Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 3020: Chapter 3018: I Didn’t Consider Your Feelings

”Just play with the child for a bit, don’t go overboard. Otherwise, if she gets upset, I’m the one who’ll suffer,” Qin Xue said, not allowing him to continue playing. If the child gets too energetic, it’s her, the mother, who has to endure the hard work. So, in order to spare herself some trouble, it’s best to stop him appropriately.

”Alright, I’ll stop. How are you feeling? Is there any discomfort?” Chu Molin immediately stopped when he heard this. He wasn’t worried about himself, but he couldn’t let his wife feel unwell.

At times like this, he wouldn’t let anything unexpected happen to his wife.

”I’m fine. We’re fine, don’t worry.” Qin Xue quickly said when she saw his face change, afraid he would overthink things.

Such a result was something she didn’t want to see. It wasn’t that she didn’t want to do anything, but there was no way around it.

In situations like these, she was equally powerless, wasn’t she?

Life doesn’t offer too many ”what ifs,” but situations can be preempted. Right now, everything is okay. If there’s anything that could be done to ensure the child is fine, of course, the child’s needs come first, then the adults’.

However, in Chu Molin’s heart, adults came first, children second. But as this was his daughter, he couldn’t let anything happen to her.

”I didn’t consider your feelings. I won’t do it again.” Chu Molin was thinking about how to be good to her, but as it turned out, his actions were not good for his wife.

Besides, to a certain extent, the reason his wife was going through all this hardship was for his children, so he needed to be more considerate.

”Silly, I’m just reminding you not to overdo it. I never said I felt unwell,” Qin Xue knew he was overthinking.

But such matters weren’t just up to her; it depended on whether the child cooperated.

So, it wasn’t about what she wanted to say, but rather about what could be said?

Life’s path is filled with uncertainties. Now that the child is inside her, she can enjoy some light, carefree days. But once the child is born, she won’t have such leisurely time anymore.

No matter how exhausting it may be, she doesn’t want Chu Molin to feel guilty. She decided to first comfort him.

Life’s path is always filled with setbacks and unfairness. What they could do was to hold hands and face it together. At this moment, they need to figure out what they want to do and how to do it.

A person’s life is about completing the journey under such circumstances.

But they are still not past one-third of their lives, so how could there be a rift between them?

How could such a situation lead to any changes?

At times like these, it’s only then that they can live better, isn’t it?

Qin Xue didn’t know what was going on in Chu Molin’s mind, but for everyone’s benefit, it was best not to dwell on it, as long as they were okay together.

Qin Xue didn’t want to say more, so she took his hand and placed it on her belly to slowly feel the baby’s movements.

”Xue’er, didn’t you say it would be uncomfortable? Why are you still...?” Chu Molin asked, confused, as he looked at her.

”It’s alright, don’t worry. I’m just afraid you might play too hard, and the baby gets too energetic, which isn’t good for the baby,” Qin Xue wasn’t saying they couldn’t play, but she looked at him and spoke softly.

”This isn’t good either. I don’t want you to feel uncomfortable, so shouldn’t we stop?” Although he wanted to pull his hand back, Qin Xue held it firmly, leaving him no choice but to discuss it with her.

”It’s okay, just feel it like this. As long as you don’t move too quickly, it’s fine,” Qin Xue pressed his hand, not letting him pull away.

They were having so much fun just now, and everything was okay. Now it’s just lying there; what’s the worry?
