Help all mankind

Chapter 9
Because he had to face a male colleague this time, Liang Shicheng didn’t have to be nervous or beat around the bush. He directly wrote what he wanted to say on paper and handed it to Tang Zhen himself.

”I’ve noticed you for a long time and feel that you have something different.

It seems that you can always easily concentrate on your work. I’d like to ask you for some experience.

In addition, why do you always close your eyes? ”

Unexpectedly, Tang Zhen was very straightforward. After reading the letter, he didn’t change his face and smiled at the corners of his mouth. Then he went straight to Liang Shicheng’s office and asked him to go downstairs for lunch.

Originally, Liang Shicheng planned to spend some time developing personal relations with him, but he seemed very easy to get along with.

It was still the cafeteria. Tang Zhen took a look at the dishes, picked up the clip, closed his eyes, and then began to clip the dishes.

Finally, he chose several vegetables, several pieces of dried beans, bean tendons and a spoonful of Mapo Tofu.

The restaurant owner looked at him, looked at Liang Shicheng, and then said, ”your employees really don’t like meat.”

They took their own dishes, found a seat and sat down.

Tang Zhen still closed his eyes and opened the door to the mountain road:

”First answer your question. I have eye disease, so I was sent to Longquan Temple when I was very young.

My eyes are prone to high intraocular pressure. I can only open them for 6 hours a day. Therefore, except working in front of the computer, I will close my eyes whenever I have the opportunity.

As for work, it has something to do with my experience in Longquan Temple. It’s a blessing in disguise. I’ve been practicing there before I became a programmer. ”

Although Tang is really a very modest person, he is also an unknown person in the company. Although his legendary history can not be used to show off, it is an experience he is proud of.

When Liang Shicheng said he noticed his difference and wanted to inquire, Tang Zhen’s first feeling was that he met like-minded people. At the same time, he naturally understood that what Liang Shicheng wanted to ask was how to improve his concentration.

Hearing this, Liang Shicheng couldn’t help feeling that if God closed a door for you, he would open a window for you, but why didn’t he do such a good thing? He not only closed the door, but also welded the window.

Liang Shicheng was also entangled by various problems since he was a child. His body has been very weak, and his head has a problem, but none of the attributes he can see now is prominent.

Then Tang Zhen closed his eyes, crossed his legs and began to introduce Liang Shicheng to some knowledge of Buddhist practice, meditation, mindfulness and inner outlook······

Liang Shicheng interrupted half of the time, hoping that Tang Zhen could give some practical skills directly.

Tang Zhen said that he was in a hurry to practice. If he wanted to succeed quickly, he had to rely on his understanding, and no matter how, he had to finish learning theoretical knowledge first. This was not something that could be done in one day or two.

Liang Shicheng refused to let go, so Tang Zhen proposed to play a game with him,

”The rule of the game is to close your eyes and do only one thing, that is, don’t think of the white bear.

You put your hand in my palm. If you accidentally think of a white bear and the shadow of a white bear appears in your mind, click on my palm. ”

Then the game began. Liang Shicheng, who tried not to think about the white bear, was quickly occupied by the white bear in his mind. Finally, after a short struggle, his fingers knocked in Tang Zhen’s palm like a telegram, causing passers-by to be confused.

”Do you have a way not to miss the white bear?” Liang Shicheng asked slightly tired after the tension just now.

Tang Zhen remained calm and nodded after smiling,

”It seems that you are honest.”

Through this game, Tang Zhen initially tested Xia Liang’s sincere skills and found that his foundation was very weak, but this was actually a good thing.

In Tang Zhen’s impression, practice is often the worse performance at the beginning, the more things you can understand, and the faster progress in the later stage.

He thought Liang Shicheng was a plastic talent and so modest, so Tang Zhen put down his body and spoke slowly,

”Since you don’t have any theoretical knowledge and want to fight quickly, let me teach you this trick.

You close your eyes, and then this time you just pay attention to your breathing. You don’t do anything else, just do one thing, that is, pay attention to your breathing. ”

Liang Shicheng did it carefully, but in less than 10 seconds, his attention instinctively shifted to other places. He carefully focused on breathing again.

But he couldn’t hold on for a long time and thought about other things. Sometimes for dozens of seconds, he would forget the task of observing breathing assigned by Tang Zhen and wander for a while until he forgot why he closed his eyes.

Then he opened his eyes and saw that Tang Zhencai remembered what he wanted to do again. There is always a mysterious force that makes Liang Shicheng unable to focus on observing his breathing, but he still lost and fought repeatedly for more than 10 minutes.

The last time I opened my eyes, I took out my mobile phone and observed my attribute. The attribute value of concentration increased, but not much.

Liang Shicheng wanted to ask for more skills, but Tang Zhen refused because he didn’t have enough time at noon.

Finally, Tang Zhen reminded:

”You are just a novice now. I suggest you try to find a suitable occasion to practice this.

Find a quiet, warm space and an undisturbed time, and then sit down in a comfortable and alert posture.

Just doing this exercise is enough to train for a long time, but don’t be impatient for quick success and instant benefit, or you will be possessed by demons, but don’t worry. I can save you at that time.

Besides, when you get familiar with this first, I’ll teach you something else. ”

Then they separated in the cafeteria.

Liang Shicheng returned to his jurisdiction and pretended to be mysterious to announce a good news to the employees.

”In addition to the afternoon tea time, I’m going to give you a five minute time to close your eyes and refresh yourself every hour, but during this period, you have to do one thing according to my instructions.”

Then he repeated what Tang Zhen taught him to his employees.

However, after an afternoon of intermittent attempts, the employees are similar to Liang Shicheng. Although the attribute value of concentration has improved, it has not increased too much, and finally stops at a certain point. No matter how they practice that skill again and again, it will not improve.

Sure enough, Rome wasn’t built in a day. It seems that you can learn a lot from Tang Zhen in the future.

An outdoor expert like Tang Zhen usually doesn’t attract the special attention of the people around him, but because Liang Shicheng can see the attribute values of others, he can find them from the crowd immediately.

Liang Shicheng looked at the attribute values on the employees’ heads. The average work efficiency has been close to 50%. Except for the concentration, other attributes are very high, which is almost his limit. Since the concentration attribute has been difficult to improve, the next way is to find ways to maintain the remaining three attributes to more.

Because of the five minute activity of closing their eyes and refreshing themselves every day, the awareness of the employees has increased slightly, but the average is still less than 70%. It seems that there is still room for optimization.

During the day, the average blood glucose content fluctuates around 80%, but this value can be close to 100%, as long as you drink drinks fast enough and drink less each time.

So that day, Liang Shicheng completely put down his work. Relying on his ability to see other people’s real-time attributes, he began to supervise employees to drink drinks in turn. When he saw who had a low blood sugar content, he immediately went to remind them and shuttled through the crowd.

After a hard day, Liang Shicheng announced the last good news,

”Everyone has worked hard today. In order to repay you, I announce that you can wake up naturally and come back to work tomorrow morning. I won’t blame you for reporting at any time. As long as you wake up naturally and keep a good state.”

The next day, the people’s consciousness improved a little. Liang Shicheng shuttled through the crowd again like yesterday and reminded everyone to drink drinks to supplement blood sugar in time. On this day, the average work efficiency of the employees exceeded 50%.

Liang Shicheng completed the task of the system and received a reward of 30 points. He can exchange the dream diamond at any time.

At this time, the leaders of the Department came.

PS it is very popular in high-tech companies to improve employees’ concentration and work efficiency through practice.

One of the most famous is jobs and his mentor monk Hirofumi Ishikawa. Google headquarters has a special meditation room and organizes employees to meditate collectively.
