Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2539: Chapter 2533: That’s More Like It

”No matter what, you have to ask. Are you really not going just because of this? What about the child’s education? You’ve got to at least try.” Qin Xue looked at Dongfang Li. You can’t just not go because of this, right? Otherwise, whenever they want to do something, wouldn’t they have to think about the outcome before acting?

”Hmm, I get what you mean. I’ll go ask later. Even if I have to kneel, I’ll get them to issue me a certificate.” Dongfang Li thought, if she didn’t go, then there were only two ways for her son to attend school.

One is to go back to that man to get the household registration, the other is to return to her family, but she didn’t want to go back to either place now. So, this was the only way. Hopefully, the result would be good.

”That’s the spirit. Talking about it doesn’t achieve anything; you have to try it yourself. How will you know if it works if you don’t try? By the way, is there anything you need here?” Qin Xue thought about how it was inconvenient for her to go out, so she asked if she could help. After all, her belly was still small, so going out was easier for her.

”Not really. What are you planning to use this for?” Dongfang Li, hearing Qin Xue, noticed she was holding a piece of fabric. What did she want to do with it? This fabric seemed quite nice. It would be great for making a schoolbag.

”Cohen is going to school, and I haven’t prepared a bag for him yet. So I came out to see if there’s a suitable piece of fabric. I was thinking of making him a bag, and I also wanted to see if Nannan found a school yet; I’d make one for him too.” Qin Xue had completely forgotten about this, so when she remembered, she came out. How could she forget? After coming out, she realized this matter wasn’t settled, so she came to Dongfang Li’s place. After all, there were some things she wasn’t aware of here, and she wanted to be sure.

Often, Qin Xue thought things through thoroughly, wanting to help wherever she could. This way, it would make things easier for them, which is why her friends were always willing to help her out. Because there aren’t many people who consider their friends like this.

”That feels great! Give the fabric to me, I’ll embroider a few stalks of Qing Zhu or orchids on it. This way, it won’t look so plain.” Dongfang Li thought for a moment, for boys, using bamboo and orchid decorations would look better.

”That’s exactly what I was thinking.” Qin Xue handed the fabric to Dongfang Li. If she were to do it herself, she wouldn’t have the time to embroider. She had to rely on Dongfang Li for this.

However, no matter what, she couldn’t sit down and embroider stitch by stitch herself. She hadn’t embroidered in a long time, and doing it like that took too much time, and it wouldn’t turn out well.

”I thought so; you came with a purpose. No problem, just give it to me. But what kind of style do you want for the bag?” Dongfang Li looked at Qin Xue’s bag, which was different from the ones here. She wanted one too but felt embarrassed to ask, so she didn’t. She thought of doing it herself, but without seeing the inside, she couldn’t make it. Embroidery was her forte, but making bags wasn’t, so even if she liked it, she never mentioned it.

But now she thought she should first make one for the child. If going to school wasn’t an option, she would have to teach him herself. Thinking like this, it had to work; as Qin Xue said, the child was at the age to be enlightened, and they couldn’t delay him, so she had to figure something out. But now she also had to get the certificate first, so making the schoolbag had become one of the urgent tasks too.
