Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2532: Chapter 2526: How Ironic

”Don’t act so aggrieved. Having another sister is no problem, just as you said, as long as it doesn’t disturb our existing lives, it’s fine. Since this is what we both mean, then I think we should be able to maintain both families well, don’t you think?” Qin Xue didn’t expect Qin Ying to mean this too, which was perfect.

This outcome is what both sides desire, so if they each look after their own families, wouldn’t it be wonderful?

Moreover, in such circumstances, they can contribute more to their own families, can’t they? Because both want to protect their mother from harm.

However, often what Qin Xue thinks tends to differ from Qin Ying’s thoughts because to some extent, they are unsure of what to do.

After all, they’re from an older generation, as long as they understand in their hearts and know what they want, that’s enough.

This is why Qin Xue can have peace of mind, because she knows her mother loves her current husband, so she wouldn’t hurt her family for someone else. Qin Xue knew this outcome beforehand, so what does she have to be scared of?

It’s just that she knows, but Qin Ying doesn’t, leading to her inner insecurity.

This kind of feeling is something she hadn’t experienced before, so often she feels very uncertain inside, but no matter what, she doesn’t want to lose face in front of Qin Xue.

But the current situation is evidently against her, and she doesn’t know when she can turn this weakness around.

As for Qin Ying, Qin Xue isn’t afraid of anything she might say anymore. She says whatever she wants, and won’t let herself fall into such a predicament again.

Previously, she was unhappy because she cared too much, but now she won’t be like that anymore. It’s clear that getting the same result again is impossible.

So both sisters have their own plans in mind. Qin Ying wants to surpass Qin Xue, but that’s truly impossible, and Qin Xue won’t let herself be bullied either.

If they had feelings for each other, it would be easier to talk about, but they don’t. From childhood to adulthood, they didn’t know of each other’s existence. This was the moment they found out, and cultivating feelings now seems impossible.

It’s said that when adults fail to see things clearly for a moment, they can harm the next generation, possibly turning them into enemies.

Isn’t their current situation similar? Especially because it’s better to not know beforehand. But when they do know what’s going on, they’re even more unsure of how to interact.

Qin Xue, due to this matter, has yet to say or do anything else, because she knows sometimes one cannot do what they wish, but rather, because she knows what she wants, she handles this matter very rationally.

Otherwise, how could Qin Ying possibly lose to her with her intellect and methods? It’s because she cares too much about this matter, the exact opposite of Qin Xue. Hence, she lost before she even began.

”Haha, our situation is truly ironic. Other families are stable and harmonious, while ours is such a mess. You can’t blame anyone, but it indeed leaves me wondering how to face it properly. You know, I’ve never truly been happy growing up, do you believe it?” Qin Ying looked into the distance, speaking slowly. She didn’t know why she wanted to say this, but at that very moment, she just wanted to say it out loud.
