Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 3008: Chapter 3006: Keeping an Appointment

The next day, Qin Xue went to meet Lin Ziqi as scheduled.

”Qin Xue, over here.” Lin Ziqi had arrived early at Yuxuan Restaurant to wait for Qin Xue.

Because in his heart, he still wanted to know some things about his mother, but he didn’t know before, so he couldn’t learn about these things. Now that he can know, of course he wanted to find out.

”You came early.” Qin Xue wasn’t used to keeping people waiting, so she usually arrived early. She didn’t expect Lin Ziqi to already be there, which meant he came much earlier than she did.

In a certain way, such a person is more likable.

Because people who are punctual tend to have a strong sense of time, and such people are often more self-disciplined, more organized in their work, and more likely to succeed.

Lin Ziqi was just a petty thief, but his approach made Qin Xue have a slightly better impression of him.

”I just got here too. Do you want something to drink? Have you eaten?” Lin Ziqi arrived early but didn’t expect Qin Xue to come early as well, which he hadn’t accounted for, and he didn’t know whether she had eaten.

”Don’t worry about me, if you haven’t eaten, go ahead and order. I’ve already eaten before coming.” Qin Xue had prepared food for the little ones at home before coming, so she wasn’t hungry now.

”I’ve eaten too, let’s just have something to drink.” Lin Ziqi handed the menu to Qin Xue so she could order.

”I’ll just have a glass of milk.” Qin Xue initially wanted plain water but decided on milk, thinking it wouldn’t look good to Lin Ziqi otherwise.

No matter what Qin Xue ordered, Lin Ziqi had no objections, as he could afford this small expense.

”Qin Xue, what a coincidence, is this your friend?” Su Han, upon hearing a familiar voice, thought she had misheard. Looking over, indeed it was Qin Xue. It was such a small world; she seemed to run into her everywhere.

But being with a guy, this situation seemed to mean something more.

Also, judging by their relationship, it didn’t seem like a first meeting. They must be more than just friends.

”Yeah, I didn’t expect Ms. Su to be eating here too, what a coincidence.” Qin Xue’s smile didn’t reach her eyes, feeling like this coincidence was a bit too much.

Running into her everywhere she went was quite incredible.

And to some extent, all she could do was stay cautious of her, yet they kept bumping into each other.

”Yes, I didn’t expect you to come here either. Have you ordered yet? If not, join us, the more the merrier.” Su Han invited Qin Xue and Lin Ziqi.

”No need, we’ve eaten, we’re just having a drink.” Qin Xue didn’t accept her invitation.

”Alright then, I won’t insist. You two enjoy your chat; I’ll excuse myself.” Su Han was here with friends today, so hearing that Qin Xue wouldn’t join, she didn’t linger.

After arriving here, she first found a place to stay and then went to look for her friends from her previous life.

Of course, she didn’t just go straight to them but employed a strategy to let them get to know her first before inviting them out to eat.

Otherwise, they might have thought she was crazy.

And indeed, just like in the previous life, they hit it off at first sight and had a great conversation, with everything under her control except for Qin Xue.

Thinking of this, Su Han glanced at Qin Xue, wondering where things went wrong?

She felt that not only did Qin Xue not accept her, but she was also increasingly resistant to her. This was not the outcome she wanted. How could she stop Qin Xue from being so guarded?
