Chapter 305: Steamy Bath

Steam curled against the walls as the warm water shimmered with scented oils. Kaiden leaned back against the edge of the bath, communication artifact discarded after he ran away from Alice’s needy antics. Now, four pairs of eyes were on him. Some ever so slightly shy, some mischievous, some outright demanding the services of his hands.

He obliged.

”Honestly...” Luna was the first to speak, her petite frame still resting atop his lap, her small hands hugging his wrists to make sure he wouldn’t let go.

Her voice carried a little whine, but her body leaned into his every movement. ”That dungeon was insane. Everything was wrong about it... The atmosphere, the stench, the way it remade routes... it felt as if the place itself wanted to eat us alive.”

Kaiden slid the sponge down the slope of her shoulder, tracing the delicate bones of her back before sliding lower, beginning his work on the curve of her hips. ”Your feeling isn’t that outrageous... After all, halfway through the dungeon, it transitioned from having the general theme of undeath to being all about gluttony.”

He wasn’t just done speaking, however. ”You fought beautifully, my Storm Valkyrie...” he murmured with an immense amount of pride and adoration evident in his voice. ”Your storm cut through it all. And that’s not all. Not only did you do an excellent job as a combatant, but after what happened with Nyx, you quickly stopped blaming yourself and got your head back into the game. You’re amazing.”

”Hmmm...” she hummed contentedly while a shiver rushed up her spine at his words.

”My gremlin bestie is really good at adapting! She’s the group’s cockroach!” Nyx chimed in from the side, sporting a happy smile.

”Shut it.”

”Hey, I meant it positively! You’re the cutest cockroach in the world!”

”You’re lucky Kaiden is holding me back...” Luna spat through gritted teeth.

”Is he? All I see is him washing your body with a sponge! Hehe, you just don’t want to stand up and leave your throne!”

”... You are the most annoying woman on Planet Earth.”

”Thanks!”

”Time is up, isn’t it?” Aria spoke up suddenly, voice full of expectation. She might’ve asked a question, but in reality, she uttered a demand. This was further evidenced by her sharp eyes, which were resting squarely on Luna’s.

Luna met Aria’s gaze for only a moment before choosing the path of resistance. She looked away, pretending not to see the storm brewing in those sharp, predatory eyes. It was obvious the Storm Valkyrie knew her allotted time was up, but decided to ignore it.

That choice only made Aria’s eyes darker.

The Moon Valkyrie rose slowly from the water, making droplets cascade down her flawless skin.

Her figure was all perfectly sculpted lines that made her look like some untouchable runway goddess dragged away from the world and plunged into this sultry bath.

The flare of her hips was devastatingly feminine, her long silver hair was now wet, clinging to her heavenly skin, and her perky chest bounced sensually as she stood. She was the representation of almost any man’s most idealized woman, but she wasn’t content with what she was given, evidenced by the lean muscles she’d cultivated through painstaking effort in the gym.

All that is to say, she was a feminine beauty personified, who was now sharpened into something very, very dangerous.

And she was walking right toward Luna.

But before the woman could reach her target, Luna suddenly found herself displaced as her throne had betrayed her.

Or rather, Kaiden had betrayed her, lifting her with casual strength and setting her down at his side as though she weighed no more than a pillow.

Seeing his lap empty and ripe for the taking, Aria’s entire aura shifted in an instant. Murderous shadow melted into playful radiance. Her lips curved into a dazzling smile, her lashes lowering as she turned back toward him, sugary sweet. No longer a yandere princess, she became a lovestruck girl, cute and needy.

She lowered herself gracefully into Kaiden’s lap, but she did not show him her back like Luna had; instead, she elected to straddle him, chest to chest, face to face. Her delicious butt nestled itself against the length of his slowly awakening member as though it belonged there.

Kaiden reached instinctively for the sponge, but Aria’s hand shot out with the speed that one could mistake for Luna’s lightning.

She snatched the item, tossed it aside, and instead pumped a large amount of soap directly into his hands. Her eyes, gleaming with mischief and hunger for his touch, said everything without a single word: Go ahead.

Kaiden wasn’t one to complain.

His palms slid across her flawless skin, massaging the slick warmth into every line of her body. His fingers traced down her impossibly narrow waist, over the tempting curve of her hips. That perfect contrast of slim elegance and voluptuous allure nearly made him go into action right then and there.

”Tch!” Aria scoffed cutely when she realized he managed to hold back. The girl wanted to see if she could make her man forget that there were two women coming after her whom he was supposed to pay attention to...

The girl quickly got bored with seeing him touch the parts of her body that she didn’t want him to. ”We’re not making a family-friendly video, Kai... We’re not making any video at all, in fact. Stop being so reserved...~”

Not waiting for a reply, she grasped his wrists and guided them higher, pressing his soapy hands onto her breasts. She even went as far as to close his palm around them.

A low, satisfied hum escaped her lips in an instant. ”I needed to feel this sooo bad...” Her back arched against his touch, instinctively giving him even more room to do whatever he so desired with her breasts.

As she began massaging the scalp of her man, who was busy suckling on her breasts, her eyes shifted toward her friends for a moment. It was a mistake. Their image reminded the girl of the previous topic they were having.

”Right... We were talking about the dungeon and how creepy and strange it was...”

”Honestly, those are all secondary memories to me. What I remember most vividly is Vaelira being a colossal bitch. We already knew she was a nasty woman, but what she did to Leon...”

All she could do was sigh with sadness. ”Poor guy. I wonder if he had a family waiting for his return...”

”... Right,” Kaiden spoke up from between her breasts, his tongue no longer devouring her erect nipples. ”We can look into it. I don’t know if Tessa will pay his family as much as would be right. Her guild is in the deep red financially, after all. We can help a bit. Leon was the only member of Vaelira’s gang who was not a trash person.”

Aria’s lashes fluttered as her eyes misted; the earlier overwhelming lust she felt was burned away by the weight of her sorrow and relief at her lover’s words.

She let herself sink against Kaiden’s chest, her face pressing into the warmth of his skin as if she could bury the memory with his embrace. Her arms coiled around him tightly, no longer greedy for pleasure, only seeking comfort.

Kaiden stilled, his hands softening on her body, and let her cling to him. His arms found themselves clasped behind her back as he pulled the troubled girl into his embrace. He could feel the tremor in her breath, the way her voice threatened to break.

From across the steaming water, Bastet’s tone broke the silence. The radiant Felinid tilted her head, still a bit confused about how the human order worked. ”So... will Vaelira be punished?”
