interstellar chief prosecutor

Chapter 30: Leaping in the Abyss

For a former interstellar pirate to be the teacher of the future prosecutors, the head of the Beichen Military Academy is either too whimsical, or he must be crazy. After knowing Sardin’s identity, the students really began to be so skeptical.

Satin looked at the expressions on the faces of his companions with satisfaction, and said with a smile: ”Don’t worry, no matter what my status was before, I am just your teacher now.”

He clapped his hands to call back everyone’s attention, ”Today is the first day of school. I was supposed to arrange admission guidance for each subject for you. But due to a little accident, the other teachers are now divided and at a loss. Only I have time to take care of them.” You little bastards. Fortunately, you still have a day to breathe, and tomorrow will not be so easy.”

Satin laughed and said, ”I’m looking forward to seeing how you are tortured by the course to the point of death.”

As a former pirate, Sardin’s words were not elegant at all. Many students present frowned, but Yisi listened with great interest. At the same time, he is also full of curiosity about the devil’s lesson that Sardin said.

”But before that, you can only take the supernatural power class for a whole day. Alright, little devils, can any of you tell me now, as a candidate for a prosecutor, what’s so special about your supernatural powers? ”

Seeing that Sardin switched so quickly, many students present couldn’t react. After he asked again, someone replied cautiously: ”The supernatural abilities of prosecutors and judges focus on mental rather than physical exercise.”

”Oh, what else?” Satin asked lazily.

”Although we can also master the attack abilities of the transformation, element, and enhancement types, we are better at suppressing the opponent mentally and making the opponent work for us. Therefore, we pay attention to the forging of the spirit, which belongs to the auxiliary ability.”

”Only pay attention to the spirit? Yes, you are a group of soft little sheep. Once you can’t suppress each other, you can only wait for the slaughter, and you have to rely on your own knights to save you.”

Hearing his sarcasm, some people no longer cared about Satin’s identity, and couldn’t help saying: ”Star Law Academy pays attention to the control of the mind, is there something wrong?”

”There’s nothing wrong with it,” Satin said, ”I just don’t like it.”

He expressed his likes and dislikes so confidently that the other students who refuted were speechless.

”Since the evolution of human genes, abilities have become an indispensable part of our lives. Eating, dressing, drinking water, scientific and technological production, people’s livelihood and entertainment, and military smelting, there are abilities in any field you can imagine. ”

Satin said slowly: ”As we all know, elemental users manipulate wind, fire, water, thunder, and various natural elements, which is the most aggressive type. But can elemental users only practice attack methods? ”

”I once saw a friend with lightning powers who used his deep understanding of the spirit and soul to become an excellent psychiatrist. His electric shock therapy was widely acclaimed. Some people with enhanced powers , with both strength advantages and excellent control over the elements, he has become an excellent casting master. What makes you think that to become a prosecutor, you only need to focus on spiritual cultivation and ignore other things?”

Being questioned by Satin, everyone remained silent, including You Yisi, who also began to reflect on his previous understanding of supernatural powers. He can’t master the elements, nor can he strengthen the body or change his appearance, so Yu Yisi always thought that his abilities were only good at the spiritual field.Listening to Satin’s words now, it seems that the ability can be bypassed when it reaches a high level?

If that’s the case, he doesn’t need to be a weakling who is only protected by knights, but he really has the strength to protect himself. You know, because the students of the Star Law School have never paid attention to attack power, and their combat power is as low as five. Without the protection of knights, it is easy to be in danger, so they have always been called Princess College.

Seeing that the students started to think seriously, Satin smiled slightly after achieving his goal.

”Okay, that’s something you need to consider later. Today, in order to take care of you inexperienced brats, I’ll just give you a simple task. Don’t you claim to specialize in psychic powers? Then everyone Candidate prosecutors who are good at suppressing supernatural powers, why don’t you try to see who can suppress my spirit and control me.”

All students: ...you are kidding me.

A once-notorious interstellar pirate, a high-ranking supernatural being, let us suppress you?Generally, ability suppression can only work on people with abilities of the same level. Cross-class suppression, do you think this is a myth? You must know that if the suppression fails, the person who casts the ability will have to suffer ten times the pain of backlash!

The students felt the deep malice from the teacher.

”Class performance will be counted in your final grades.” Satin expressed his seriousness, ”Now come one by one according to the student number. The first student, let me look at the roster... Xiao Yisi!”

Unfortunately, Yisi was drawn and became the first lamb to be slaughtered.

According to the judge candidate freshmen in the next classroom, that day, they heard the wailing from the prosecutor candidate classroom, one after another, incessantly.

By the end of the day’s class, Yimi was almost lying on her stomach in the classroom. Among the 25 students, he suffered the most serious backlash and the most mental exhaustion.Others thought that it was because Yisi’s ability level was low, but the truth was that his ability level was indeed low. However, it wasn’t because the ability was too low that the backlash was exacerbated, but because he hadn’t recovered the mental power he had consumed in Mao Xing before, and he was too exhausted.

”Are you okay, can you still stand up?” Shen Yanwen, who was also very tired, asked worriedly.

”Go back first.” You Yisi waved his hand at Shen Yanwen who wanted to help him, ”I’ll just rest for a while.”

”you sure?”

You Yisi could only answer him by waving his hands, and was too lazy to speak.Shen Yanwen, who was not at ease, asked several times, until he was annoyed by You Yisi, and then he walked away step by step. After finally calming down, You Yisi lay down on the table and prepared to take a nap to recover his strength. However, he didn’t expect that he slept for more than half an hour.

”Are you going to stay here until dawn?”

A joking voice came to his ears, only to wake up You Yisi, who was sleepy. He rubbed his sleepy eyes and saw a tall figure standing in front of him.Halbert Satin, why is he still here?

”...Mr. Satin, you,” when you saw the object in the opponent’s hand, You Yisi was shocked and pressed to his chest, there was nothing there.

”How can you take my things without authorization?!” He said angrily.

Satin sneered, ”I don’t know how to defend myself when I sleep, and blame others? If you were on the battlefield, you would have died a hundred and eighty times.”

You Yisi restrained his emotions, and said slowly: ”That is an important item to me, please return it to me, Teacher Sardin.”

What Halbert Sardin was playing with was Yu Yisi’s only parental relic, You Mingqi’s prosecutor’s badge.Seeing the silver and black badge being tossed and turned between Sardin’s fingers, Yu Yimi’s heart was about to lift.

”Where did you get the prosecutor’s badge as a candidate?” Satin said, ”I’m just curious, just take it and have a look.”

”...” You Yisi gritted his teeth and remained silent, staring at Sardin’s eyes without moving.Since Sardin refused to return it, he could only take the risk of trying other methods. You Yisi focused his attention on the center of his eyebrows, concentrating on concentrating his energy, only feeling that the center of his eyebrows was getting hotter and hotter.

[Give me back the badge. 】

Satin’s movements paused for a moment, and after a while, he returned to normal, but when he looked at Yisi again, his eyes were completely different.

”You guy is really...” Satin looked at him in astonishment, ”If I hadn’t been prepared, I would have been really influenced by you. If I disagree with you, I would strike. Tsk tsk, this bad temper is exactly the same as...”

Yisi didn’t hear the next words clearly, he just felt that his brain was swollen and painful, as if it was about to explode. He tried to suppress Sardin just now, but was unsuccessful, and he was enduring ten times the backlash at this time.If it weren’t for the experience of successfully suppressing Mu Fan, and if the badge was not too important to him, he would not take this risk. But at this time, the consequences of the failed attempt made him feel like he was in hell.

Seeing him like this, Satin sighed, stretched out his fingers and rubbed Yu Yisi’s temples. The backlash suddenly eased a lot, You Yisi raised his head and looked at him in surprise.

Satin threw the badge back to him, ”Keep it well, you won’t be so lucky to be discovered by others next time.”

”You...” You Yisi was a little grateful, but also a little puzzled.

Satin is willing to help him treat the backlash, which shows that he has no malice towards him, so why take away the badge?

”Holding such a precious thing in your hand, but you don’t know how to use it.” Not intending to explain his behavior at all, Satin walked away, ”Boy, use your mental power to suppress me when you have time, why don’t you go back and figure out this matter?” The bright hall in the badge.”

It wasn’t until his figure disappeared at the door of the classroom that You Yisi gradually realized the meaning of his words.Does Satin mean that this badge has another mystery, and needs to be checked with spirit?Yasumi excitedly held the badge in his hand and checked it repeatedly. As early as after returning from the ability test, he tried to find out the secret of the badge, but he had no clue.At this time, he was instructed, and he could not wait to go back to the dormitory to try it out.

However, before he could act, another person came to the door.

”Xiao Yisi! Why are you still here?” Shen Yanwen poked his head in from the door, ”I searched a lot, but you have been sleeping in the classroom until now, are you a pig?!”

You Yisi, who is in a good mood, no longer minds his slip of the tongue, ”Looking for me, what’s the matter?”

”It’s Your Highness.” Isolde followed behind. ”Regarding the dispute over His Highness Mufan’s admission qualifications, Beichen has decided to apply to the House of Representatives for a resolution.”

”Both Houses of Representatives?”

”All professors and school directors will participate in the public meeting to decide whether to grant admission to His Royal Highness.” Isolde added: ”And we, because we were on the same team as His Highness during the test, were given the qualification to observe. The public meeting will be held at night. I want to start, so I came to you in advance.”

You Yisi couldn’t help swallowing, ”All the professors and school directors will go, that means...”

”Yes! The general will come too!” Shen Yanwen said excitedly, ”This is the first time the general has returned to school in five years. Mu Fan really has face.”

As the only military academy in Beichen, it is only natural for the school to borrow personnel from the army to teach and even cooperate with the army.As we all know, the current honorary chairman of Beichen Military Academy and a member of the board of directors of the school is the current general of the three armies of the Beichen Galaxy—You Renyao.

The same surname exists, but it is not the existence of ”Wan Xing”, but the offspring of a daughter who married ”Wan Xing” in her husband’s family back then, and the descendant of the changed surname.Counting upwards in terms of seniority, that woman is probably the younger sister of Yisi’s grandfather’s grandfather’s grandfather, in other words, Youyisi’s ancestral great-aunt.

Now, the descendant of this great-grandmother is about to appear in front of him.

You Yimi was in a complicated mood.
