Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 1240: Chapter 1234: Bad Mood_1 Chapter 1240: Chapter 1234: Bad Mood_1 “Shall we give it a try?” An Hao asked uncertainly.

“Let’s try it. It’s better than her constant crying, don’t you think?” Chu Xiaoqiao was also being softened by the crying of An Hao’s daughter.

“Be careful, Taotao.” An Hao cast a worried look at the two little ones on the bed.

“It really works.” Chu Xiaoqiao stared at the two little ones in surprise. Could it be true that children needed to play with other children to be happy?

“Indeed, not only does the little girl not cry anymore, she’s actually laughing. She knows how to pick people at such a young age. I don’t know what will become of her in the future.” An Hao looked at her daughter. She was such a fickle girl who easily got taken in by a new face. How many worries was she going to cause her in the future?

“An Hao, the food is ready, you should eat something.” Qin Xue brought in the freshly cooked food.

“Okay.” An Hao was about to say she didn’t want it, but she couldn’t resist the appetizing aroma and subconsciously swallowed her saliva.

“It’s hot, be careful.” Qin Xue placed the bowl on a small table to make it easy for An Hao to eat.

“Qin Xue, how did you make this? It’s different from how my mother makes it.” An Hao ate the food and instantly felt a great surge of appetite.

“I didn’t do much, I just added some ginger and wine to remove the gamey taste.” Qin Xue had added some spiritual spring water to the food, but it was something she couldn’t mention, so she didn’t say anything.

Qin Xue had also added some blood-nourishing herbs to the food. Giving birth had left An Hao weakened, and she hadn’t been eating properly, which had further weakened her. Without some correction, her health would deteriorate further.

That was why people on confinement after giving birth were recommended to take some medicinal cuisines, to adjust their bodies. It was always said that food nourishes better than medicine, but this referred to a gradual nourishing, rather than an abrupt one.

“But my mother also adds these, why does it taste so different then?” An Hao really wanted to know, otherwise, she’d be stuck eating food she didn’t like.

“I’ll talk to your mother later, let her add some medicinal herbs when she’s cooking for you. Then you won’t feel strange about it.” Qin Xue couldn’t be constantly around, otherwise she’d always be able to add some spiritual spring water to An Hao’s food to help her recover. But that wasn’t realistic, so she would ask to add some medicinal herbs instead.

Qin Xue believed that despite Li family’s affluence, eating good food all the time could also be harmful. The choice should be depending on one’s health condition.

“Great, I haven’t had a proper meal for days, I’m feeling hungry.” An Hao felt like having a good meal now.

“Eat if you want to, I promise that you’ll also want to do so in future. As I always say, no matter what happens, keep an open mind. Speak out about any issues, don’t keep them bottled up inside. It’s not conducive to your recovery and overall physical and mental health.” Qin Xue didn’t know if An Hao had encountered some issues, but she felt that it was important to be open to better situations.

“Right, I know.” An Hao nodded. She didn’t know why, but since giving birth, her originally happy days had turned difficult. Every time her child cried, she became anxious; and the more her child cried, the more irritable she became. Distressed, she found it harder to eat and sleep well, ending up in the situation she found herself in now.

“Wow, our Taotao can hold his little sister. It seems she likes you. She was crying so hard moments ago, now she’s stopped crying and even laughed when you held her.” After comforting An Hao, Qin Xue turned around to talk to Jingtao.

To be honest, when Qin Xue first came in, she saw it. But she took care of An Hao first. Now that An Hao was taken care of, she naturally had the time to play with Jingtao.
