Lord of the Truth

Chapter 2075 Patience

Mid Sector 250--

”What is happening here..” one of the Twelve Thrones slammed his hand forcefully on the platform before him, the sound echoing across the vast chamber. ”And what in hell is happening here?! What madness is this?!”

”Can he do this to us?” another pointed sharply at the recording, his voice shaking with fury and disbelief. ”Can he simply strip the legitimacy of the Council of Thrones with a single word? With one sentence? Who does he think he is? We were the ones managing the universe, organizing its affairs, and preserving its security while he was absent. He didnʼt appear even two or three times over tens of millions of years!”

Bam another struck the platform violently. ”We must take a stance against this nonsense!” Then he pointed in a certain direction with open hostility. ”That Sacred Covenant Academy must know its place!!”

”We wonʼt allow them to conspire in the shadows and take everything we built with blood and time on a silver platter!!” another shouted, his voice filled with rage and panic.

All twelve began to rise one after another, their movements chaotic and tense, panic and fear evident in their words and tones, visible in their faces, in their gestures, in the way their bodies trembled with uncertainty.

Only Qarun slightly furrowed his brows, resting his chin on the back of his hands, his posture calm but heavy with thought. ”Shhh!” He signaled for silence with a slow gesture. ”Letʼs listen to everything first to the end.”

And indeed, in the very next moment, everyone heard something that instantly silenced the hall, as if the air itself had frozen.

The Cosmic Elder spoke with firmness and seriousness, his voice steady, cold, and absolute.

Swallow The sound of swallowing echoed through the vast hall like distant explosions. He said Qarun without titles? Without honorifics? And he said your followers? As if they were street gang members or insignificant thugs? What kind of disrespect was this? What kind of humiliation?

The Cosmic Elder paused briefly before continuing with resolve:

Then he raised his head slightly, his presence growing heavier.

Then it was as if the air around him solidified, pressure filling the space, and he said swiftly:

Then he continued slowly, every word heavy and final:

He then showed a small, powerful smile.

Then he turned away, his tone calming, but his authority remaining absolute.

Then he turned back toward the recording, his gaze steady and unshaking.

Hoooom

The recording flickered, its light distorting for a brief moment, then it fell silent, leaving only heavy, suffocating stillness behind.

The calm, composed image of the Cosmic Elder remained suspended before everyone, unmoving, steady, and imposing, standing before a vast hall filled with figures who no longer knew whether they were even capable of breathing

normally.

The silence was heavy. Suffocating.

Poof

Poof Poof Poof

Nearly half of the Twelve Thrones collapsed back into their seats, as if their legs had lost all strength, as if the weight of the words spoken had crushed their bodies before their minds could even react.

They had been accused of greed.

Declared the reason for the withdrawal of trust from the Stellar Academies.

And publicly threatened with being classified as a terrorist organization.

What had just happened?

Just minutes ago, life had been good. Stable. Predictable. Everything was moving as it should, according to the order they had built over millions of years. Power was secure. Influence was absolute. Control was unquestioned.

So why did all of this happen?

How did everything collapse so suddenly?

How did the world turn upside down in a matter of moments?

But those questions and moments of shock did not pass over everyone.

Bam One of the Thrones slammed his fist into his palm, his face twisted with

fury.

”Dogs? Are we being belittled? Are we being insulted like this in front of the whole universe?” he roared. ”That cursed hermit is mocking us?!” ”Who does he think he is?!” another shouted, his voice shaking with rage. ”We

carried the entire universe on our shoulders for all these years! We are the ones who kept the Syndicate in check! We are the ones who contained the Plague for millions of years, era after era, generation after generation! And just because of one bad period, one dark phase, weʼre treated like this?! Like

criminals?! Like parasites?!”

”The Cosmic Elder is powerful, no one can deny that,” another said, a being with strange tendrils spread across his body. His voice was cold, controlled. Then he looked around sharply at the others. ”But heʼs not without equal. He is not untouchable. No one here is weak either. Does he really think he can threaten all of us, all the Twelve Thrones, and weʼll simply bow our heads in fear?”

Then he smiled slowly.

”Secondly, there are two who are stronger than him.”

”Hmph, three choices?” one of the Thrones scoffed, crossing his arms with contempt. ”The third one pleases me more!” Then he raised his voice with confidence and arrogance. ”In terms of power, even if all the Behemoths gathered together, they couldnʼt stop us. Not even close. And in terms of wealth, even the combined fortunes of Morpheus and Interas are nothing in our eyes. Dust. Meaningless numbers.”

One of the seated Thrones pointed angrily toward Qarun, his face burning with humiliation and rage.

”Council Lord, open the vaults. Open the Vaults. Itʼs time everyone learns their place. Itʼs time the universe remembers who truly rules.”

Another turned his gaze toward the man seated at the center, his tone sharp

and resolute.

”Council Lord, what do you say?” Then he frowned deeply. ”If itʼs war, then we

are ready for it.”

”.....

Qarun maintained a perfectly emotionless expression, his face calm, his posture steady, his gaze fixed on the image of the Cosmic Elder the entire time,

as if everything around him no longer existed.

Then, finally, he smiled.

A slow, controlled smile.

He opened his mouth and said quietly, yet with absolute authority,

”Patience.”

Then he leaned back comfortably in his seat, resting with deliberate calm.

”Weʼve just been relieved of a great headache. A massive burden. Take this chance and enjoy this calm... this temporary peace.”

Then he muttered again, his eyes sharp and piercing, filled with hidden

meaning and quiet calculation, ”Patience is good.”
