I am God LSLCCF

Chapter 229: The Blood Progenitor and the Contaminated Trilobite Seed

The snake people interpreted the changes in the sky as a divine revelation.

The blood-red sky and moon clearly represented an ominous sign.

The current city lord of the City of Fire Protection and the Fire Guardians gazed at the sky in terror. The dark red moon loomed like a huge, sinister eye watching over the earth, foreshadowing a catastrophe of blood and fire about to befall the entire world.

“What is this?”

“Is something terrible about to happen?”

The snake people with abilities guarding the altar and bonfire were also terribly frightened. Large groups of snake people gathered here, as only light could dispel the uneasiness and fear in people’s hearts in the dark night.

However, the bonfire on the altar gradually grew smaller, and the fire demons guarding the altar fire now trembled under the dark red moon in the sky.

This power and aura stirred awake images from their bloodline memories.

In a distant era long ago, there was a race that drove and enslaved them, and this race even gave birth to beings that transcended mortals.

They wielded power capable of destroying everything and were strong ones who had glimpsed immortality.
Under their conflicts, the Trilobite people fell from their peak.

The snake people gathered in panic beneath the altar, everyone chattering about their own views.

Some believed it was a divine oracle, others said it was an ominous sign.

Some even claimed that the Fire Guardians had angered God by hunting a strange monster a few days ago, suggesting that the monster might have been God’s pet.

The final conclusion reached by the group of snake people was to make an offering to God.

However, before they could discuss the details, the blood color in the sky and the waves in the sea gradually receded.

The clouds and moon returned to normal.

At the bottom of the sea, that huge red crystal was continuously melting, the thick blood deeply merging into that ancient lonely island. This ancient island seemed to have turned into a terrifying monster, revealing a frightening vitality and life rhythm.

The former Island of Mist transformed into a vast expanse of dark red anomaly.

Everything on it looked almost the same as reality from afar, but upon closer inspection, one would find densely packed blood vessels in the soil, with blood threads crisscrossing the walls and buildings.

It looked as if it were made of flesh and blood.

In the ruins, flesh and blood writhed, forming threads of blood that rose from the ground and intertwined.

Blood-colored mist-like substance spread from the seabed, surrounding this ancient ruin.

The Sun Cups, contaminated by the power of Life Ability into a blood color, swayed at the edge of the island. These mist-like substances were emitted by them.

They were no longer Sun Cups; perhaps it would be more appropriate to call them Blood Mist Cups.

When the Blood Mist Cups opened their flower cups, their mouths were full of fangs and sharp teeth, revealing a madness that seemed ready to devour people.

The collapsed lighthouse at the outermost edge was restored, and even the top of the tower lit up with a dark red light.

That light penetrated the seabed, attracting some creatures from the darkness, but as these sea creatures approached this island, they were devoured by the blood mist at the edge of the island. Terrifying chewing sounds could be heard in the darkness.

The collapsed buildings and ritual workshops were restored to their original form, and a massive, magnificent ancient castle arose from the flesh and blood. Although the style was identical to before, the color appeared somewhat gloomy and terrifying due to the dark red hue.

Everything from the past was recreated one by one.

The ruins transformed into an ancient town, the place where the priests and apprentices of the Temple of Truth once lived.

This relic exuded an air of desolation and antiquity everywhere. Even though most of it was completely restored, it gave people a sense of a broken ruin, as if it had been completely abandoned by people and time.

At the bottom of the sea.

An ancient city emerged, like ruins.

Finally, it came to the center of everything.

The ancient temple was pieced together, and the seat at the deepest part was devoured by the blood color, turning into a throne of flesh and blood.

The being on the throne of flesh and blood had awakened.

Her blood-red long hair twisted like snakes, and her eyes opened to reveal a pair of peculiar pupils.

One pupil emitted an intense silver light, while the other pupil was dark green in color, which was the original color of her eyes.

“Hmm?”

She felt her brain was in a fog, and she had no knowledge of her surroundings.

She didn’t know why she woke up sitting on this throne of flesh and blood, nor did she know what everything around her was.

But moments after waking up, she covered her eyes.

That Eye of True Knowledge deeply embedded in her eye.

“Where is this?”

“Who am I?”

She suddenly spoke in the language of the Trilobite people, the sound echoing at the bottom of the earth, stirring up layers of ripples.

It was as if a terrifying giant beast was roaring at the bottom of the sea.

She seemed to recall something, and a strong sense of urgency surged in her mind.

“I have something to do, something very important.”

“I must do it immediately.”

“I must complete it.”

She kept repeating these words over and over, as if another her from the past had deeply planted this obsession in her mind, an obsession she refused to forget even after countless years, even after reincarnating again and again.

Some broken, fragmented, and scattered memories flooded into her mind, most of which were about the language of the Trilobite people and an introduction to this race, some were about information on the Seed of the Trilobite, and then explanations about the Scarlet Apostle clan.

“Trilobite people…”

“That’s right, I want to revive the Trilobite race, to make our race reappear in this world.”

“I want to make the Yinsai Kingdom eternal, to make our civilization an immortal civilization.”

“The Yinsai Kingdom?”

“Who is Yinsai?”

She remembered the name of the Yinsai Kingdom, knowing it meant the kingdom that believed in Yinsai.

However, she had long forgotten Yinsai’s identity as a deity.

Information continuously flowed into her mind through her eyes, telling her what the Trilobite people were.

It told her how to use the power of the Seed of the Trilobite to make the Trilobite race reappear on earth, and also told her what the Scarlet Apostles of Life Ability were, letting her know how to use her own power.

She accepted this information without any resistance, but didn’t notice that the light emanating from her right eye was growing dimmer and dimmer.

The jewel-like crystal made a crisp sound.

“Crack!”

Before all the information could be transmitted, this divine artifact emitting light shattered.

Like this island, like those mutated Sun Cups.

The Eye of True Knowledge had also been continuously eroded by the power of Life Ability over millions of years.

It was fine when it was in a sealed state and not used, but now that it was activated, it immediately caused this divine artifact to suffer from the conflict of two powers, instantly turning to nothing.

The information transfer stopped immediately, and one by one, ghost bodies rushed out from the Eye of True Knowledge, surrounding her face.

The ghosts opened their mouths and shouted loudly at her.

Through the power of Wisdom Ability.

“You’re awake.”

“You’re finally awake.”

“Vivien… Vivien… Vivien… Vivien…” Hundreds and thousands of people called out this name, pouring into her mind simultaneously.

“The Temple of Truth is eternal… The Yinsai Kingdom lives on…” The ghosts shouted their obsessions loudly, which were their strongest desires before becoming ghosts.

But upon closer inspection, one would find that these ghosts were merely repeating their past based on memories.

Their true selves had died long ago in that God-Forsaken Era over two hundred million years ago, leaving behind only an illusory shadow.

Even these shadows could no longer be preserved.

Having lost the divine artifact that housed them, these ghosts were about to dissipate into particles of light.

The being on the blood throne immediately became incredibly agitated. She reached out her hands, desperately trying to gather the dispersing ghost bodies, crying out loudly.

“No!”

“Don’t go.”

Her intense emotions caused the earth to tremble, and giant waves rolled across the sea.

She possessed the power to instantly annihilate all life in the surrounding seabed, causing a terrifying catastrophe, yet this destructive force was powerless to prevent the ghosts from fading away.

In fact, the more she exerted this power, the faster the ghosts vanished.

Although both Life Ability and Wisdom Ability originated from Yinsai’s primal force, they had always been in opposition and conflict since the moment they descended to the mortal world.

She had a vague understanding of these ghosts’ purpose, despite not receiving all the information.

These were once the most exceptional among the Trilobite people. After death, they willingly became ghosts, transforming into the legacy of the Yinsai Kingdom and the Trilobite people.

They sacrificed themselves to ensure that the ancient Trilobite race would reappear on earth.

They were the key to rebuilding the Yinsai civilization.

She stood up from the blood throne, truly anxious now.

At this moment, she realized she was holding something in her arms.

The Seed of the Trilobite.

She had just received information about how to use this object. It was meant to store life samples of the Trilobite people, and could also store memories and other things.

Of course, in terms of passing down knowledge, it couldn’t compare to the Eye of True Knowledge. Two hundred million years ago, the Trilobite people’s plan was to separate the two: one to store the seeds of life, and the other to store the inheritance of knowledge.

But now she couldn’t make such a clear distinction. She raised the Seed of the Trilobite high.

“Come in!”

The power of Wisdom Ability slowly dissipated from the ghosts’ bodies.

One by one, the illusory light bodies merged into the Seed of the Trilobite. The light of wisdom dispersed, but all their memories were preserved within this Seed of the Trilobite.

They fused with the different types of Trilobite bloodlines, completely merging with the Seed of the Trilobite.

One day, when the bloodlines stored in this Seed of the Trilobite regenerate and form new intelligent life, these people would reawaken with these memories.

Although this method couldn’t be called resurrection, it was enough for the mythical being on the blood throne.

At least she hadn’t lost the legacy of the Trilobite people, hadn’t lost that brilliant light of civilization from the earth two hundred million years ago.

“Phew!”

She breathed a sigh of relief.

Then, she looked at the Seed of the Trilobite in her arms, carefully examining this object.

She was ready to activate this seed immediately, to make the Trilobite race reappear in this world.

A voice in her mind seemed to urge her on relentlessly.

But she noticed something strange. According to the recorded information, the Seed of the Trilobite should be a silver ovoid.

However, what was before her now…

Was unmistakably a blood-red ovoid.

“This isn’t right.”

“It’s not supposed to be this color.”

She didn’t quite understand what problem this change might cause, but she decided to create the first Trilobite person first and worry about it later—

This was once the Temple of Truth, now transformed into an underwater palace with strange and ancient colors.

In the depths of the palace.

A terrifying being exuding the aura of a giant monster sat on the blood throne, overlooking her domain and kingdom.

In the center of the palace appeared a blood-flesh altar that looked like a honeycomb.

The figure on the blood throne stood up, channeling her power.

She had been preparing for a long time, following exactly the inherited knowledge she had received to perform the ritual for creating Trilobite people.

Everything was now in place.

She said with some anticipation: “The most ancient wise species, the protagonists of the previous era.”

“In this age… return!”

A seed of life fell from the Seed of the Trilobite, gradually descending into the honeycomb-shaped blood-flesh altar.

A slightly reddish egg emerged from the altar, gently caught by the writhing stone slabs on the ground.

Soon after, a strange insect crawled out of the egg.

The figure on the blood throne extended her hand towards the insect.

“Come to me.”

The stone slabs on the ground moved like a carpet, pushing the insect bit by bit towards the blood throne.

She carefully embraced it.

The being in her arms was a Trilobite person in infant form.

According to the recorded method, it should soon be able to transform into a child-like humanoid form, then into a youth, and finally an adult.

In their infant stage, they couldn’t leave the water and needed careful nurturing. Once they reached adulthood, they could roam freely on land, creating miracles among their kind with their wisdom.

This was what the received information had told her.

She held this insect, which would appear ugly and frightening to ordinary people, but she felt no such aversion.

She found this form very familiar and nostalgic.

“Hey.”

“You need to grow up quickly!”

“You need to wake up soon.”

She was eager to see this Trilobite person grow up and to converse with it.

She not only looked forward to the reappearance of the Trilobite people and the Yinsai civilization, but she also had many questions she wanted to ask based on the awakened memories.

As her power began to probe whether it was healthy, she immediately discovered a problem.

There was not a single spark of wisdom in its consciousness.

She finally realized what was wrong.

This wasn’t a Trilobite person at all, just a mindless creature.

They weren’t an intelligent species, but had truly become insects.

Even if they were born with powerful abilities, it couldn’t change this reality.

No matter how strong an insect is, it’s still just an insect. Only with wisdom can one establish a true civilization.

She carefully examined it but found no trace of the light of wisdom within it.

“This isn’t right.”

“This isn’t right at all!”

“Why is it like this?”

She frantically put down the infant Trilobite, letting it crawl around the palace.

She took out the Seed of the Trilobite again, which had turned dark red, and finally found the problem.

It turned out the Seed of the Trilobite she had been holding had been corrupted by her Life Ability at some point.

Two hundred million years was too long.

It was far beyond what the Trilobite people could have imagined, a span of time that even their visions of the world’s end couldn’t reach.

They could predict scenarios thousands or ten thousand years into the future, but they couldn’t imagine what it would be like after ten million or a hundred million years.

In the long years and time, there were too many unexpected changes.

Everything had changed beyond recognition; even the transformations of seas into mulberry fields seemed brief and insignificant compared to this span of time.

“Did I destroy it?” she wondered, bewildered.

The Trilobite people had waited for over two hundred million years, finally waiting for God’s return.

But during this long passage of time, the Seed of the Trilobite had been corrupted by Life Ability. All the life templates had turned into seeds of Life Ability, no longer what they once were.

She looked at the infant Trilobite crawling on the ground. It had no wisdom at all, but was born with incredibly strong physical power.

The newborn infant Trilobite possessed abundant vitality, crawling around the palace and swimming freely in the water.

It could easily push over stone chairs and slabs, and a single impact could create a crater in the wall.

This was a Trilobite person with Life Ability.

And it was predictable that all the seeds in the Seed of the Trilobite had probably been contaminated, meaning that subsequent births would only produce Trilobite people like this.

The figure standing before the blood throne felt lost.

She acknowledged her mission, driven by intense emotions and a deep-seated obsession to fulfill her duty.

But before everything could even begin, it had already come to an end.

Were Trilobite people with Life Ability still Trilobite people?

Could such Trilobite people re-establish the once glorious civilization and recreate everything from countless years ago?

“I have failed.”

The previous statement was a question, but this one became a certainty.

She stepped back twice and sat on the blood throne.

She no longer knew how to proceed.

However, the moment she sat down, she felt a hand pressing on her shoulder.

It was as if someone was comforting her, or perhaps encouraging her.

She turned her head and saw a Trilobite person, long since turned to stone, standing behind the blood throne.

It had been silently standing behind her like this, guarding her.

A thousand years, ten thousand years.

A hundred million years.

It had accompanied her through endless ages, protecting the last flame of the Yinsai civilization alongside her.

The moment she looked at this stone statue, strong emotions welled up in her heart.

Her dark green pupils flickered and trembled, and tears involuntarily flowed down her cheeks.

She caressed its face with her hand, drawing close to look into its eyes.

“Who are you?”

She felt an overwhelming familiarity with it; it was the most important person to her.

She looked at the hand that had been resting on her shoulder and asked.

“Are you trying to tell me not to give up?”

There was no response, but she already had her answer.

The birth of Life Ability users was incredibly rare. To form a race, there first needed to be a being who had embarked on the path of myth, but this was no longer an obstacle now.

To give Life Ability users wisdom also had very strict conditions.

She searched through her memories for records about the Scarlet Apostles, which included methods for Life Ability to break through to the second rank, as only Life Ability users who broke through to the second rank could possess wisdom.

“For Life Ability to possess wisdom, it must seek out the shell of an intelligent life form that has shed its blood of wisdom.”

“Only by parasitizing intelligent life can true wisdom be born.”

She made her decision.

Even if they were Trilobite people with Life Ability, she would revive the Trilobite race.

As for what to do after the revival?

The difficulty of Life Ability’s birth and the generation of wisdom meant they were destined to struggle to form a large population. How could they recreate the former Yinsai Kingdom like this?

She hadn’t figured it out yet, or rather, there was no way to think about it now.

Without even the first Trilobite person with wisdom appearing, considering these issues now was meaningless.

Where could she find an intelligent species to serve as a host?

She raised her head to look at the outside world, her gaze penetrating the sea.

It was time to leave this place, to see what the outside world looked like—

The being on the blood throne, holding the infant Trilobite, slowly walked down from the throne and the Temple of Truth, heading outside.

As she left the throne, something suddenly rolled down from the blood throne.

A scepter, formed from her Ruhe Imprint, bore the marks of all her power and bloodline.

Like Stuen’s emblem, it was an artifact that came into being after she ascended to mythical status.

“Scepter of the Blood Progenitor.”

When she grasped this scepter, this name imprinted itself in her mind.

“Blood Progenitor?”

“Does that refer to me?”

The Blood Progenitor gripped this scepter tightly, feeling that most of her power resided within it.

After two hundred million years, when she awoke, she was no longer merely a Scarlet Apostle.

Like the God-Created Man Stuen, she had embarked on the path of myth, becoming a life form that could challenge true deities.

A mythical being.

The God-Created Man Stuen had accelerated the transformation of his vast mythical blood with seven Ruhe Imprints, becoming a mythical being within a few years.

But before her reincarnation, she had only condensed one fourth-rank, possessing the inheritance of the Scarlet Apostle’s Ruhe Imprint.

She had painstakingly reincarnated more mythical blood bit by bit, like grinding with a water mill, and then relied on the long years to condense it into Ruhe Imprints.

However, most of the power reincarnated over these two hundred million years had long since exceeded her control, dissipating into every grain of sand and stone here, penetrating deep into Ruhe Beast Island.

So when she left this relic, she suddenly felt as if she had lost something.

Lost an omnipotent, powerful force and enhancement.

The Blood Progenitor stood before the relic, looking back at the lighthouse emitting a dark red glow.

“My power… why has it weakened?”

Although this entire relic city was formed from the mythical blood that had dissipated from her, it had now become part of Ruhe Beast Island and no longer belonged entirely to her.

While she could command this relic city, she couldn’t move it.

But when inside this city, she would possess unimaginably powerful divine strength.

With a confused murmur, the mythical being, the Blood Progenitor, departed from the sea.

The scepter extended, parting the sea into two.

She walked out of the sea step by step, setting foot on the shore.

The Blood Progenitor looked around in bewilderment, having crossed a distance of two hundred million years, she once again stood on this land.

However, everything she saw filled her with confusion.

This was a world full of green, with various plants covering the coast.

Rivers, lakes, and swamps had become homes for all kinds of life, coexisting here.

Although she had forgotten the past, she still felt that the earth shouldn’t be like this.

It should have been an endless expanse of gray and desolation, of sand and bare mountains, a forbidden land where life could hardly set foot.

In her time, apart from the Trilobite people, no life could survive.

Even the Trilobite people could only survive because of God’s grace and protection.

“What is this?”

She passed through this forest, looking at the beasts, insects, and lizards that had crawled onto land and multiplied.

This was a world unimaginable to them two hundred million years ago, a bountiful home they could never have dreamed of, no matter how much they longed for it.

Back then, they had struggled so hard to survive in that barren and desolate world.

But in this era, all life was born enjoying all of this.

The Blood Progenitor walked through forests and swamps, gradually moving forward.

In the jungle, she suddenly encountered a type of life form she had never seen before. They had human upper bodies but strange tails.

The moment these creatures saw the Blood Progenitor, they began to shout and cry out in terror.

Seeing their appearance, the Blood Progenitor already had her answer.

“A new intelligent species.”

The foundation for the Trilobite people to reappear in this world was no longer a problem.

Those snake people were frightened the moment they saw her, both because of her physical features that were completely different from theirs, and because she had two legs.

Her appearance was exactly like the deities in their legends.

These snake people immediately thought they had encountered a god, so scared that they all prostrated themselves on the ground, trembling and not daring to raise their heads.

However, after a long while, there was no movement.

When they raised their heads, she had completely disappeared.

The snake people discussed among themselves.

Some said she was a new deity, coming from the direction of the sea.

Others said she might be a being who had come down from God’s realm to inspect the situation of the snake people, an apostle of the Mother of Life.

Because of her rare blood-red hair and the scepter in her hand, the snake people continued to speculate about her origins.

Legends about the Red Queen, a deity from the deep sea, began to spread across Ruhe Beast Island.
