Global Catastrophe: I, Mecha God, Can't Hide From The World

Chapter 62: It is impossible to work part-timeWith the help of the Peace Dove mecha, Chen Ping’s base quickly produced the first working robot.

Chen Ping, who was already looking forward to working robots, was even more surprised after seeing the physical machinery.

Although the part-time robot is a medium-sized mecha like the Master Chief mecha, the part-time robot is much larger than the Master Chief mecha.

This kind of mecha, which is called a part-time robot, is over three meters tall. Its two arms are extremely thick and long, especially the palms, which are very delicate. The unified design is six fingers, which is very impressive at first glance. Good at delicate tasks.

The more prominent feature is that this kind of mecha has a huge oval-shaped head, which makes it look a bit uncoordinated, but the overall appearance is very beautiful and has no sense of disharmony.

Chen Ping was puzzled as to why the Master Chief mecha, as a combat unit, did not have such a strong body shape. If the Master Chief mecha could be equipped with such a physique, coupled with powerful firepower and armor, it would instantly give the enemy a powerful blow. The feeling of oppression will rise several levels.

A part-time robot has an empty skin but is used to carry bricks 996. Isn’t this... a waste of resources?

”Mastermind, part-time robot No. 1 reports to you!”

With the completion of the final program implantation, the working robot stood up from the production line and slowly came to Chen Ping.

”Yeah! Very good! As Worker No. 1, what can you do?”

Although they are just a group of mechas and do not have self-awareness in a strict sense, Chen Ping feels that he still has to behave like a good leader who is considerate and caring for his subordinates in front of them.

”From moving bricks to scientific research, from cooking to making salt, I know everything and can do everything! I am who I am, a different kind of fireworks. I bring salt for the workers~ yo!”

Worker No. 1 chatted for a while and made a ”yeah” gesture.

”ah???”

At this moment, Chen Ping looked like a black man with a question mark on his face. He seemed to see a trace of Master Chief No. 1 in this mecha.

This guy...this guy must have some abnormality in his mind!

Can this thing really take on the heavy responsibility of a research project?

Chen Ping was very suspicious.

However, everything has been created, so I have to try the effect anyway. Although it seems a bit unreliable, the things produced by the system have not fooled Chen Ping once so far.

”Okay, okay! Put away your rustic temperament and get to work quickly.”

Chen Ping said.

The research room at the base has been vacant for a long time.

Originally, Chen Ping thought that the research room at the base needed to be staffed by Chen Ping himself with researchers. However, after Chen Ping saw the introduction of the part-time robots, Chen Ping realized that the research work had actually been replaced by mechas.

I don’t know if these robots written with fixed programs can do research.

”Mastermind, according to the current form, your troops lack an effective high-power expendable weapon. Although they are individually stronger than the same level of alien beasts, they do not have any numerical advantage. Therefore, you can only shrink back. In this ruined city.”

The working robot pointed out Chen Ping’s current predicament sharply.

”What do you mean by shrinking, you motherfucker! I call this occupation, okay?”

Chen Ping’s face flushed. He found that the working robot was not only abnormal in mind, but also had a venomous tongue. He took out his notebook frequently, and Chen Ping wrote down the words ”Worker No. 1 was recast” in the small notebook. .

”So, I suggest that we need to research a powerful bomb weapon that can be used by mechas, which can alleviate your current disadvantage of being surrounded by alien beasts.”

Regardless of Chen Ping’s reaction, Worker No. 1 still ”told the truth” ruthlessly.

”...Come on, hit worker No. 1, and turn around.”

Chen Ping was speechless for a while, then ordered Beater No. 1 to turn around, and then kicked Beater No. 1 hard on the butt.

”There’s so much nonsense, get out! The employer is for you to work, not for you to speak to me.”

Chen Ping cursed while rubbing his sore toes.

”Working? It’s impossible to work part-time. It’s impossible to work in this life! You can only live by talking to the mastermind. The mastermind is good-looking and sounds nice. Oh, I like the mastermind so much!”

Worker No. 1 walked toward the research room while chattering nonsense.

If it weren’t for the severe headache in Chen Ping’s toes, Chen Ping would have jumped up and given this guy a beating. He really didn’t deserve a beating.

However, Chen Ping was very interested in the powerful bomb proposed by this guy.

It is conceivable that if we encounter a large-scale beast herd that besieged Red Sea University again, and hundreds of Master Chief mechas throw powerful bombs at the same time, will it be so difficult to break through the encirclement of the alien beasts?

Think about the weapon systems currently equipped on the Master Chief mecha:

Although the particle cannon is powerful, it needs to be charged before each launch. Although this process only takes a few seconds, sometimes just these few seconds can turn the battle situation into a huge reversal, and the attack range of the particle cannon It’s too short, not even comparable to an ordinary cannonball.

Laser weapons do not require energy storage, and the attack range is far enough, but the power of the laser is still too small, and it can only deal with cannon fodder such as Alien Winged Beast.

Not to mention the TD-1 mecha. Its performance is far inferior to that of the Master Chief, and it is still using weapons such as the ”God-Slayer” gun that have not completely left the firearms era.

If it weren’t for the powerful performance of the Master Chief’s mecha, I’m afraid the situation Chen Ping would face would be even worse.

Chen Ping carefully studied the following data from the invasion of alien beasts so far. Chen Ping found that from a single individual mecha, the number of alien beasts destroyed by the Master Chief mecha was far less than that of the TD-1 mecha.

Why is the TD-1 mecha with a technical level of only level 1 more efficient than the master chief mecha with level 2?

The biggest difference is that the TD-1 mecha is equipped with a small nuclear bomb, which often takes away a large number of strange beasts before dying, while the Master Chief mecha has been modified because of its nuclear reactor, making it safer and rarely used. Shaohui will explode on the battlefield.

Therefore, if it can be equipped with powerful bombs, it will still have certain benefits in terms of influencing the battle situation.

…………

While Chen Ping was thinking, several more working robots were manufactured. Together with the previous prototype No. 1, there were a total of ten working robots.

Chen Ping assigned them all to the research room to engage in research work.

Soon, these robots submitted an ongoing research project to Chen Ping: ”Doomsday Bomb”

According to the description of the project, Chen Ping probably knew that this was an electromagnetic pulse bomb, and that the bomb would be filled with very thick adsorbed carbon. Once it exploded, the huge power would make the Master Chief glorious along with the alien beasts.
