Chapter 44

Regarding the investigation of the poisoning incident, the Commission for Discipline Inspection continued its emergency meeting.Christie, as the current chairman, is responsible for chairing the meeting.

”Isn’t Xiao Yisi suspicious? He has enough suspicions!”

”Duo Duo is a first-year student of Xing Law School, and he has been in contact with Xiao Yisi all the time, this is an opportunity!”

”Maybe he was instigated by Xiao Yisi.”

At present, the members of the Disciplinary Inspection Commission are divided into two factions, one believes that Duoduo is the real killer, and the other firmly believes that You Yisi is behind the scenes.

Christie frowned and said, ”There is no evidence that Duoduo received Xiao Yisi’s instructions before attacking. Moreover, Xiao Yisi has no motive.”

”There is no motive, because he concealed it well.” A person disdainfully said, ”Who knows what he is thinking?”

Christie looked at the man and spoke bluntly. ”Then may I say that you are eager to convict Xiao Yisi because he made you lose face in the last entrance test?”

The third-year student in front of him was the head of the Star Law School who had a conflict with You Yimi during the test, and was also a member of the monitoring team at that time.

”You have nothing to prove!” The man was anxious.

”Yes, I have nothing to prove, and you are not the same.” Christie retorted.

”Okay, you two.” Linaldo, the head of the fourth-year Star Law School who was in the middle, said with a headache, ”That’s not the point. The point is, now we have to figure out why Duoduo poisoned, maybe we should continue Ask a lot.”

”It’s not good, senior brother, senior sister!”

During the conversation, someone broke into the room and brought an unexpected news.

”Duoduo committed suicide in the confinement room!”

”What!” Everyone shouted.

……

Arima was quietly waiting for the latest results in the forbidden room. However, since Senior Brother Christie left, no one has come over.It wasn’t until the morning, when he was drowsy, that he heard the door open.

It was Christie who opened the door, and behind him were several other people. Some of them, whom Yisi had met in the previous assembly, were Beichen’s school directors.

You Yisi rubbed his numb knees, and immediately stood up, maintaining the most basic etiquette.

”Brother...”

Before he could finish speaking, he was interrupted by a sharp voice.

”That’s him?” Bovary said harshly, ”Is he an accomplice?”

Christie frowned, ”Director Bovary, the matter has not been settled yet, you shouldn’t make such judgments.”

”Confession? Does he have such courage alone? And everyone committed suicide in fear of guilt. Where can we go to investigate?” Bovary complained, ”Do we have to hand over a corpse to the empire to make them think we are fooling us? Is it? Since this guy is still alive, why not take him...”

”What did you say?”

You Yisi raised his head, ”What corpse? He committed suicide in fear of crime?” He hadn’t slept all night, and there were deep bloodshot eyes in his eyes, like cobwebs linked together.

”Brother, tell me what’s going on? What did he mean by what he just said?” He asked Christie.

”Bold, a commoner, how dare you speak to me like this!” Bovary jumped angrily. However, no one paid attention to him at this time, even Christie ignored his anger, but looked at Masami with an inexplicable apology in his eyes.

”Last night, Duoduo committed suicide in the confinement room.” He said dryly, ”He left a message to confess all the facts and bear all the charges alone. So, you are now...”

”I don’t care about this!” You Yisi excitedly stepped forward and grabbed Christie’s collar, ”What about others? What about people!”

”...sorry. He wasn’t breathing when we went.”

Not breathing.died.

The life that was still fresh yesterday is gone like this?

You Yisi’s brain was buzzing with pain, feeling that everything was so unreal.

”It’s just a frontier resident who commits suicide in fear of crime, and dies when he dies. How can it be more important than the safety of the prince of Atlantis?” Bovary said dissatisfiedly, ”I advise you, this accomplice, to confess as soon as possible, and we can still treat you Take it lightly.”

”To shut up……”

”what?”

”I tell you to shut up, pig!”

You Yisi glared at the other party angrily, almost bleeding from his eyes.Looking at the ugly face of the person in front of him, and thinking of Mifiro Kata’s proud smile when the war broke out, it seemed like a flame was burning in his heart, and he couldn’t calm down at all.

If it hadn’t been for the consistent harsh treatment of mixed races, and if the central government hadn’t ordered the satellite to be blown up, the oppressed border residents would not have resisted, the war would have never happened, and everything that followed would not have happened. And who is responsible for these, is it one person, or a group of people?

No, You Yisi has long known that if something rots, it must start from the inside. In the entire Republic, how many people are there who despise human life and are arrogant like Bovary?

”Rushing against the board director, plus being suspected of poisoning.” Bovary was stunned, and then became angry, ”You just wait to be expelled from the school! Christie, keep him here, and I will apply to the school for a public trial of him! ”

”Director!” Christie stopped, ”You can’t do this.”

”I can, just because I’m still one of the directors of this school.” Bovary took a last look at Yimi, smiled triumphantly, and left with his hands.

Christie was very worried about this, and asked Yu Yimi, ”Why did you provoke him like that?”

However, when he turned around, he found that there was no longer the angry expression on Yuimi’s face.He stood quietly, like a sculpture.Noticing Christie’s gaze, You Yimi raised his eyes to look at him, but there was no light reflected in the black pupils.

”Brother. What if something rots from the inside?”

Listening to his flat voice, Christie felt great pressure.

”What are you going to do, Xiao Yisi, what are you going to do?” He stepped forward and grabbed You Yisi, ”We have already lost a student, do you want to make more sacrifices? What’s the point of angering him? Don’t you know? Even if my uncle and I want to protect you now, we can’t do it at all. ”

Yasushi smiled lightly.

”As the bald man said, even though Duoduo is dead, the suspicion on me still cannot be washed away. I need an open and authoritative occasion to participate, a chance to prove myself.”

Christie looked at him suspiciously, ”Are you going to refute them in your defense like Mu Fan did last time? Are you sure?”

”Justify?” You Yisi was taken aback, then laughed lowly, ”Yes, justify. An innocent person needs to defend himself, but a guilty person sits high on the judgment seat. In this world, will you be overwhelmed?” people?”

”You...” Christie felt that something was wrong with the other person, so she let go of her hand.

”Director Bovary may bring up your trial soon, you... hurry up and rest. As for the others, I will try my best to help you arrange it.”

”Xiao Yisi, don’t be too impulsive.”

After leaving a few words at the end, Christie sighed and left the confinement room.

After the surroundings became quiet, You Yisi sat thinking, but in the quiet room, voices like hallucinations kept coming.

【Thank you.May I compensate with wheat flour, which is a specialty I brought from home. 】【Brother Yi! 】

The pain of suffocation buried his whole body.

He thought that he would never see that boy who smiled and called his name again.

You Yisi never imagined that what happened that night would change his fate so completely. And the fate of the entire Beichen galaxy also began to change from this moment.

”What did you say?”

Shen Yanwen overturned the plate in his hand, and said ruthlessly: ”How could Xiao Yisi be imprisoned in the confinement room, how could Duoduo die? Please explain clearly!”

Wei Ying let him vent his anger, and after a while, he continued: ”Mu Fan was poisoned last night. Duoduo and Xiao Yisi were both suspected, and Duoduo committed suicide after confessing, Xiao Yisi is still in confinement Room. Some people have suggested to the school board that a public trial of Xiao Yisi should be initiated a week later.”

”Absurd, nonsense! How could that guy Xiao Yisi do it? It’s impossible to say more... Il!” Seeing the person coming from the door, Shen Yanwen seemed to have seen a savior, ”This stupid woman is talking nonsense here, Il Er, did you see Duoduo this morning? He must be fine, right? Hurry up and call him here, and the rumors will be self-defeating!”

”……no.”

”Speak louder, I can’t hear you clearly!”

”It’s not a rumor.” Isolde said with a dry throat, ”The notice has been posted, Yanwen, and Xiaoyi will face trial next week.”

”I don’t believe it!” Shen Yanwen yelled, ”Yesterday he was fine, and he was dragged away by Professor Modi to treat him. How could this happen today! What happened, everything changed?”

”Calm down.” A man came over, ”Maybe I can tell you what happened.”

”Warren Hammer.” Isolde looked at him warily, ”What are you doing here?”

”Don’t be like this.” Warren raised his hands. ”I am not hostile, but I just want to tell you some inside information. Although everyone may know it soon, I think you must be eager to find out the truth.”

”What do you know?”

Looking at these people, Warren spoke slowly.

”Things are very complicated, please listen to me explain slowly...”

Just when Warren Hammer passed on the internal information to the Yiers, the news that the satellite inhabited by the Roman system was blown up spread like crazy, and all the rebels and hundreds of thousands of civilians on the satellite survived. And it was the Beichen Third Fleet that launched the destroying missile.

The sound of cursing and questioning was overwhelming, and waves of protests against the Beichen Fleet in various galaxies set off a climax.Butcher, executioner, and various titles were added to the soldiers who went to battle.

Although the spokesperson of the Central Military Department came forward to explain afterwards, the reason was that the intelligence was wrong, and it was not known that there were civilians on the satellite. But the blood shed was irretrievable, and people were outraged by sympathy for innocent lives, and no explanation was accepted.Even Beichen’s own people began to doubt their fighters.

”Hand over the executioner!”

”Let them kneel before the innocent dead!”

Beichen’s sharp sword was finally stained with an indelible shadow.

This military soul who has been guarding the border for hundreds of years and regards honor as his life had to bend his spine deeply.
