Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 3022: Chapter 3020: Stay for a Meal Before You Leave

When Qin Xue woke up, she didn’t see Chu Molin. She looked at the sky and decided not to delay any further and started cooking.

”Sister-in-law.” Chu Xiaoqiao had finished her tasks early and asked the staff to watch the store. She came to find Qin Xue.

”Xiaoqiao, what’s up?” Qin Xue looked at her sister-in-law. She didn’t expect her to come at this time. Her medicine was not fully prepared yet, so she could only give her what had been done. Otherwise, if she finished it, it would have to be tomorrow at this time.

So, it’s not that she doesn’t want to make more medicine for her, but rather that she can’t.

”I’m going to rest for a few days starting tomorrow, so I won’t be able to come to the store during these days. I just came to inform you, so you can keep an eye on the business.” Chu Xiaoqiao wanted Qin Xue to watch over the store since she was leaving, otherwise, if she doesn’t visit as often, there would be no one to handle any issues that arise while she’s gone.

This situation is not something she wants to see happen; she must tell Qin Xue beforehand, because she had planned to approach things this way. She will still follow her original plan and finish her tasks within three days.

As long as these are done, she won’t worry about these things anymore and won’t be unable to find peace.

”Alright, I understand. Have dinner before you go back; I’ll give you some things later.” Qin Xue didn’t intend to rush her away, but since she’s going on a long trip, she should discuss it with her family, at least say goodbye. Therefore, she didn’t ask her to stay; otherwise, living with her sister would have been an option too.

Because they had lived together before, now it’s just a thought; it doesn’t require much effort, and this outcome is what she more desires. Because of friendship, everyone will be more considerate of each other.

”Okay.” Chu Xiaoqiao didn’t refuse and rolled up her sleeves, ready to cook with her.

In her heart, this place felt more like home, while other places seemed nonexistent because her heart wasn’t there, so it wasn’t home.

Chu Xiaoqiao’s thoughts were not about dissatisfaction; rather, she was thinking about the best way forward.

The sisters-in-law swiftly prepared the meal, ready for the family to eat upon their return. During the waiting period, Qin Xue brought out the healing medicine for Chu Xiaoqiao.

”Sister-in-law, what are these?” Chu Xiaoqiao asked, looking at the bottles in her hand and the small cloth bag containing several bottles.

”These are medicines I prepared. I wrote the usage and dosage on them. You should carry them with you, better safe than sorry.” Preparing for any contingency has always been Qin Xue’s guiding principle, because she doesn’t want to be caught off guard or fall into a passive situation at the last moment.

Everyone thinks alike; it’s just a matter of how to adjust and respond. Some people’s minds are more active, hence they’ve more and comprehensive ideas, while others are slower, so whether it’s dealing with things or otherwise, it’s not as effective, thus creating differences.

Life has too many uncertainties which influence the entire judgment.

And there isn’t much that can be done at times because it’s not necessary, yet it cannot be overlooked due to necessity, which prompts them to consider how to effect change.

So, it’s not about what she doesn’t want to do, but rather what she can do?

And what she can do is to do her best to care for her sister-in-law, ensuring her safety.

This outcome is something she’d never really thought about before. Now that she sees it, of course she hopes they all fare well.

As Chu Xiaoqiao’s sister-in-law, these are what Qin Xue could do.
