Becoming Their Guiding Spirit

# Chapter 56: Franka, the Heiress of Raythean Industries Jessica held her necklace tightly in one hand.

When Lucas Reeve entered Franka’s body, Jessica felt her soul become light and airy, as if her hand was being held and she was being pulled into a whole new world.

When Jessica opened her eyes again.

The pitch-black, chilling cave where her body was located had disappeared, replaced by a bustling city. The streets were filled with traffic, and countless reporters carrying cameras were searching for their positions, constantly taking pictures of the beautiful celebrities around them. Outside, a large crowd of fans was gathered, leaning on the railings and constantly shouting, their posture identical to the [zombies] in movies leaning on railings and reaching out their hands.

The level of frenzy far surpassed that of Miss Sora’s concerts.

”Where is this?”

”Where’s Franka?”

Lucas Reeve blended into the crowd, looking around, trying to find any trace of Franka, but he couldn’t.

He held Jessica’s hand without letting go, which made her face flush red. Since meeting Lucas Reeve, this was the first time she had any real physical contact with him. Although she instinctively resisted at first due to nervousness or never having been so intimate with a male before, after a while... this resistance turned into warmth, rippling through Jessica’s heart. Her body felt warm, and her head felt fuzzy.

Jessica no longer had the mind to observe her surroundings; her attention was completely focused on the sensation of Lucas Reeve’s hand.

Oof~

Jessica turned into a steam engine again, white smoke puffing endlessly from the top of her head.

Hearing Lucas Reeve’s words.

Only then did Jessica raise her head and look around nervously.

”Um... I think I’ve been here before. It’s the venue for a very famous awards ceremony in the capital of Columbia.”

Jessica pointed to the red carpet not far away, the many noble men and women striking poses around it, and the constantly flashing lights of the cameras.

”I remember... I wasn’t very old at the time.. After watching a movie, I really liked one of the lead actresses. Then, for one of my birthdays, my father had that star come over to celebrate with me. Afterwards, the actress invited me to this red carpet event. I think she even won some kind of best actress award that year...”

”Uh.....”

Jessica’s tone sounded very calm, as if she were narrating something insignificant.

Is this what it’s like to be the heiress of a top conglomerate?

As the two were searching for Franka.

Suddenly.

The crowd in the distance became noisy. A stretch limousine perfectly parked its rear door right at the red carpet.

With the appearance of the luxury car.

The fans outside the venue instantly exploded like water droplets in boiling oil, their cheers crashing like a tidal wave.

”Ahhhhh!!”

”Franka!! Franka!!! Franka!!!”

”Huh?!!”

”???”

Lucas Reeve and Jessica had countless question marks flashing over their heads.

Well, I’ll be damned.

In Jessica’s dream, she became Blacksteel Worldwide’s strongest elite Operator, so Franka, an elite Operator from Blacksteel Worldwide, wouldn’t have become a celebrity, would she?

As Lucas Reeve was thinking.

The driver’s door of the stretch limo opened, and a Vouivre woman in a suit, exuding a cool and heroic aura, respectfully got out, bowed her head slightly, and opened the rear door.

”That’s!! Senior Liskarm!! Senior Liskarm has become a chauffeur!!!”

”....”

Lucas Reeve didn’t say a word, looking on like he was just here for the drama.

Hopefully, the drama wouldn’t turn on him. It was normal for Jessica to have him in her dream since they were close, but Franka probably wouldn’t.

The rear door opened.

The first thing that entered everyone’s view was a pair of long legs more flawless than any jade.

Just those legs alone were enough to make almost every man present stand there in a daze. Then, a tall figure, with Liskarm’s gentlemanly assistance, stepped out of the car.

Franka...

Her makeup at this moment was incredibly exquisite, her orange hair was styled up nobly, highlighting an unparalleled air of aristocracy and elegance.

She wore a gorgeous long gown, which seemed to be custom-made, clinging tightly to Franka’s proud curves. It was even inlaid with expensive diamonds in various places. At the same time, the moment Franka appeared, all the spotlights that had been scattered on other celebrities instantly converged on her.

Click, clack...

The cameras flashed non-stop.

Franka’s every move was elegant, any pose she struck could grace the cover of Columbia’s most fashionable magazine. The diamond ring on her finger, bigger than a pigeon’s egg, was dazzling under the constant flashing lights.

”This... is this Franka?”

Lucas Reeve’s confusion, however, drew some scorn from a nearby fan.

”I can’t believe there’s someone who doesn’t recognize Miss Franka, the brightest [Superstar] in Columbia and even all of Terra. Not only has Miss Franka won the O-scar for Best Actress for several consecutive years, but she has also held the title of Terra’s Best Female Singer for many years since her debut....”

”Moreover, our Miss Franka is also the young lady of Raythean Industries. You know Raythean Industries, right? The largest corporation in the world, the true richest in Columbia, and even the richest in all of Terra. Our Miss Franka is the noblest woman in Terra... I wonder what kind of outstanding man could marry Miss Franka. Such a man probably doesn’t exist.”

Lucas Reeve: ”????”

Jessica: ”????”

Lucas Reeve leaned over to Jessica’s ear and whispered.

”As the real heiress of Raythean Industries, Jessica, what are your thoughts?”
