast under her feet could only be that man’s trophy.

”Hehe! If I say yes, then it must be! This level 3 alien beast is our trophy, and you... are also our trophy!”

Wang Dong let out a lewd smile and stared at Lin Wei evilly. He slowly raised his hand and clenched his fist. A layer of gray stone skin appeared on his arm, and a small burst of fire appeared on his fist.

”What’s the meaning??”

Lin Wei’s brows knitted together tightly. What do you mean I am also their trophy?

But seeing Wang Dong adopt such a posture, it was obvious that he wanted to fight to the end with his face.

Lin Wei didn’t say much. She took out a black arrow from the arrow basket on her back, bent her bow and aimed it at Wang Dong’s head, although Lin Wei had no confidence that she could deal with more than a dozen awakened ones at the same time.

But Lin Wei was still able to shoot Wang Dong’s head with one arrow.

”Hmph, Wang Dong! Do you think I, Lin Wei, am afraid of you? The worst is possible!”

Lin Wei said harshly, having already made up her mind to exchange one life for another.

”Oh? You want to do something?”

Wang Dong rolled his eyelids, ”Stupid woman, you should look behind you first! Haha!”

Following Wang Dong’s reminder, Lin Wei turned her head slightly. Dozens of meters behind her, an awakened person was grabbing a little girl’s neck with one hand.

Both girls were tied tightly with thick hemp ropes, with two rags stuffed in their mouths, and fear written on their little faces.

”Xiaoying Xiaoxuan! You... you...”

Seeing this, Lin Wei felt angry and her face was filled with cold hatred.

”Wang Dong, what did you do to the remaining people?”

The two little lolita are here, which can only mean that Wang Dong took advantage of his absence to go to the shelter again.

There are civilians in the shelter, and they have no protection of their own. When facing such a group of awakened people who are like jackals and tigers, one can imagine what the result will be.

”What’s going on? You don’t know what we’ll do to them?”

Wang Dong deliberately patted his clothes, and Lin Wei discovered that the corners of the clothes of more than a dozen people were stained with long-dried red and black blood.

”You bunch of beasts!!”

Lin Wei was angry, she loosened her bowstring, and shot an arrow full of anger towards Wang Dong. However, because Lin Wei lost her mind, the arrow had no accuracy at all, and was easily dodged by Wang Dong.

”Lin Wei, if you don’t want to see those two little girls crushed to death, I advise you to surrender!”

Wang Dong had a cold face. Lin Wei’s arrow just now was extremely fast. If he hadn’t been prepared for it, he might have been hit. Then he would be unjust.

”Surrender is impossible!”

Suddenly, a man’s voice sounded faintly.

Everyone turned their heads following the sound, and saw that the Awakened One who was originally holding the little girl had a big hole in his chest at some point, and blood spurted out from the wound.

Throwing the awakened man’s body aside with one hand, Chen Ping’s smiling face appeared in front of everyone.

The Master Chief mecha following Chen Ping quickly protected the two little girls beside him.

”Fat man, I didn’t expect us to meet again!”

Chen Ping said to Wang Dong with a playful smile, as if he were an old friend he hadn’t seen for many years.

”It’s you!! Chen Ping!!”

Wang Dong screamed strangely. This guy named Chen Ping seemed to have become a shadow in Wang Dong’s heart, and he had always been worried about him.
