Lord of the Truth

Chapter 2091 The stick and the carrot, but with a lion ”What did you just say?” Omira frowned deeply, the lines on his face tightening as if he had just heard something utterly absurd. ”Did you just say we should join you as a wing?” Omis was no better. His voice carried clear disbelief, and the atmosphere in the hall instantly grew heavier. ”Yes, whatʼs the problem with that?” Aro raised both of his hands casually, a relaxed smile spreading across his face as though the matter was completely natural. ”There are many forces that knelt before me and begged for this great opportunity. They pleaded for the honor of becoming part of my structure. But I refused them all... and eventually erased them from existence entirely.”

Bam

Omis slammed the armrest of his throne so hard that the sound echoed across the chamber. ”Are you comparing us to the random forces you fight?” His voice rose sharply. ”Do you think we are the same as those insignificant factions you wipe out at will? Have you lost your damn mind?!” ”I merely came to present my perspective and leave the final decision to you.” Aro slowly lowered his hands again and leaned back slightly, resting one arm across the side of his seat in a composed manner. His expression remained calm, almost amused. ”Surely the rumors have already reached you. They began spreading fifty years ago. It would be rather pitiful if you somehow managed to remain ignorant of them.” ”...” Omiraʼs brows tightened further. ”Are you referring to the rumors about Lord Robin?”

Fifty years earlier, Hedrick had made a formal announcement to his subordinates during the war of the Mid Sector 101.

He declared openly that he was a partner of Lord Robin, the man known across certain circles by the title Human. Hedrick stated clearly that Robin was the one standing behind the Note fleets, the support of the Shadow Swords, and the massive quantities of Pearls that seemed to appear from thin air whenever his armies required them.

Naturally, such an announcement did not remain locked behind closed doors.

Within mere hours, the information had spread across the entire sector like a storm.

Every single commander and officer who attended that meeting rushed to inform their followers. The message was repeated across fleets, armies, and star systems. It was spread deliberately as a weapon of morale, a declaration meant to strengthen their soldiersʼ confidence before the coming battles.

After all, the friend of the Cosmic Elder himself was personally supporting them.

The effect of that revelation was immediate.

The news exploded through the Soul Society and every major information network. By the end of that very day, the entire universe seemed to know who the hidden supporter behind Hedrick truly was.

The same supporter who had also been backing the Crumbled Dreams Empire and the Centennial Grave Empire.

Two powers that had appeared seemingly out of nowhere.

The mysterious patron who poured endless Pearls upon them like a river without end. The one who supplied them with Note fleets and endless numbers of epic armors that ordinary factions could only dream of obtaining.

Although Aro and Caesar themselves never publicly confirmed any of this, the rumors alone were enough to shake the balance of power.

Across countless territories, rulers who had previously resisted suddenly reconsidered their positions. Entire factions chose surrender rather than confrontation.

Thus, a new wave of submission swept through the region.

One after another, powers bent their knees before the Double Centennial Grave Empire and the Double Centennial Cradle Empire... all without a single battle being fought.

Of course, the universe had one lingering question.

Was Lord Robin merely funding these two empires with wealth and weapons the same way he supported Hedrick?

Or was he their true master?

That question remained unanswered... until now. ”Yes, of course I mean the rumors regarding His Majesty, Lord Robin.” Aro lifted his hand and pointed firmly toward his own chest. ”He is my master... and the true owner of the Double Centennial Grave Empire.” ”...”

Omis and Omira exchanged silent glances.

The meaning behind those words sank in instantly.

Oh... this was bad.

By this point, Lord Robinʼs wealth was no longer something people could argue about or speculate upon. The evidence had piled up for decades.

There was no longer any doubt.

He was unquestionably one of the richest beings in the entire universe.

Providing distant support to achieve a particular objective was one matter.

But being the actual owner behind those empires... that was something entirely different.

That meant he controlled everything.

Their armies.

Their fleets.

Their endless flow of resources.

Why would someone like that choose this sector of all places? ”It seems we are finally speaking on the same page now.” Aroʼs smile deepened slightly, satisfaction flashing across his face. ”Lord Robin was born in the Young Sector 99. You may consider that a kind of honor for yourselves.”

He leaned back comfortably before continuing. ”But it also means something else.”

His tone grew firmer. ”He will undoubtedly possess the Mid Sector 99. No permission will be requested... and none will be required.” ”What exactly do you mean by possessing the sector?” Omiraʼs voice rose slightly as he leaned forward on his throne. ”Does he think he can become a Behemoth by using the Master Law of Truth or something like that?!” ”If he wishes to establish a foothold among us, he is welcome.” Omis frowned deeply, though his voice carried a restrained tone of calculation rather than anger now. ”He already has the Specter Blood Starfield where he can settle his forces. He also possesses the Broken Sword Starfield.”

Then he slowly shook his head. ”But to claim ownership over the entire sector? That is nothing more than a very bad joke. It is impossible!” ”Nothing is impossible for His Majesty. Once he places something in his mind, it will be done.” Aro raised his voice to match theirs, his tone firm and unwavering. ”Those who choose to comply on their own will be welcomed with open arms... and those who refuse will eventually comply whether they wish to or not.” ”Are you threatening us?!” Omis could barely believe what he was hearing. His voice rose sharply as he leaned forward on his throne. ”Do you even realize who youʼre speaking to?!” ”Of course I do.” Aro nodded calmly, without the slightest hint of hesitation. ”Guardian Omis and Guardian Omira. Two great figures who guard the Minor Law of Turbulence derived from the Fundamental Path of Chaos. Your names. and achievements are well known across history. There is no doubt about your strength.”

He paused briefly before continuing. ”But...”

Aroʼs voice hardened slightly. ”Do you know the power of Lord Hedrick? Even if the two of you united your forces and fought side by side, could you truly stand in his way? Could you block his advance for long?”

He tilted his head slightly. ”And do you know Lord Human, Lord Robin, and the terrifying extent of his wealth?”

His smile returned slowly. ”Do you know how many Guardians and Monarchs he could summon with a single word if he is willing to spend some coins? How many armies could appear overnight simply because he decided to open his treasury?” .....

The twin Guardians frowned deeply, their expressions growing darker as his words sank in. ”It seems you do understand.” Aro spread his hands with a relaxed grin. ”Good.

That will make this discussion far simpler.” ”Join us as a wing.” He spoke the words slowly, emphasizing each one. ”You already know how my wings operate. Every single one of them governs itself. They maintain full autonomy over their territories, their armies, and their internal affairs. I will not take a single planet from you. I will not confiscate a single resource you currently possess.”

He leaned forward slightly. ”On the contrary... I will give.”

His voice grew heavier with promise. ”I will give until the day you yourselves ask me to stop.” ”...I will grant the Wing of Endless Chaos advantages that I have never granted to any other faction before,” Aro continued confidently. ”Your bloodlines will be improved. Your descendants will grow stronger generation after generation. We will arm you with entire Note fleets and provide you with high-level epic equipment that ordinary empires would consider priceless treasures.” He lifted one finger after another as he listed the benefits. ”We will provide you with additional minor laws derived directly from the

Fundamental Chaos Path, allowing your cultivation to advance faster and with greater stability. We will introduce you to the Fifth Cultivation Path, the same path from which I have already produced a small army that now serves under my command.”

He did not stop there. ”...I will construct living cities for you, cities that breathe and evolve alongside their inhabitants. I will place within your territories race-upgrade devices that no one in the universe has ever seen before. Your people will gain access to every invention created by Lord Human himself.”

Aro spoke rapidly now, almost as if afraid that he might forget even a single promise. ”You will gain the opportunity to meet him personally and request whatever you desire directly from him. Resources, technologies, knowledge... anything within his reach.”

He spread his arms enthusiastically. ”You will gain access to the Shadow Swords network. Information, intelligence, and covert operations that span vast distances. You will become part of a true entity that stretches across dozens of sectors.”

Then his smile widened. ”You will become part of the new cosmic order!”

The hall fell silent for a moment after those words.

Aro slowly lowered his arms and looked directly at the two Guardians. ”Is that still not enough?”

His voice softened slightly. ”I will also personally guarantee ten billion pure Pearls delivered to you every single century... in addition to everything else I just mentioned.”

The chamber became completely silent.

Even the air itself seemed to grow heavier.

Paah

Aro suddenly slapped his thigh and stood up from his seat. ”I donʼt need your answer today,” he said calmly, his tone returning to something casual. ”Take your time. Think carefully about what I have said.” He began walking toward the exit. ”What will eventually come by force...” he continued while walking, ”...is always better if it arrives peacefully, accompanied by benefits rather than destruction. Wouldnʼt you agree?” Then his expression grew serious. ”And while you consider your decision, I advise you to revisit the final part of the speech delivered by the Cosmic Elder when he publicly supported his friend, Lord Robin.”

His voice carried quiet gravity. ”We are approaching a major turning point. The universe itself is entering a steep curve. Times like these are not suitable for standing alone.”

He stopped briefly near the doorway.

Then he turned.

His expensive blue cloak swirled through the air with dignified grace as he faced them one last time. ”Oh, by the way.”

Aro paused again, as if he had just remembered something. ”I will be delivering a similar offer to the Vast Ice Millennium Empire very soon.”

His smile returned. ”And if they fail to accept it on the same day...”

His voice remained calm, but the meaning behind it was unmistakable. ”I will crush them the same way I crushed the Holfa Empire.”

He glanced back at the two Guardians with a wide grin. ”You are more than welcome to watch from afar.”

Then he turned again and continued walking toward the exit without another word.
