Chapter 31: Leaping in the Abyss

That night, the meeting hall of Beichen Military Academy.

The hall, which was always open only during major events, was overcrowded like a vegetable market at this time.

”Quick, quick, it’s here.”

Shen Yanwen dragged the two of them back and forth among the crowd.

”I’ve already asked Wei Ying to reserve a seat for us, don’t be robbed. Ah, we found her, Wei Ying!” Shen Yanwen waved vigorously at the girl not far away.

Seeing him jumping up and down, busy like a monkey, You Yisi really wanted to turn his face away and put on an expression that I didn’t know him. However, there were obviously more than one people around who were busy occupying seats like Shen Yanwen.

It can be seen that [-]% of the auditoriums with less than [-] seats are full, and the remaining vacant seats have also been occupied early.Even so, there are still a large number of people blocking the door, looking for an opportunity to come in.

”I didn’t expect there to be so many people.” Isolde followed behind him and said with emotion: ”When the empire holds a state meeting, there will not be so many people present.”

”The lively people are all people who came to listen.” You Yisi said, ”Didn’t you see that in the middle of the round table, none of the real people with status have attended yet?”

While talking, they found Wei Ying’s reserved seat and sat down, watching other people running around busy.

”Guess, how many of these people came to see Mu Fan, and how many came to see His Excellency the General?” You Yisi still joked leisurely.

”Half and half. Most of the people who got the news to see Mu Fan’s show were students, but the others probably came here for the admiral.” Shen Yanwen said: ”After all, since the Beichen First Fleet went on patrol, your excellency has been very interested.” It’s rare to go back to the main star, and it’s rare to see him once in a while.”

”Oh, so this time Mu Fan is so embarrassing that the admiral has to rush back here?”

”That’s not true.” Wei Ying said, ”I heard that there has been a big mobilization of the army recently. Your Excellency came back for official business. The matter of Mu Fan should be just incidental.”

A major transfer of the military system?

You Yisi thought of Bai Qing, who was frowning, and inexplicably felt that there might be some kind of connection between the two.Could it be that the Beichen galaxy, which has been silent for a hundred years, is about to usher in another bloodbath?

While he was distracted, someone stepped onto the high platform in the middle.

”Please be quiet, all the observers. The public discussion is about to start. Please don’t make loud noises and affect the order of the parliament.”

After this admonition, the auditorium gradually became quiet. After no one was talking casually, the staff nodded in satisfaction and walked to the other end of the aisle to invite the truly important figures to come on stage.

The first thing Arisi saw was Principal Wisconsin. The old man was still as energetic as the last time we met. He was obviously close to his destiny, and his body was as strong as a young man.Behind him were a few men and women who had never seen each other before, and they should be members of other school boards.

When the last person appeared on the stage, there was quite a commotion among the people on the scene.

”It’s Your Excellency the Admiral.”

Yasushi stared closely at the figure.

There is Ren Yao, the general of Beichen’s three armies, who looks like he is only [-] years old. He has a handsome appearance and strong steps when he walks.A head of light golden hair symbolizes the aristocratic lineage of the former Galactic Third Empire in his blood. But the admiral did not inherit the blue pupils of the ancient nobles. Instead, he grew a pair of black eyes. I don’t know if it has something to do with his family gene. However, this pair of black eyes is different from Yu Yimi’s. The former is reminiscent of the endless abyss of the universe, while the latter is like the twilight just at night, full of possibilities and unknowns.

The deep circles under the Admiral’s eyes indicated that he hadn’t had a good rest recently. This makes You Yisi, who sleeps soundly every day, can’t help but wipe away tears of sympathy for this distant relative.

After General You Renyao sat at the round table, he subconsciously looked around the hall for a week, especially in the direction of You Yisi, but this action made You Yisi’s heart skip a beat, and he quickly looked away.

Isolde noticed his strangeness and asked, ”What’s wrong with you?”

”Probably because I didn’t have a good rest yesterday.” You Yisi perfunctory, but he didn’t dare to look at You Renyao so blatantly. This admiral who has experienced many battles is very sensitive to the eyes of others, and Yu Yisi does not want to expose himself at this time.

On the stage, the school directors participating in the public meeting have gathered, but the resolution has not yet started. There was another commotion in the auditorium that had just quieted down.Only then did You Yisi realize that even the general had arrived, but Mu Fan hadn’t appeared yet.

”Your Highness, the second prince of Atlantis, why hasn’t he arrived yet?” Someone in the school manager questioned, ”Is he going to acquiesce in his fault and give up his admission qualification?”

”No, Your Highness doesn’t think I’m at fault.” It was his secretary Medley who answered for Mu Fan.

”Then he refused to recognize the validity of our assembly and protested by absence?”

This sentence is really heart-breaking, it is simply breaking the relationship between Mu Fan and Beichen Military Academy. The speaker was a bald middle-aged man with a judge’s badge pinned to his shoulder, and he looked at Medley with provocative eyes.

”Since His Royal Highness has obtained the admission quota of Beichen, he regards himself as a member of the school. How can he despise the effectiveness of public opinion?” The secretary replied in a nonchalant manner.

The bald judge snorted, ”Then he is taking advantage of his status to arrive later than us on purpose. Does he even ignore the admiral? Yes, he is a majestic whale shark after all...”

”Bovary.” Principal Wisconsin cleared his throat, ”The admiral doesn’t mind at all, it seems inappropriate for you to talk so much.”

The bald judge was choked up and couldn’t say anything more.At the same time, Wiscons also asked the secretary: ”Is your Highness sure to arrive?”

Medley wondered: ”His Royal Highness has tried his best to come here.”

Wisconsin said thoughtfully: ”Did he go out for something important? If the reason is reasonable, we can apply for a delay in the public discussion.”

”This...” Medley didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.Mu Fan did go to another galaxy, but it must not be made public, it is really embarrassing.

Wiscons sighed, ”In this case, let’s wait until the meeting starts. If His Highness has not arrived by then, we can only be absent from the resolution.”

Medley had nothing to say, and he was also very anxious, but Mufan hadn’t replied to his messages since the morning, and the secretary was helpless.

Ten minutes later, when the meeting time was up, Mu Fan still failed to arrive, and the public discussion started in the absence of the parties involved.

First, the clerk reports the content of the resolution to everyone.

”Candidate No. 289, Mu Fan, was judged to be deprived of his admission qualification for being suspected of using a force that endangered the safety of other candidates in the supernatural test, regardless of the safety of everyone. The reasons are as follows:...”

”My lords, please decide.”

Like a statement of guilt, after listing a few articles, the clerk stepped down.

”I am in favor of depriving the candidate Mu Fan of admission.” A female school manager raised her hand, ”He caused a riot during the test, and he has violated school discipline.”

”Secondly, Mu Fan’s age has exceeded the standard for our admission of freshmen, and he is not eligible for admission.” Another school director said.

……

There are a total of 15 people, and five people have already expressed their opinions, all of whom are in favor of deprivation.

”Atlanteans shouldn’t be enrolled in Beichen, the people of the Republic and Atlanteans cannot coexist!” The bald judge also raised his hand to speak. His words made Isolde’s face pale.

”Don’t pay attention to him.” You Yisi comforted, ”This kind of racially discriminatory guy can tell at a glance that his daily life is not satisfactory, and he is using others to vent at this time.”

Isolde nodded with a wry smile.

Next, the school directors expressed their opinions one after another, and only Wisconsin and You Renyao had no resolutions. The current number of votes is eight votes in favor of deprivation and five votes against. The headmaster and general have two votes each, and their decisions matter.

”The Beichen Military Academy has been established for nearly a thousand years, and it has come to a period of urgent reform. At this time, it is necessary to recruit more talents. His Royal Highness is not a big mistake, and admission is not necessary.” Wisconsin cast a negative vote with a smile.

Now, eight to seven, only two votes from the last general remained.

”Your Excellency!” the bald judge excitedly said, ”Please make a wise decision.”

From the beginning to the end, You Renyao didn’t say a word. It wasn’t until he was urged by the crowd that he slowly raised his hand and stretched out to the agree button on the right.

The bald judge showed a smug smile, and Masami Arima frowned slightly.

Right now!

pat!

The door of the conference hall was pushed open forcefully, and a figure broke into the hall, interrupting the final decision.

”who is it?”

”Mu Fan!”

”Why did he come here?”

”Look at him...”

Not only the auditorium, but even the directors who participated in the resolution looked at the person standing at the door dumbfounded.

It’s Mu Fan, but it’s not the Mu Fan that You Yisi usually sees.

I saw His Royal Highness’s silver hair tied up high by a black belt and hanging down behind him. What he was wearing was no longer an ordinary simple suit, but a close-fitting dress intricately embroidered with dark patterns. The dress was shaped like a military uniform, with winged ornaments on both sleeves, and the lower body was tightened. It looked heroic and a bit more chic and elegant, but it was not a common style in the Republic.

Mu Fan put one hand on the saber at his waist. Against the background of the silver-gray dress, the white gloves he was wearing made his hands look more slender.

At this time, he pressed his other hand on his chest, and nodded slightly to You Renyao.

The general stood up immediately and returned the salute.

”I have seen Your Highness.”

At the same time, other school managers also got up and saluted Mu Fan.Only then did the people in the auditorium come to their senses and hurriedly saluted.Mu Fan accepted it calmly and did not return the gift.At this moment, no one is qualified to look directly into his eyes.

Because Mu Fan’s attire at the moment shows his status as a royal family, he does not appear as a student, but as a crown prince.Even if there is Admiral Renyao, his status will be lower than him.

Crown Prince Mu Fan put down his right hand and stepped to the front of the round table. While walking, the bundled silver hair swayed slightly, leaving an ambiguous light and shadow in the air.

He glanced at everyone present, paused slightly in a corner, and quickly retracted.

There was a smile on the corner of Mu Fan’s mouth.

”I heard that someone is going to deprive me of my admission?”

Although the words were light, they hit the hearts of everyone present.

Your Highness, Prince Atlantis, you are going to get serious.
