Help all mankind

Chapter 42
”Huawei, our national enterprise, has been completely banned by other countries.

But why can’t we retaliate against their brand apple? ”

At the shareholders’ meeting, Mu Xin first took out two mobile phones, one Huawei and one apple.

Put them in the most prominent position. The intention is very simple. Tell a story to explain a simple truth and introduce the current situation of the industry.

”Because of the industrial chain! Apple is almost only responsible for the design of mobile phones, and all other processes from spare parts to assembly depend on the provision of the industrial chain.

China has provided almost all links in the whole industrial chain. ”

”20 years ago, there were many mobile phone brands with various selling points and unique statues, but later these enterprises were almost wiped out.

At the same time, mobile phones have also grown into a similar look, not because later brands are copying apple, but because the industrial chain is better at this style, they have no choice.

Since Apple entered China, it has reached a good cooperative and symbiotic relationship with us.

Our country provides it with an industrial chain to help it produce on a large scale. Although the media reports that the profits of the whole industrial chain are not high in this process, this choice is correct and a very wise decision. ”

In the huge conference room, the representatives of major shareholders listened carefully to the talk of the company’s CEO Mu Xin. He usually specializes in technology and has not given a speech so enthusiastically for a long time. At the same time, the representatives of shareholders also understand that there is a reason for this.

”Because the industrial chain is firmly controlled in our own hands, originally an accessory should be developed and manufactured by Apple alone, and its technology should be exclusively in our hands.

However, apple chose to outsource to the industrial chain, so this technology belongs to the industrial chain itself. Such things continue to happen. The industrial chain with China as the main body can directly complete the production of mobile phones.

Therefore, when the major old mobile phone brands in the market went bankrupt one after another, a large number of new mobile phone brands sprung up in China, but they didn’t do this business.

Oppo and vivo sell repeaters. Xiaomi’s original team is engaged in anti-virus software. Did they study all aspects of how to build mobile phones from scratch at the beginning? Of course not.

In China, now you only need to get a deposit of 5 million, so you can ask someone to help you design a mobile phone you want from beginning to end in the market, and carry out small-scale production immediately.

This is the power of the industrial chain. The industrial chain grasps all technical links. As long as you have money, you can let the industrial chain help complete anything. As long as you have orders, you can negotiate with the industrial chain. As a mobile phone brand, all you need is scale and some exclusive technologies as selling points.

Of course, the so-called exclusive technologies are not entirely self-study, and most of them are also cooperated with the industrial chain.

Why are almost all the mobile phone brands rising after Apple domestic? This is because there is a sufficient market scale in China and most of the industrial chain is in China, so it is convenient to get their help in the R & D process. ”

”Finally, a lot of new brands without manufacturing technology rose one after another to beat the old factories.”

Muxin paused for a few seconds, then lowered his voice in a low tone, slowed down and said the most important point to be expressed at the meeting,

”And this story is about to happen in the field of electric vehicles!”

”Tesla, the most troublesome opponent of our friends and businessmen, chose to set up factories in China and received various support from various units in China. In particular, it accelerated the land review and approval, and provided it with many preferential policies and financial subsidies.

You know, Tesla has been disqualified from various subsidies because of its good sales in its own country.

With the subsidies given by China, Tesla will compete with China’s local electric vehicle enterprises at a lower price.

Is such a move by the state to lead wolves into the house? On the contrary, it is also foresight.

China is also a big supply chain country, and supply chain groups should be given priority.

As long as a factory can drive the overall sales, it can feed the supply chain, no matter where it comes from.

Because in the eyes of the country, the survival and development of the supply chain is the first goal. In exchange, Tesla needs to purchase a large number of products provided by the supply chain.

The supply chain thrives along with Tesla’s sales in this process.

But the life and death of our local auto enterprises is not important compared with the supply chain! This is the future, this is the general trend.

Even if we local auto companies now hang up, as long as the domestic supply chain grows, the supply chain grasps the core technology, and the domestic huge market, countless zero base auto companies will rise.

Therefore, the survival of our old electric vehicle enterprises is really not important in the face of the general trend. ”

When the shareholder representatives heard this, their faces became serious one after another.

”Now that this is the current situation, the state has made every effort to support such a competitive foreign enterprise for the development of the supply chain.

Well, from now on, let’s treat ourselves as a new auto enterprise and see how to develop.

Tesla is also supported in exchange in China. It is not only Tesla that moves a large number of production lines to China to provide employment in China,

There is an invariable rule in the supply chain. Since Tesla can purchase from me, other manufacturers can also purchase if they want to.

But Tesla also knows this. Therefore, it attaches great importance to mastering several core technologies in its hands, one is power management, the other is automatic driving, and related chips.

Take apple as an example. Almost all its accessories come from the supply chain, and they are not the best accessories in the supply chain.

The effect of its mobile phone screen is general, the hardware of the camera is also cheap, and even the mobile phone signal is very bad.

However, it has two unique advantages. One is the user dependence and brand advantage established by the first mover.

The other is that the performance of the core processor is always leading.

Coincidentally, Tesla and apple have the most advanced chips in the industry, which are made by the same expert.

In a few years, with the growth and improvement of the supply chain group, electric vehicles will have more cruel competition like mobile phones. At that time, it is no longer how many technologies we have, but how many technologies we don’t have.

At that time, a large number of technologies in our hands will become something that can be bought at any time in the market, and only we own that part will be valuable. ”

Finally, waiting for shareholders to look forward to Muxin, he announced an important decision of the meeting.

”In short, it’s time to make a large-scale reform. After long-term market research, I announced that I would buy a technology enterprise. I can tell you in charge that they have the best driverless system in the world, which is enough to compete with Tesla’s driverless system.

But the objects of this acquisition are not small now. In order to achieve this goal, we may have to pay some price. ”
