Global Catastrophe: I, Mecha God, Can't Hide From The World

Chapter 53 Going their separate ways”Boom boom boom!!”

The artillery fire of the armored battalion has become less and less, and has even become very sparse.

After Chen Ping broke out of the siege, he quickly met the regimental commander’s command vehicle.

”Haha, boy! You are indeed a talent. If it weren’t for you, I’m afraid our 29th Army would have been completely wiped out by the alien beasts.”

The group leader was obviously extremely happy to be able to escape from the encirclement of the alien beasts.

”Your Excellency, Captain, the price we paid is also very heavy!”

Obviously, Chen Ping was not half happy about being out of trouble. 1377 was gone, and many TD-1 mechas also exploded into a mushroom cloud during the battle.

”The dead are gone, the living are the most pitiable! Boy Chen Ping, we have to move on!”

The group leader patted Chen Ping on the shoulder.

”Captain, where do you plan to go next?”

Chen Ping’s question made the group leader think deeply.

At present, the entire Xia Kingdom is in chaos. I don’t know if the military has considered the life and death of the 29th Army. Where else can I go?

”It is the duty of a soldier to protect his family and country. I plan to find a large force to replenish ammunition consumption first, and then move to the next city. I will count as many people as I can rescue!”

The group leader thought for a moment and replied.

Chen Ping thought for a while, and judging from the current situation of this army, it was almost impossible to directly cross the blockade of the alien beasts and reach Xidu, the temporary center of Xia Kingdom.

”Okay, to make a long story short, I suggest you retreat to Nansu City first. There should still be Xia troops there. Before you get supplies of personnel and ammunition, it’s best to avoid the big cities.”

The group leader nodded.

”Boy Chen Ping, I hope we can meet again alive!”

The door of the command vehicle was closed and they quickly evacuated. Chen Ping also took the remaining students, Jiang Yunya and others to retreat all the way towards the place where Li Yatong and others were hiding.

The alien beast herd lost the target of encirclement and all attacked the retreating people. Of course, the remaining troops of the 29th Army naturally received more attention from the alien beast herd because their target was too large.

This also creates more opportunities for small forces like Chen Ping to escape.

………………

Chen Ping drove the truck to retreat to the base. At this moment, the people sitting in the co-pilot of the truck were replaced by Jiang Yunya and Li Yatong. The rest of the people were crowded in the cargo compartment, and more students were walking on their own legs.

Everyone was grieving for the death of their companion, and for a while, the atmosphere in the car became a little silent.

”Chen Ping, what are you going to do next?”

Jiang Yunya broke the silence and asked.

”I plan to contact the relevant departments to evacuate you to the rear.”

This was Chen Ping’s original plan. After evacuating these students from Red Sea University, Chen Ping could free his hands and feet to do something big in Red Sea City.

”Us? You mean you won’t leave?”

Li Yatong instantly looked at Chen Ping with an expression of dissatisfaction.

”Why should I leave? There are still many things waiting for me to do!”

Just kidding, Chen Ping’s lair is in the Red Sea, can he leave? For Chen Ping now, the base is everything to him.

”Then I won’t leave either!”

Li Yatong blushed and turned to look out the window angrily. Her posture clearly told Chen Ping not to persuade him, but it was useless.

”I...I won’t leave either...”

Jiang Yunya thought for a while and squeezed out a few words. Her voice became quieter and quieter, even so quiet that Chen Ping couldn’t hear it.

”Stop making trouble, what are you two women doing here? Don’t hold me back, okay?”

While driving, Chen Ping held his forehead and said with a headache.

”Am I holding you back? Chen Ping, do you have a conscience? If it weren’t for me, would the swelling and pain under your eyes be healed so quickly?”

Li Yatong turned around and asked Chen Ping.

Auntie, you have the nerve to say that you have completely forgotten why my eyes were swollen.

Chen Ping cursed in his heart.

However, this girl Li Yatong has special abilities. She may be injured or something, but she may not be able to help, Chen Ping thought in his mind.

”If I hadn’t saved you, you would have died in the circle of alien beasts just now.”

Jiang Yunya was also excited and continued what Li Yatong said.

”Well……”

Chen Ping was speechless for a moment, but it was true. If Chen Ping hadn’t cut off the neck of the alien-winged beast with Jiang Yunya’s stunning sword when he was exhausted from the killing, Chen Ping would have been devoured by the alien beast and turned into dregs by now.

”correct……”

”Master Chief No. 1, get here quickly!”

Thinking of this, Chen Ping stepped on the accelerator to stop the car, tilted his head and shouted towards the outside of the car.

”Mastermind! What are your orders?”

Master Chief No. 1 jogged all the way to Chen Ping’s car window, banged his right fist on his chest, and asked.

”You, take a few mechas and go back to pick up some strange beast corpses for me. Remember, you must pick the big ones!”

Chen Ping gave a faint order.

Speaking of awakened ones, Chen Ping remembered that he had never eaten the meat of exotic beasts. It would be great if he could awaken some special powers.

Moreover, before the relevant departments come to take away this group of students, Chen Ping also needs to take care of the survival of these students. What can he do without enough food?

Jiang Yunya and Li Yatong both looked at Chen Ping with contempt.

Chen Ping didn’t care about the looks in their eyes, he was thinking about a question now. Since there are awakened people in the Xia Kingdom, there must be other countries as well.

The awakened ones are very likely to grow into a major force in resisting the invasion of alien beasts, and their own mechas are also very likely to confront this group of awakened ones.

I don’t know if my mecha is stronger or if the awakened ones are more powerful.

As of now, apart from Jiang Yunya, the strongest awakened person Chen Ping has encountered is Zhao Chengxue.

Although Zhao Chengxue’s mental ability is very useful for humans and alien beasts, which have ”spiritual bodies”, but for mechas... that is, they are blind. Mechas do not have a brain for Zhao Chengxue to control.

In other words, Chen Ping’s mecha can be said to be a one-sided defeat against Zhao Chengxue, but this does not mean that the level 2 awakened ones cannot defeat the mecha. The confrontation with Zhao Chengxue does not have much reference value, and it is impossible to protect these awakened ones. It is not certain that even weirder abilities will be awakened to restrain the mecha.

It seems that we need to continue to strengthen the capabilities of the mecha.

”System, how many more war points are needed to upgrade?”

Chen Ping called up the system panel in his mind.

”Upgrading the system to level 3 requires the host’s war points to reach 1 million. The current war points are 54,100. Please continue to work hard.”

The system prompts sounded.

”Fuck!! So many?? If I had known, I wouldn’t have bought it...”

Chen Ping was completely dumbfounded. If Chen Ping had not exchanged the design drawings for the level 2 mecha, half of his war points would have been exceeded.

If the system is not upgraded, the technology tree cannot be climbed, and the technology cannot be improved, so there is no way to get more powerful mechas. This is an endless cycle...

”System, is there any way to get a better mecha without upgrading the system?”

Chen Ping thought for a while and asked again.

”The host can spend war points to refresh the blueprint mall to obtain higher value blueprints!”

The system prompted without emotion.

”Damn, why didn’t you tell me such an important thing earlier!!”

Chen Ping cursed.
