Survival in the Underground Palace: Get the instant kill skill at the beginning

7: Make a psychic faucet”Now that I have all the materials for the Spiritual Energy Faucet, I want to see what it does. I hope it doesn’t disappoint.”

Entering the crafting page, Liu Yang reached out and tapped.

[You have crafted an ordinary Spiritual Energy Faucet. iron block -4, water spirit stone -1, gold spirit stone -1.]

[Congratulations on obtaining ordinary Spiritual Energy Faucet x1.]

[Ordinary Spiritual Energy Faucet: This is a magical item containing a mysterious formation. Powered by Spiritual Energy, it can create drinking water out of thin air, though the speed is somewhat touching.]

”Alright, I can finally get rid of the drinking water problem.”

”I just don’t know how much Spiritual Energy it consumes. After all, I’ve only gotten two points so far.”

However, that wasn’t all. Liu Yang held the Spiritual Energy Faucet and looked around, feeling a bit troubled.

”The item is crafted, but where should I install it? I can’t just chisel a hole in the wall, right?”

The wall naturally couldn’t be damaged, so he had to think of another way.

And even if he did chisel a hole, it still wouldn’t be enough. After the water is created, he would need a container to collect it.

”The place to install the Spiritual Energy Faucet can wait until the wood bed is crafted. It’s also very simple, just a few pieces of wood and one iron block are missing.”

”As for a container to hold the water, a bucket or a basin would be best.”

”It would be best if I had the blueprints to craft these things.”

So, Liu Yang entered the trading Auction House channel again.

He searched for blueprints, but there were no blueprints at all.

”Then I can only put food on the Auction House again.”

”Sausage must be paired with instant noodles.”

”It’s not cost-effective to trade meat buns.”

”Roasted meat is even more impossible.”

”Then what should I use to trade?”

Opening his warehouse and looking at the food he had, Liu Yang was a bit troubled.

”Right, how could I forget about it.”

Suddenly, a piece of whole wheat bread that he had eaten half of came into view.

[Auction House]

[Seller: Liu Yang.]

[Trading Item: Half a piece of leftover whole wheat bread, about 50 grams.]

[Requirement: wood bucket crafting blueprint.]

[Alternative: wood basin crafting blueprint.]

[Inventory: 1.]

The reason he chose blueprints for wood materials was that iron containers for water are prone to rust.

Shi Yufei finished eating the large meat bun.

She also drank the remaining half bottle of milk.

Her hunger and thirst were finally somewhat relieved.

While she was tidying herself up in the room, a notification sound rang in her mind.

”Could it be...”

Shi Yufei was startled and immediately opened the game interface, entering the Auction House channel.

As expected, that guy started selling food again.

”Half a piece of leftover bread? That’s really in bad taste. Does he like indirectly kissing people so much?”

”I can just remove the part he bit. Since that’s the case, I’ll buy it.”

Shi Yufei remembered that she had a crafting blueprint for a small wood bucket.

Since she didn’t have a use for it at the moment, she kept it without using it.

Now was a good time to trade it for food.

As for whether she would lose out...

For now, living is the priority.

So, she tapped her finger, the blueprint disappeared, and the bread was in her hand.

”But I can’t think of it this way. He said he would contact me first if he needed something. If I hadn’t set a reminder, I might have missed it.”

She entered the chat channel, opened her friends list, edited a message, selected Liu Yang, and clicked send.

[Shi Yufei traded with you, obtaining small wood bucket crafting blueprint x1.]

Before Liu Yang could even be surprised by the speed of the transaction, a message followed closely behind.

Shi Yufei: ”Da Lao, you said you would contact me first if you needed something, remember? If I hadn’t been fast, someone else might have bought the item. Also, you’re always selling leftovers. Aren’t you afraid that some greasy uncle might buy them?”

”Huh, she bought it again?”

At a glance, Liu Yang was surprised.

When he saw the words that followed, a wave of disgust immediately surged within him.

Thinking about his leftovers being licked and slowly chewed by certain people...

The image was too beautiful to continue thinking about.

”Damn, I didn’t even think about it until you reminded me. Beautiful women are fine, but as for others...”

”Never again, never again!”

At the same time, he replied to Shi Yufei’s message.

Liu Yang: ”Thanks for the reminder. It’s just that I thought you only had spirit stones, so I put it on the Auction House. I’ll definitely contact you first next time.”

Shi Yufei: ”Okay, it’s my fault for not being clear. By the way, I also have a Spiritual Energy electric grill crafting blueprint here. Do you want it? We can trade for drinking water.”

Liu Yang: ”Just hold onto it for me for now. I’ll check tonight and reply to your message tonight.”

Shi Yufei: ”Okay, then I won’t bother you anymore. Bye bye.”

Liu Yang: ”Bye bye.”

He entered his warehouse, found the small wood bucket blueprint, and clicked ”Use”.

[Small wood bucket crafting materials: wood x4, iron block x1.]

”Damn, I’m short one piece. Including the wood bed, I’m short a total of 9 pieces and two iron blocks.”

”These things are relatively easy to get. I can’t waste food anymore.”

”I’ve rested enough. The exploration continues.”

Walking out of the house and looking around, Liu Yang couldn’t help but sigh:

”The upgraded house is good, but it takes up more space. If the area is small, it won’t even fit.”

[You sliced off the ear of a Dungeon Rat with one strike. Second Kill skill triggered. Dungeon Rat died.]

[Congratulations on killing a Dungeon Rat, obtaining dry grass x3, Stone Material x2, Spiritual Energy x1.]

[You severed the tail of a Dungeon Rat with one strike. Second Kill skill triggered. Dungeon Rat died.]

[Congratulations on killing a Dungeon Rat, obtaining Stone Material x3, small map x1, apple x3, Spiritual Energy x1.]

”Huh, it seems like I got something good.”

With his first experience, Liu Yang could now calmly deal with Dungeon Rats when he encountered them.

And the Second Kill skill didn’t fail either, triggering on average every 5 or 6 strikes.

But there was also something that puzzled Liu Yang.

He came here to find the Dungeon Cockroach Nest.

But here, besides a few Mosquitoes, it was all Rats.

The only thing worth celebrating was that, in addition to having more materials, each Rat definitely dropped one point of Spiritual Energy.

”Perhaps this is the benefit of fighting monsters above my level?”

Not dwelling on this matter, Liu Yang summoned the game interface, entered the warehouse page, and took out the small map.

[Small map: After use, it can display the Dungeon map within a 10-meter radius.]

”Good stuff, this is exactly what I needed.”

Liu Yang beamed with joy and immediately clicked use.

Then the small map disappeared, and a small map appeared in the upper right corner of his vision.

He also learned some related commands.

”Map zoom in.”

With the simple command, a circular light curtain appeared in front of Liu Yang.

A white light spot in the center of the light curtain flickered from time to time.

Liu Yang understood that it represented his current location.

The map image was very rough, with passages shown in gray-white and walls in black.

However, the monster locations he most wanted were not displayed as light spots, which made him very confused.

Despite this, it still had a huge effect.

For example, there was a clue to the Dungeon Cockroach Nest that he had been desperately searching for.

Because the map showed that there was another passage next to the right side of the passage he was facing into the depths.

For him, who could already deal with level 3 Earth Palace Creatures, he shouldn’t logically still be focusing on small cockroaches.

But Liu Yang had an idea.

He wanted to see if there was a boss in the Dungeon Cockroach Nest.

If there was, would the drop rate be higher, and would it drop rare items???
