Help all mankind

Chapter 22
It was winter at this time. The place where we agreed to meet was at the door of a pizza hut in the urban area. Su Chang waited there early and accumulated some snowflakes. Liang Shicheng thought he was late, so he apologized a little, but in fact, the agreed time has not passed, but Su Chang came early.

They haven’t seen each other for many years. At first glance, Su Chang’s face has changed a lot compared with before.

The last meeting was five years ago. That was when Liang Shicheng was the most depressed. At that time, he did not take part in the work. Because he lacked three elective courses, he did not get his graduation certificate and degree certificate. Although he was favored by a company because of his excellent ability, the company did not care about it.

But after four years of hard study, I always felt that I wanted to leave something. Therefore, I still had two nights in school every week that year.

Without a job, life was extremely difficult. It was also a winter. Similarly, Su Chang spent 12000 to buy a ticket to return home for a brief reunion with her family. On the last day, she called Liang Shicheng and invited him to McDonald’s. Su Chang knew that Liang Shicheng loved the Big Mac there most and happily announced to Liang Shicheng that she had found a job abroad, Thank Liang Shicheng for his help before.

help? Liang Shicheng’s mind was hard to use at that time. He didn’t remember helping Su Chang.

I just remember that Su Chang didn’t forget to pack a set meal for Liang Shicheng when he left. On the way home, there was heavy snow and holding a warm bag. Liang Shicheng is still unforgettable that day.

After the memory was over, the two went upstairs. Liang Shicheng asked himself to pay in advance for the same reason,

”I just got a job, too.”

Su Chang unexpectedly agreed. In her memory, she strongly advocated AA system with her character.

Liang Shicheng ordered a lot of things, while Su Chang only ordered a cup of crispy cream clam soup and two cakes.

Before the meal, they began to chat. In addition to talking about the past, they had a lot of topics.

Su Chang has a special character among her classmates. She doesn’t pursue stars and is not obsessed with flowers. She only cares about the internal quality of the people around her. She is one of Liang Shicheng’s few friends in high school.

Maybe influenced by her father, she has strong hands-on ability. When she lost her school card in high school, she directly drew a school card by hand in one day because she couldn’t stand the cumbersome replacement process. Even the photo position was drawn by herself. In this way, she was not found by the guard until she left the school.

Although he finally gave up the college entrance examination and studied abroad because he couldn’t accept repeated question brushing training, his IQ was very high.

After it seemed that all the topics that could be talked about were exhausted, the service staff finally brought up a dish, which was Su Chang’s soup.

Su Chang pointed to the bowl of crispy cream clam soup and explained why she ordered it hot,

”My present job is to study this.”

Liang Shicheng showed a puzzled expression and asked:

”Can this thing be studied?”

Su Chang smiled slightly sideways and explained:

”Although this restaurant has elegant atmosphere and decoration, it essentially provides fast food.

In its kitchen backstage, there are no unique chefs, but only some ordinary people who need to be hired temporarily and can be competent after extreme time training.

What supports all this is the central kitchen system in the supply chain. The central kitchen processes almost all the ingredients first, then packs and refrigerates them, and then sends them to all parts of the country. Until the things reach the warehouse of the restaurant, they can be brought to the customers by simply heating them. ”

Su Chang picked up Liang Shicheng’s tableware, gently poked it open with a spoon, scalded the pastry on the cup, and stained it in the cream soup,

Return the spoon to Liang Shicheng. He took the spoon and sipped it with his mouth. He felt that the taste was light and strong.

”In other words, this kind of thing is also industrialized mass production?” Liang Shicheng then asked.

Su Chang continued to stir in the scald with his spoon, supported his chin with his other hand, and continued to say:

”What’s the taste of the thick soup you just ate?

It is a classic product of the company where I work now. It is a product after repeated testing and improvement in the laboratory,

A large number of passers-by were selected for blind test, and finally decided which formula to market.

Therefore, my current work is similar to that of doing research in the laboratory. What I have to contact every day is not all kinds of fresh ingredients, but to wear rubber gloves, add various chemicals to the instrument bit by bit and measure the values.

The final result of our labor may be a small packet of white powder with extremely choking smell. It is the crystallization of the company’s technology and the way we protect our intellectual property rights.

Our company headquarters and R & D department are set up abroad, but our factories are all over the world. In order to improve production and reduce production costs, such factories will be very large, employ a large number of local people to work, and all raw materials are purchased locally.

Therefore, there is no guarantee that the production in the factory has any secrets, that is, as long as you have ideas, you can go in and learn skills at any time.

Therefore, companies overseas must have some way to stop this, that is, relying on those bagged powders, each time they produce, they only need to add a little into a huge container to change its flavor and not be imitated. ”

While talking, other dishes were brought up one after another, and Su Chang’s cake came up.

She picked up the plate containing the cake, handed it to Liang Shicheng and motioned him to eat it. Liang Shicheng dug a small corner with a spoon and ate it.

Su Chang continued:

”Well, does it feel sweet? And it’s fluffy and waxy. Of course, it’s not sticky at all, but there’s no sugar with this attribute in nature.

This cake does not contain sugar. What you just felt is a false sweetness. It is also a pure chemical substance designed and developed by man. It is hundreds of times sweeter than any dessert found in nature. It can make people feel very sweet with just a little addition.

Generally speaking, saccharin is not sugar, nor is it a concentrated sublimation version of sugar. Even the chemical structure is completely different from sugar. It is just a substance that can make you have sweet illusion.

But it also has advantages. Saccharin does not contain calories, so people can enjoy all kinds of false sweets without excessive sugar intake.

At the same time, the world itself can not support the production of so much sugar. It is because of saccharin that the world can easily consume so many sweets.

Many other flavors are also like this. Pure nature is very wasteful. They are using chemical methods to simulate the taste they need.

But I think you should be able to accept these. After all, you told me that chemicals can be harmless, but natural ones may be toxic. ”

Finally, Su Chang put the thumb of one hand against his chin, gently turned his face to one side, and jokingly added:

”You can tell your girlfriend later that you can eat the cake boldly and don’t have to worry about getting fat.”

The waiter has put everything on the table, and the topic has come to an end for the time being.

Su Chang held one side of his hair in one hand, led it behind his arm, exposed his white face on one side, lowered his head and enjoyed the bowl of crispy cream clam soup and a plate of cake.

Liang Shicheng moved his position, suddenly felt that there was a hard object in his pocket and rubbed himself, and instinctively worried about whether he broke it.

But it was all superfluous worry. He suddenly remembered another important thing. The package sent by De Beers company had not been opened to have a look,

So he took out the crushed package from his pants pocket, couldn’t wait to violently unpack it, and then saw something similar to a diamond.

After the thing was completely taken out, Liang Shicheng put it in his hand. The first thing he saw was a glittering transparent diamond like object. Not only that, he also attached a ring seat to firmly fix it on it. Liang Shicheng immediately understood that this was the super glass sample he sent.

I went there and made it into this shape. It’s really De Beers’s style. Not only that, but also a ring. What’s the matter! Liang Shicheng reluctantly make complaints about it in his heart.

At this time, Su Chang raised his head and found that the thing Liang Shicheng was holding in his hand was inlaid with a ”diamond” of a full 50 carat size on a ring with exquisite lines.

She opened her mouth slightly, and her face turned from elegance and tranquility to surprise and hesitation,

”Liang Shicheng, you, you, what do you want to do.”
