Lord of the Truth

Chapter 2061 The behemothʼs insistence ”...Where is the Timari I know?” ”I donʼt understand your question, Lord Human,” the fairy asked with the same perfectly controlled, formal smile, her tone calm and neutral. ”Youʼve changed.” Robinʼs brows furrowed even more, his expression turning serious. ”I noticed it years ago, around forty years ago, actually. But since I wasnʼt doing anything big back then, I didnʼt care enough to question it. This time, though, I have to ask properly: what happened to Timari? What changed?” ”I am your assisting fairy, Lord Human,” the fairy replied smoothly. ”Have you ever requested something that I did not help you with? Have I ever failed in my duties?” ”Where is Timari?” Robin pressed, his voice firmer. ”Was she harmed because of me or something like that? Ever since the launch of the four projects, she hasnʼt come anymore. Not once.”

Then he looked at the fairy from bottom to top, studying her carefully. ”Speak freely. I know you arenʼt just soul creatures. You are conscious beings. I donʼt know your true nature or how this process truly works, but Timari is a real person, and you are too. Even if you act overly formal, even if you hide behind protocol, youʼre still real.” ”.....” The fairy stared at Robinʼs face for a long moment, her smile barely changing. ”Overly formal? It seems Timari used to forget what we were trained for and overstep her boundaries with you quite often, Lord Human.”

Then she continued calmly, her voice steady and controlled, ”Timari was not harmed. But if the elders were to learn about the way she dealt with you, she truly could be harmed. Her behavior would not be tolerated.” ”As long as she isnʼt harmed, where is she?” Robin raised a brow, then pointed toward the mirror. ”Bring her. I have something big this time, something important, and I want the real Timari” ”I can handle that upcoming deal for you, no matter how big it is,” the fairy said, pointing to herself. ”Even if you have something bigger than the four projects, something more dangerous or more valuable, I can facilitate it for you more efficiently and obtain approval in a much shorter time.” ”Sorry. Iʼll continue with the one Iʼve tested more than once,” Robin replied firmly. ”I donʼt want to build trust from zero again. Not now. Not for something this important.” ”...” The fairy nodded slowly and began to fade, her form dissolving into light. ”I canʼt promise Iʼll bring her immediately, but Iʼll try.”

In Mid Sector 500-

A young woman who looked to be in her late twenties slowly opened her eyes, then frowned in irritation, annoyance clearly spreading across her face. ”So the little brat threw protocol out the window and got one of the senior users personally attached to her? To the point where he doesnʼt want anyone else for major missions?” ”My lady, my lady,” another girl beside her hurried forward, kneeling and lowering her head to the ground. ”It seems that her highness Timari is trying to expand her authority through these actions. If he calls her for a major deal, this will place her ahead of you in the first-rank succession among the children! Her position will rise sharply.” ”Hmph!” The young woman stood up, a visible trace of anger rising on her beautiful features, her eyes burning with irritation. ”Letʼs see what Big Brother Morval has to say about this!”

She gathered her exquisite white dress and walked out into a vast corridor, her steps sharp and fast, her mood clearly storming. ”.....” Robin gently scratched his head. The fairy had vanished completely, but the soul sapling was still active, glowing softly.

Was he supposed to just stand there and wait until Timari arrived? ”Hmmm, what should I do to kill time?” Robin touched the mirror and brought up the list of shops and halls, then began flipping through them in boredom, scrolling slowly without much interest.

Social halls, news halls, mission exchange halls, and others-

Until he reached the Truth Chamber.

He stopped.

He had already caught the culprit, and the matter was over. His anger toward the Truth Chamber no longer carried any real weight... maybe he would meet decent people this time? Maybe things would be different? ”.....” Robin sighed softly, then pushed the Truth Chamber away.

If they were good, that was for themselves, and if they were bad, that was on them. If he entered as a hidden individual, the spiky-haired one and everyone else there would see him as an intruder trying to steal their missions. If he entered as Lord Human, head held high, they would think he came just to show off and dominate the place.

Either way, there was no real gain.

There was no reason to go back there.

Then, as he continued scrolling, he cast a brief, instinctive glance upward toward the balance field.

The number of digits there was massive, absurdly massive, so large that he would have to open the field itself just to read the full value.

But no... Robin lowered his eyes again. He didnʼt want to open it. He didnʼt want to know his current balance. He didnʼt want to see it at all.

He was afraid.

Afraid that once he truly saw it, he would start spending recklessly, extravagantly, without restraint, and that the strong foundations on which he had built his empire would slowly erode and collapse under uncontrolled excess. ”Heeey- letʼs just see if there are any messages.” Robin muttered, deliberately shifting his focus away from the balance. He exited the halls and began searching through the side tabs until he reached the messages section, and there he found it glowing... there were messages indeed. ”Ugh,” Robin tapped on the messages with an annoyed expression. ”Who is it this time?”

All the problems of his followers had been solved decades ago by distributing a lot, a lot of pearls among them. He had already handled shortages, crises, and complaints long ago. If someone else was asking for more now, then heʼd have to discipline them today, without hesitation. ”Hm?” Among several unread messages, Robin noticed the top one with the name Pure Kaylis. ”Kaylis!?”

Kaylis wasnʼt even on his friends list in the Soul Society, and he had never spoken to her before, not once. Her appearance at the very top of his messages only reflected the terrifying level of status that Behemoths held within society. With his current status... would the same thing happen if he sent a message to someone? Would his name alone force its way to the top of their interface? ”Hm?” Robin furrowed his brows even more. All the unread messages in front of him were from Pure Kaylis.

Not one.

Not two.

There were at least twenty of them. ”Looks like Theo doesnʼt satisfy her anymore, huh?” Robin showed a strange, crooked smile, half mocking, half amused. Then he raised his finger and tapped the last one. ”Alright, letʼs hear what youʼve got. Show me.”

In the next moment, an image appeared before him of an extremely beautiful woman with brown hair, a crown resting on her head, and a white gown intricately woven with braids of gemstones, shining softly with restrained brilliance.

The woman looked as if she were staring directly into Robinʼs eyes, her expression burning with anger and impatience:

Then she continued, her anger even sharper, her words heavier: ”Hmmm,” Robin sighed slowly, rubbing his temple. ”Why does everyone want everything that concerns them to be executed immediately, as if the entire world revolves around them alone?”

Then he began scrolling upward through the message list.

Every time he scrolled, he found Kaylisʼ name again.

And again.

And again.

More messages. More demands. More pressure. ”Has this woman gone insane?!” Robin frowned hard, irritation clearly rising. Then he looked at Kaylisʼ image for a few long moments, his expression turning cold and flat, before pressing the reply button and typing a single line:
