Becoming Their Guiding Spirit

# Chapter 61: Lucas Reeve: There shouldn’t be a part for me this time, right? ”Ah! It’s Lady Liskarm!!”

”Lady Liskarm has come to save us!!!”

With Liskarm’s sudden appearance, that world-shaking punch carrying immense power instantly dispelled the fear in the hearts of the ordinary people who were fleeing.

Some of the bolder ones even stopped running and turned around to cheer for Liskarm.

And when the dust in the center settled.

In the dream, Liskarm’s figure was revealed to them.

”Huh?!”

”???”

Question marks flashed over their heads, and even their eyes turned into big question marks at that moment.

Jessica hesitated: ”This... is this Senior Liskarm? So.. so cool...”

Lucas Reeve: ”So tall?”

Franka: ”So big?”

The dream Liskarm was quite different from the real Liskarm.

Or rather.

Only Franka’s dream self had the exact same appearance and figure as her real self. After all, Franka’s figure was practically perfect and didn’t need any adjustments.

In reality, Liskarm was about 156 cm tall. Although she was a Vouivre, her body was relatively small and slender by nature, making her shorter than a normal Vouivre female. Moreover, her physical stats were initially weaker not only compared to other Vouivres but also to other races.

But in the dream.

Liskarm was a good 180 cm tall. Although she was wearing combat gear, it couldn’t hide her muscular physique. Being a girl, she wasn’t as ridiculously built as a bodybuilder, but her muscles were much stronger than an ordinary person’s.

Her face was also thinner than the real Liskarm, with less cuteness and more coolness. Her short, light blue hair and the sharp dragon horns on both sides gave her an androgynous beauty.

Of course.

The biggest change was her chest...

Although the real Liskarm’s chest wasn’t small, it was nothing compared to Franka’s massive ones.

Therefore.

In the dream.

Liskarm reflexively nerfed Franka and buffed herself.

This was more or less motivated by some personal feelings.

After one-shotting a person with a domineering punch.

The power of the thunder wrapped around Liskarm’s body didn’t diminish at all. At this moment, she was like the god of thunder descended, and the dragon horns next to her head constantly flickered with blue lightning.

Instantly...

Liskarm turned into a flash of lightning and charged into the crowd, like an undefeated god of war.

”.....”

”So, this is how awesome Liskarmy sees herself?”

Franka muttered to herself.

Compared to the first two, Liskarm’s dream was clearly not as socially fatal. This was because the small town where Liskarm’s hometown was located was originally near a mining mountain and was often harassed by nearby bandits and mercenaries. And in the dream, the weak Vouivre girl who had once left the small town had become the guardian deity of the entire town.

This was not only Liskarm’s dream but also her ambition.

To protect her hometown...

Finally, a normal dream, and it seems I don’t have a part in it.

Lucas Reeve breathed a sigh of relief.

Franka was a little disappointed. After experiencing a huge wave of social death, she had originally wanted to enjoy Liskarm’s drama to share some of her own social death burden, but unexpectedly... Liskarm’s drama wasn’t juicy at all..

What a pity.

As expected..

The dreams of ’honor students’ are always very reliable...

It’s hard to find any dirt on them.

”Liskarm’s physique reminds me of a Vouivre from Rhine Lab next door...”

Franka said, remembering something.

”Who?”

”The director of Rhine Lab’s Defense Division, Miss Saria. Like Liskarm, she’s also a Vouivre, but they have different fates. Liskarm was born weak, short, and not very strong. It was difficult for her to become a mercenary back then. She had to work hard for a long time to gain her current strength.”

”But that Director Saria truly embodies the characteristics of the Vouivre race to the fullest. Of course, that director is also the person Liskarm looks up to, which is why she even used her fists directly in the dream, instead of her usual pistol.”

”Oh~~”

I didn’t expect Senior Liskarm to have such hardships? I never would have guessed. So such a reliable senior was once just like me, feeling inferior and weak...

”Is that Director Saria very strong?”

Jessica asked.

”Very strong...”

Franka answered without hesitation.

”Compared to you, Senior Franka....”

”She’s much, much, much stronger than me.”

Jessica was even a little surprised. She didn’t expect her senior, who was usually so confident in her own strength, to answer so decisively.

”Although I’ve never fought that director, I feel like she could probably wipe the floor with me... I estimate that even the strongest mercenaries in our company are probably no match for that director. I’m actually looking forward to fighting her....”

While the three were chatting on the side.

Liskarm had already defeated all the enemies on her own.

Just as Lucas Reeve was about to wake Liskarm up.

Suddenly.

The dream Franka desperately grabbed Liskarm’s long leg and cried out pitifully.

”Lady Liskarm! Lady Liskarm, please take us sisters in. That person will kill me!!”

Franka cried miserably.

And the real Franka’s face had completely darkened. She covered her face, her toes scraping the ground in shame. Her image in Liskarm’s dream was just too... pathetic... and utterly pathetic at that...

So...

In Liskarmy’s dream, this is what I look like!! Boohoohoo~~ How could you!!

Lucas Reeve slowly commented from the side.

”Come on, you two are two of a kind. In your dream, wasn’t Liskarm your bodyguard...”

As expected of close frenemies, they didn’t forget to belittle each other even in their dreams.

Luckily, he didn’t have any part in Liskarm’s dream.

Lucas Reeve nodded in satisfaction.

On the other side.

The dream Liskarm frowned.

”That person?”

She was about to ask for details.

However, just as she said that.

A figure descended from the sky like a meteorite, smashing a huge crater in the ground. Dust flew everywhere, and the ground shook.

The Franka and Jessica who were grabbing Liskarm’s leg were so scared that their legs went weak and they sat on the ground, their small faces filled with nothing but panic.

”He’s here!! He’s here!!!”

A very rough and arrogant voice came from within the dust.

”Isn’t this Miss Liskarm, the boss of Raiden Security Company? My subordinates died at your hands just now because they were incompetent, but could you please return my two ’kittens’ to me? They stole something of mine, and I need to punish them properly.”

At this moment.

Lucas Reeve had a very ominous premonition.

The dust settled.

A very burly figure appeared before everyone.

”....”

Lucas Reeve’s eyes widened, and his jaw nearly dropped.

And after a moment of silence, Franka and Jessica burst out laughing.

”Holy crap!! That’s Lucas!!”

”Mr. Reeve looks a bit strange in Senior Liskarm’s dream....”

At this moment.

The final BOSS of Liskarm’s dream, Lucas Reeve, walked out. And his appearance was completely different from the handsome real Lucas Reeve. He was covered in an almost ridiculous amount of muscle, and his features were severely JoJo-fied.
