interstellar chief prosecutor

Chapter 40

After the news of the war broke out, there was an uproar in Beichen Military Academy.Even in the cafeteria where they had lunch, many students were discussing the news.

”Why did you say the uprising?”

”Shh, what an uprising, the military department said it was a rebellion.”

”I heard that it is close to the extragalactic galaxy, and there are many mixed blood.”

”Doesn’t the central government have a supportive policy for mixed blood? Now even those purebred aliens can come to the interior to do business.”

”Yes, but the same heavy tax of 30.00% will be imposed.”

The atmosphere became very heavy for a while.

In this vast star field, besides humans and Atlanteans, among the known intelligent creatures, there is another group of numerous races that cannot be ignored, and that is the alien life in extraterrestrial galaxies. Most of them do not have a human-like appearance, and wars broke out with humans many times in the history of interstellar development.

Therefore, these alien races with alien appearances have always been more or less discriminated against in the Republic. However, the races have been mixed for many years, and the humans in the border areas have long had indistinct relationships with the aliens.Unexpectedly, this time, the civil war also started from this.

In the principal’s office, Wiscon sighed deeply as he looked at the latest report.

”Bei Chen has cultivated his health and rested for many years, but he never thought that when he went to battle again, he would swing his sword at his own compatriots.”

There is an unresolved melancholy between his brows.

Once a war breaks out, it cannot be undone.

In the past few days, as the Beichen Third Fleet went to the battlefield, the news from the front came back one by one, and the atmosphere in the school became much more depressing.

The professors still attend classes normally, but You Yisi can clearly feel that even they are more or less not in class anymore.

Rebel Army, Civil War, Beichen Fleet.

None of these three key words is not eye-catching.Not only does it involve the entire Beichen galaxy, but it also involves the hearts and minds of the people in the entire Republic. The Atlantis Empire is obviously also very concerned about this.Since Mu Fan hurriedly left that time, he never returned to school, and he didn’t know what he was busy with.

During the lunch break that day, the school got the latest news.

The third ship had already arrived at the front line and began to confront the rebel army head-on. In front of the regular army, these rebel troops were just temporarily gathered by ordinary people, and they were quickly retreating steadily. Most of the planets occupied by the rebel army have been recovered, and only the last part of the rebel army is left struggling in vain.

The battle went very smoothly, but no one was happy.

The Beichen Fleet is a sharp sword, the sharpest sword honed by every Beichen soldier with blood.Just like the long sword held high on the badge of the Guardian Academy, this sword is used to protect their loved ones and their hometown. But now, no matter what the reason, this sharp sword is swung at his own people.

No one is happy.

During the break after school, several people from Yisi also gathered together to discuss this matter.

”You say, how can you say that rebellion is rebellion? What benefits can they get?”

Shen Yanwen was very puzzled and said: ”Could it be that they defected to the Republic, can they still go to the Empire?”

Isolde said: ”The empire will not accept them either.”

”Of course I know that, unless they want to tear themselves apart with the Republic. Hey, it would be great if Wei Ying was here.” Shen Yanwen sighed, ”It’s a pity that she is still in closed training, otherwise we can get more news.”

”How to say?”

”Don’t you know?” Shen Yanwen lowered his voice and said mysteriously, ”The commander-in-chief of the Beichen Third Fleet this time is a member of their Wei family and Wei Ying’s third uncle. And the adjutants are all A staunch member of the original party. Such a coincidence?”

”...You mean that sending the Third Fleet to suppress the rebellion was not accidental.” You Yisi said in a deep voice, ”It was intentional.”

”In my opinion, this uprising did not happen suddenly at all. It is estimated that the central government has heard the news long ago and sent the Third Fleet to patrol nearby, so that they can be used as swordsmen in case of accidents.” Shen Yanwen, who was born in an aristocratic family , Sometimes the brain is not so stupid, ”Suppressing the uprising, no matter how well you do it, you will not get a good reputation. Isn’t this right in their trick.” He raised his eyebrows, ”Look. ”

Following the direction Shen Yanwen was pointing at, You Yisi noticed that there were a few people who were eloquent and smug in the hall, and he knew one of them.

Mifiro Kata, the son who led people to surround him during the entrance examination, and was finally bitten back. But at this time, he swept away his frustration before, and talked with the people around him with a red face. That expression seemed to be eager to let everyone know how good he was.

The original party was cheated, and the people who benefited the most were naturally the group of reformers. As the heir of the big family of the central galaxy, Mifiro Kata is also one of the vested interests.

”One clown.” Shen Yanwen sneered.

However, his undisguised loud voice attracted the Lord over.Miffelo raised his eyebrows unhappily, and after seeing the speaker, he put on a smile again, and walked over to say hello hypocritically.

”Good afternoon, everyone, the young master of the Shen family, the genius who is the first in the school, and this... classmate.” He glanced at Isolde, temporarily unable to figure out his identity. There were rumors that Isolde belonged to the Star Whale family. Before confirming it, Miffelo decided not to provoke him.

”Why, are you all gathered here to discuss the hotly discussed war?” Miffelo said, ”The rebel army is retreating steadily, and the Beichen Fleet is in full swing. This is all good news.” His gaze turned to You Yisi, With a bit of insidiousness that he thought he had hidden very well, ”What do you think, Xiao Yisi? As a citizen of the Republic, everyone is not happy about suppressing the rebellion, isn’t it too strange?”

Miffelo’s eyes turned to Shen Yanwen again, with a bit of pride, ”Why do you have to cry? Oh, yes, I think the Beichen fleet is overkill. How can you deal with those mixed-race bastards back then? The strongest fleet that can defeat the Empire.”

Anyone with a discerning eye could hear the sarcasm in his words, Shen Yanwen’s violent temper was so angry that he wanted to beat someone up.

”No, I’m depressed, it’s just because I’m reflecting on one thing.” You Yisi pressed down on his impulsive companion and smiled, ”It’s just that I was merciful during the entrance examination and let in animals that shouldn’t be released. I have no strength but only A barking wild dog is really a bit disturbing.”

”You, you—good!” Miffelo gritted his teeth and smiled fiercely, ”Wait for me, you bastards of Beichen, your happy days are not long. When you finish solving those bastards on the border, it’s up to you... ...”

Halfway through Miffelo’s speech, he suddenly felt that his momentum was not right.I saw the other students who were just watching with their hands on the sidelines, all staring at him without saying a word, their eyes were like a knife scratching.

”What will happen to us, the young master of the Kata family?” Shen Yanwen looked at him with a half-smile, ”You should finish.”

”Hmph! You can do it for yourself!”

Miffelo waved his hands and fled with a few followers. He also knew that if he made a slip of the tongue for a while, if he stayed, he would be attacked by a crowd.

”Such people can still go to school, the principal is so kind.” Shen Yanwen said angrily, ”I knew that these students from the central government are not at all concerned.”

”Principal Wiscons, I’m afraid, can’t do what he wants now.” You Yisi sighed.

”Principal Weiscon?” Shen Yanwen said, ”Speaking of which, not only the principal, but also senior brothers Yanzhi and Christie have been missing recently. By the way, Duoduo hasn’t come to see us for a long time.”

He asked Isolde, ”Haven’t you seen him?”

Isolde shook his head, ”The candidate judges are divided into two classes. He is not in the same class as me, and I can’t often see him.”

Isolde hesitated for a moment, but still didn’t say a word. It’s not that he failed to meet Duoduo, but Duoduo avoided him every time.Since the news of the war came, Isolde had seen less of the withdrawn boy.But Dale, the red-haired girl who was by Duoduo’s side, would sometimes say hello to him.

Shen Yanwen worried: ”Did something happen to him? Why didn’t he come to us?”

”What should come will always come, and what should be hidden cannot be avoided.”

You Yisi stood up and walked towards the exit.

”Go back to class. We still have time.”

Many people are worried about the war on the front line, but at the same time they all think that the distant war on the front line will not have much impact on the life of the school. However, people soon realized their mistake. The first and most direct impact of the war on Beichen Military Academy is that Mu Fan will not come to class.

The second prince of Atlantis, who left a deep impression on everyone, has never appeared in front of everyone since the second day of the border war of the Republic. Some people think that, as the crown prince of another country, Mu Fan did this to avoid suspicion. There is also speculation that he was recalled to the empire to deal with related matters.

However, no one knew the real reason except the person concerned.

Mu Fan left Beichen because he received a piece of news. For this reason, he did not hesitate to leave Beichen Military Academy, temporarily gave up his long-planned plan, and even put the matter of Yisi behind him.On the second day after receiving the news, Mu Fan hurried to that place.

It was a star field, a star field full of dead silence. There is no life on the surrounding planets, and even the stars only emit a dim brilliance.

Stepping here is like stepping into a dead zone.

This is the northernmost part of the Beichen galaxy and the southernmost part of the empire’s border. It was the area where the two countries fought the most fiercely.

At the same time, it is also the burial place of the last whale shark killed in battle.

”Your Highness, we are here.” Medley dared not step forward to interrupt, and stood behind Mu Fan and said.

Mu Fan, who closed his eyes for a long time, slowly opened his eyes, the black pupils reflected the starry sea in front of him.

”I’ve been here many times, Medley.”

He got up, walked to the side of the ship, stroked the transparent floor-to-ceiling glass, and looked at the dark universe in the distance.

”Every year on the anniversary of my brother’s death, I will come here to present a bouquet of flowers for him.” Mu Fan murmured, ”As long as I can remember, people around him say that he is a hero, a man who died on the battlefield to protect his family and the country. hero.”

”His Royal Highness Mu Yan’s sacrifice will always be remembered by us. He is the glory of the empire, Your Highness.”

”Glory, glory?”

Mu Fan turned around and laughed, silver spots appeared on his face uncontrollably, distorted and weird.

”Whether it is glory or conspiracy, we will know soon.”

He stared at the front, holding the distant star in the void, wanting to crush it in the palm of his hand.

”soon.”
