Chapter 312: Nyx’s Suppressed Thoughts

”And Bastet... ohhh gods, that tanned kitten of yours...” she bit down another moan, her voice trembling hopelessly. ”She serves you without hesitation. She’s bound to you, changed for you. Her body, her magic, her mind... all reshaped when she submitted to being yours completely.”

Kaiden’s movements slowed. He felt the tremble in her thighs, the tightness in her muscles, but more than that, he felt the ache in her words.

Nyx’s moans softened, mixing with a nervous giggle. ”Then... then there’s me. Little old Nyx, the Space Valkyrie. The easy one. Always smiling, always happy to play with her lover. Accommodating. Not needy. Not possessive. Just... me. The happy-go-lucky girl who doesn’t give her lover much trouble. That might sound like a positive at first, but you don’t hate dealing with your quirky lovers, do you? No, you love it all, even the headaches they cause.”

Her voice cracked again, this time not from pleasure, but from the sharp sting of her own confession. Kaiden’s finger movements kept slowing and slowing.

Nyx swallowed hard, trying to mask it with a husky laugh. ”So I thought... maybe it’s time I stepped up my game. That it’s time that I show you once and for all that I’m not just here for fun. That I’m serious about us, just as much as the others. Serious about making sure you’ve not only fallen for me...” She turned her neck back so they stared into each other’s gazes without the assistance of the mirror. The curvaceous beauty’s eyes glistened, even as her lips curved in that familiar playful smile of hers. ”...but that you keep falling deeper. Just like you do with them. I refuse to remain content with what we already have. Each new day, I want to love you deeper than I did the previous one, and I want you to experience the same exact thing, Kaiden.”

Kaiden’s finger completely stilled inside her and then withdrew. His gaze was locked on hers now, seeing the cracks beneath the smile, the weight hidden under her moans.

For the first time in the whole heated moment, the air changed. The playfulness lingered, but the emotion was undeniable. Nyx, his bright, gorgeous, and utterly beloved girlfriend, was bearing far more weight than just her body.

Kaiden moved from behind Nyx, sliding along her curves until he was pressed firmly against her side. His strong arms wrapped around her, pulling her into a deep, encompassing hug.

The sudden change in pace made her eyes widen in shock. ”W-What are you doing? Why did you stop? What I said... it doesn’t warrant this kind of... extreme response.”

But Kaiden’s voice was firm. ”It does, Nyx. You just revealed something you’ve been carrying inside you, an insecurity I never noticed. When I asked you three to walk this path with me, to join me on this insane journey as my beloved Valkyries... I promised equal treatment. But now I see it; I’ve failed.”

Nyx instantly cut him off with rushed and panicked words. ”No, no! That’s not true! I haven’t been neglected, Kai! Not once!”

But he only shook his head, hugging her tighter. ”Maybe not in body... but I made a mistake. I thought what we had was enough, because to me, you’ve already been the perfect lover. I love you so much I can’t even explain it, and I was content just being with you. But in that comfort, I stopped looking deeper. I failed to notice the battles you were fighting inside, the things you wanted but didn’t say.”

The hug around her tightened, his warmth enveloping her like a shield.

Nyx couldn’t answer him this time. Her lips trembled, but no words came out. Then slowly, her expression melted into a tender smile, and she let her weight collapse against him. Her forehead pressed to his chest, nuzzling weakly against his heartbeat. Even bound in sinful leather straps that dug into her supple body, she looked blissfully at peace.

Her eyes shimmered with tears, though the smile never left her lips.

For five long minutes, they stayed like this. Kaiden stroked her pink hair, whispering apologies she kept denying, insisting he had done nothing wrong. Yet her smile only deepened, fragile but radiant.

At last, Kaiden’s fingers moved to her restraints, loosening the buckles and straps one by one.

Nyx’s eyes snapped open in an instant. ”Wait! What the hell are you doing?!”

He blinked, startled at her animated response. ”I... thought you were no longer in the mood. Maybe we should-”

Her entire face went pale, then burned red, her eyes going wide like saucers. ”No, Kaiden Grey! Don’t you dare! I prepared my little hole just for you today! I got into this gear and this position without anyone’s help! Do you have any idea how hard it is to bind yourself with telekinesis?! It took me hours! Hours, Kai! You are not leaving me like this! You’ll ravage my asshole right here and now!!”

Kaiden froze, staring at her in disbelief. Then a bark of laughter erupted out of him. ”You’re not the needy one? Look at you now...”

He then stood up.

Nyx narrowed her eyes into fiery little slits. ”And where exactly do you think you’re going...?” A tug of invisible force pulled on his torso, her telekinesis demanding his return to her side right this instant.

But Kaiden grinned, powering through the resistance and walking toward the door. ”To shower. To prepare. If I’m going to have my first anal experience, I want it perfect. For both my partner and me. Just give me a few and I’ll ’ravage your asshole.’”

Nyx growled in frustration but eventually huffed. ”...Tch. Fine. That’s acceptable... I suppose.”

...

Nyx waited, bound in her contorted and lewd position, her heart pounding with a mix of nerves and excitement. But only a few seconds later, the door creaked open.

”Kai, you were quick! Hehe~ someone’s very eager-”

Her words froze on her tongue.

Because it wasn’t Kaiden who entered.

It was Luna.

The usually chaotic Valkyrie’s face was a perfect mask of indifference, but the silence behind her steps felt heavy, suffocating. Nyx’s playful smile faltered at once.

”Someone’s indeed very eager...” Luna murmured, her voice low and edged with an ominous grunt. It sent an involuntary shudder down Nyx’s spine. Luna never spoke like that. She wasn’t teasing right now. No, she was angry. Angry that Nyx had tried to steal ahead, to take Kaiden’s first anal experience without consulting with the others (her) about it.

Nyx’s throat bobbed nervously. ”L-Luna... Bestie, what are you doing here?”

The Valkyrie’s lips twitched, forming the faintest smile. But it wasn’t warm. It was slow, cruel, and almost sadistic. ”What am I doing? You seem very determined, Nyx. So as your friend...”

Luna’s hand moved behind her back.

”... I’ll help you succeed.”

Nyx’s eyes widened. ”W-What do you mean?!”

Her question died in her throat.

Because in Luna’s hand now was a massive, intimidating dildo.

The stoic mask she sported up until now twisted into a sadistic, cruel expression. She looked down at the bound Nyx with eyes full of dominance.

”Let’s see just how ready you really are... Bestie.”
