I Created a Containment Object at the Start, and Became a God

39: Welcome! The true god has descended to earth!Outside the Li Family Estate, Zhang Ji suddenly felt a sharp pain in his mind, and his connection with all the venomous bees was instantly severed.

But a faint smile appeared on the corner of his mouth—although he had lost the swarm, he had already acquired critical intelligence.

”captain, what’s the situation inside?” Xiao Wang asked anxiously. ”We just monitored energy sources, but they all disappeared...”

Just as Zhang Ji was about to answer, his Encrypted Communicator suddenly rang.

His pupils contracted when he saw the caller ID—it was Li Xiaohan! How could this centenarian, who should be lying on his deathbed, call him personally?

”Elder Li...” Zhang Ji answered the phone cautiously. ”I heard you were unwell, how could you...”

”Thank you for your concern, captain Zhang.” The voice on the other end made Zhang Ji tremble—it wasn’t the voice of a dying old man at all, but a deep, resonant male voice with a strange echo. ”A few pests got into the Estate just now, and they have been dealt with.”

Zhang Ji suppressed his shock: ”Does the Investigation Bureau need to assist? We monitored anomalous energy...”

”No need.” Li Xiaohan’s laugh carried a metallic quality. ”Just some experimental accidents. But captain Zhang...”

The voice suddenly lowered, ”Those little bees of yours sting quite painfully.”

Zhang Ji frowned slightly—the other party not only knew his reconnaissance method but had pointed it out directly!

As expected, the Li family possessed some formidable means.

”Oh, right,” Li Xiaohan seemed to recall something suddenly. ”The Li family is holding a Charity Gala three days from now. captain Zhang, you must honor us with your presence.”

Zhang Ji put on a professional smile: ”Since Elder Li personally invited me, I will certainly be there on time.” The two exchanged a few more pleasantries before ending the call.

”captain, was that... the Li Family Patriarch?” Xiao Zhang asked in disbelief. ”Were we discovered?”

Zhang Ji nodded heavily, his brows tightly locked: ”The strangest thing is that Li Xiaohan’s voice didn’t sound like a centenarian at all; it was full of vigor...”

Xiao Zhang suddenly interjected: ”Could it be... a UMA parasite? I heard some high-level UMAs can take over human bodies...”

”Fall back.” Zhang Ji decisively ordered. ”The water here is much deeper than we imagined. We must report to Headquarters immediately.”

The three quickly packed their equipment and withdrew... In an unfinished building in the western suburbs of Longcheng, a group of followers wearing the black robes of the Three Monkey Gods were whispering in the shadows. Three High Priests wearing golden Monkey God masks stood in the center, forming hand seals to perceive something.

Suddenly, a follower stumbled in, his voice distorted by fear: ”G-Great High Priest! The Kongsang Jade Silkworm... it’s gone!”

The High Priest on the left sneered, ”What’s the rush? Today is the day Li Jingting must repay the Blood Contract. The Sacred Silkworm should have gone to collect his soul.”

But the messenger trembled as he held up a shattered white jade censer: ”But... the Natal Jade Censer that nourished the Sacred Silkworm is also shattered! All the silkworm eggs inside are withered... The Sacred Silkworm is probably...”

”What?!” The three High Priests rose simultaneously, their masked voices filled with horror.

The High Priest in the center snatched the shattered censer.

The High Priest in the center trembled as he held the shattered Jade Cauldron. The body of the cauldron was covered in spiderweb cracks, the originally lustrous white jade was now dull, and the silkworm eggs inside had all turned to ash.

The three looked at each other, their expressions beneath the masks exceedingly grim.

”How is this possible...” The High Priest on the left slammed his fist against the wall. ”The C-rank Sacred Silkworm we spent over a decade cultivating, sacrificing so many people for... is just gone!”

The High Priest on the right suddenly spoke chillingly: ”Could that waste, Li Jingting, have discovered our plan? He knows we intended to use the Kongsang Jade Silkworm to devour his soul and thus control the Li family...”

”Him?” The High Priest on the left scoffed. ”That idiot even sacrificed his own daughter; how could he possibly discover our scheme? Furthermore, killing the Kongsang Jade Silkworm requires at least C-rank power...”

”Enough!” The High Priest in the center interrupted sharply. ”Arguing now is pointless. The Sacrificial Ritual is about to begin; we absolutely cannot delay the main event.”

He pointed toward the bizarre Monkey God Statue deep within the unfinished building. ”First, complete the sacrifice to the True God. We will discuss the matter of the Kongsang Jade Silkworm later.”

The other two suppressed their rage and nodded. The High Priest on the right turned and shouted to the followers: ”Prepare the sacrifice! Bring forth the Sacrifices!”

Several black-robed followers immediately dragged over more than ten blindfolded men and women to the statue. These Sacrifices had clearly been injected with anesthetics, leaving them limp and unable to resist.

The moment the High Priest raised the Ritual Dagger, the entire unfinished building fell into an unsettling silence.

108 copper bells hanging from the tower crane vibrated simultaneously, yet due to an Anti-phase Cancellation Effect, they created a suffocating stillness instead.

”Begin the sacrifice!” the High Priest in the center roared.

The three High Priests pressed their palms onto a half-poured concrete pillar simultaneously, and the eyes beneath their Monkey God masks glowed blood-red.

The Sacrifices, known as ”living stakes,” were roughly shoved into the pillar mold.

Copper coins numbered 000, 111, and 222 were sewn over their eyes, the ’∞’ symbol was branded onto their tongues, and their mouths were filled with quick-setting cement.

Though they could neither see nor speak now, their violently trembling bodies revealed extreme terror.

”City without sound, all voices reversed—Hearing Extinction.”

”Universe without sight, all colors negated—Sight Extinction.”

”Cosmos without speech, all words empty—Speech Extinction.”

”In the name of the Gods of the Three Monkeys...” The High Priests chanted in unison, dark red light emitting from their palms. The concrete suddenly writhed like a living thing, completely engulfing the living stakes.

”First heartbeat!”

The High Priests exerted force simultaneously, and the entire unfinished building shook violently.

A crack shot up from the foundation to the tenth floor, crawling across the wall like a hideous black centipede. A muffled heartbeat echoed from within the concrete pillar, and the encased living stakes convulsed madly.

The Cultists knelt and roared hysterically: ”Welcome the descent of the True God!”

”Second heartbeat!”

The crack instantly spread to the twentieth floor, and more debris fell from above. The heartbeat inside the pillar became more rapid, and blood-colored patterns surfaced on the concrete.

”Third heartbeat—stop!”

The High Priests’ voices sounded like tearing metal, and the entire unfinished building instantly fell into dead silence.

The cracks abruptly retracted, as if stitched together by an invisible force, and the walls were restored to new, leaving not a single trace.

And at that very moment—

The first Monkey God statue slowly lowered the hand covering its eyes, and blood beads condensed in its gaze.

The second Monkey God statue released the hand covering its ears. The silence of the 108 copper bells was instantly shattered; all the bell sounds reversed, and the copper bells exploded!

The fragments scattered like a rain of blood, spinning in mid-air and transforming into a scarlet copper dust storm.

The third Monkey God statue moved the hand covering its mouth, yet no sound emerged, only a circle of gray-white sonic boom silently diffused.

Two black-robed followers dragged a woman onto the stone platform. Copper coins were sewn over her eyes, her ears were filled with cement, and her mouth was sealed shut with cement bearing the ’∞’ symbol, allowing her to emit only muffled, hoarse whimpers.

She struggled desperately, but it was futile.

The three Monkey God statues simultaneously turned toward her, their stone pupils radiating dark gold light.

The woman’s abdomen suddenly swelled at a bizarre speed, as if countless wriggling living things were struggling beneath her skin.

Her body twisted, her bones making sounds of unbearable strain. Her belly was stretched almost transparent, faintly revealing some non-human form curled up inside—

That was not a fetus.

Instead, it was a ”Divine Fetus” that was currently hatching.

The followers prostrated themselves, chanting twisted prayers fanatically, while the three High Priests raised their hands, the corners of their mouths beneath the masks splitting to their ears, revealing a hideous, non-human grin.

”Welcome—”

”The True God descends!”
