Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 893: Chapter 887 Sisters Finally Recognize Each Other_1

“Yingying, did you say you fell off a cliff while picking herbs?” Qin Xue asked Nangong Beiying with a start.

“Yes, what’s wrong?” Nangong Beiying did not understand what Qin Xue was getting at.

“I dreamt of that scene, it’s just like what you described. In my dream, you were sucked down the cliff by a vortex-like force. You have no idea how it feels to helplessly watch you fall. It’s heartbreaking.” Qin Xue embraced Nangong Beiying, laying in her arms like old times, her voice muffled.

“Xuexue, you said you saw me falling? But how is that possible? I’m sure I was alone then. I didn’t see you or anyone else around.” Nangong Beiying couldn’t believe that Qin Xue might have witnessed her fall.

If that was the case, what did it indicate? The thought sent shivers down their spines.

“Yingying, it can’t be. In my dream, I heard you calling for me to save you, that’s why I was there. But by that time I had been here for several months.” Qin Xue felt a fear creeping in. Yingying’s words made her feel as though she was experiencing it all over again. Even though she didn’t believe in ghosts, her story sounded ghostly enough.

...
“That’s what I found unbelievable too. I didn’t even know you had died in a car accident. I was out with my master’s senior disciple and wasn’t able to return. Even more, I had no signal on my phone when I was up the mountain. So, even if someone wanted to contact me, they couldn’t.” Nangong Beiying truly had no idea about Qin Xue’s accident. If she did, she wouldn’t have stayed away.

What mysterious power took Qin Xue there to witness her fall?

“Sigh, let’s not fret about it anymore. Among all of us, only Chenchen is out there. Who knows how she’s doing these days?” Qin Xue referred to matters she couldn’t quantify or comprehend.

“There you go again.” Nangong Beiying watched Qin Xue, who remained the same as always, and shook her head helplessly. Perhaps being so carefree was the secret of her happiness.

“Aren’t you aware of it already? I’m too lazy to think about these things.” Qin Xue said, oblivious to Nangong Beiying’s expression.

“Yes, yes, yes, my dear miss, can you tell me about your life after you got here?” asked Nangong Beiying, repeating her agreement three times. She knew Qin Xue was too lazy for her own good. If she still had hopes for her, she was the foolish one.

“Yingying, you won’t believe it. Not only am I married and have a man now, I’m also a mother. I felt like smashing my head against a block of tofu and go back. But I realized I couldn’t, and as the days went by, I began to think that my life wasn’t that bad. Though I missed you all, there was nothing I could do. I just had to accept it. Now I have twin sons and a loving husband.” Qin Xue admitted happily, her blissful face evoking envy.

“Wow! Our advocate of staying single was the first among us to get married and have children.” Nangong Beiying felt happy for Qin Xue. As long as she was happy, nothing else mattered. Although in their past life she was the eldest and Qin Xue the youngest, they had always been this way. Happiness was all that mattered, regardless of who among them it was.

“Hehe, I didn’t expect this either. Even now, everything seems so surreal to me.” Qin Xue responded, sticking out her tongue at Nangong Beiying’s comment.
