Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2348: Chapter 2342: The First Place

Upon hearing Qin Xue say this, Chu Molin indeed became a bit happier in his heart. As long as she thinks of him, it proves that she places him first in her heart, which is quite nice. So, of course, he was pleased to hear it.

There’s no denying that this couple is quite interesting. They both think of ways to make each other’s life easier, striving to ensure that their partner remembers them and feels more relaxed. Yet, many couples fail to do this, especially in modern times, where some men only go to work, come home, and act like lords. They don’t take care of the kids or do housework, leaving all tasks to their wives. Over time, conflicts between them arise, and their feelings slowly fade, resulting in everyone feeling exhausted and losing the motivation to maintain the relationship.

Once a woman falls in love, her focus shifts to the family and children, rarely thinking about herself. Men, however, tend to think differently; they believe women should naturally take care of the kids and assume that it’s not tiring. They find their work tiring and get frustrated when their wives complain that they don’t contribute to family chores. When a man starts feeling this way, he thinks his wife is unreasonable, believing that staying home with the kids is easy yet still hearing complaints and nagging all the time. This leads him to find his wife bothersome, feeling that not all women are troublesome, but his own wife is. As a result, neither of them wants to maintain the relationship anymore but rather wishes to escape. This leads men to find other women more attractive and understanding and their own ”tigress” at home more fearsome, increasing their reluctance to return home. When this phenomenon occurs, infidelity is not far off, so it’s essential to keep nurturing and maintaining the marital relationship.

Otherwise, it might end suddenly, because a woman’s sadness is accumulated slowly. Only when she can’t bear it anymore and breaks down does she stop wanting to contribute. That’s a time for men to pay attention because women can love deeply but can also be very decisive when hurt. When her sadness gets to the point where she can’t handle it anymore, she might even leave without caring about the children. This is why they’d rather leave with nothing, because women tend to think simply—they fear that if they don’t let go and leave, they won’t survive. So, men, don’t wait until you’ve lost something to value it; no one will take responsibility for your actions.

”Sis, what kind of dishes should we make?” Qin Jiale asked, looking at the ingredients in the kitchen. She wasn’t sure what to cook, so she’d rather let her sister decide.

”What do you feel like eating? Tell me, and I’ll make it, provided I know how to cook it. Otherwise, it would be pointless to choose it. Of course, I can have the chef help you out. How does that sound?” Qin Xue thought that cooking requires a lot of learning and practice. Cooking is like that, familiarity makes you skillful, and not just in other areas but in cooking as well. In fact, cooking brings even more joy, especially when you’ve prepared a table of dishes that everyone enjoys and compliments, saying, ”It’s really delicious,” which boosts the cook’s confidence.

Although Qin Xue doesn’t need such words for motivation, she hopes everyone enjoys the food she makes, especially after Qing Zhu and An Hao mentioned that her cooking lacked emotion last time. This time, she is more determined to prepare excellent dishes.
