I Created a Containment Object at the Start, and Became a God

106: Cannibalism? They’ve been discovered!Tom and John were frozen behind the bushes on the small mound as if under a paralysis spell, not daring to even breathe heavily.

Extreme fear left them ice-cold, their hands and feet numb, with only the sound of their hearts pounding frantically in their chests roaring in their ears.

They desperately pressed their bodies down, wishing they could bury themselves into the mud.

However, the arm Tom used to hold his phone remained as if welded in place; despite trembling violently, it stubbornly kept the camera fixed on the nightmarish scene in the center of the clearing.

In the livestream, after a brief silence, came an even more frantic tsunami of comments:

”Oh My Fking God!!! It’s real! It’s a real Lizardman!”

”Streamer, you’re awesome! This shot is rock steady! You deserve a bonus!”

”Holy Shit! What is it doing?! That person who is tied up!”

”Do Lizardmen eat people? I’ve never heard of that! It wasn’t in the records!”

”Bitch! Who knew it actually existed before?! Now, nothing it does is surprising!”

”Call the police! Hurry up and call the police! (Though I don’t know if it’ll be any use)”

”This stream is too hardcore! Spamming gifts!”

John’s index finger was tightly hooked onto the trigger guard of his Glock pistol, cold sweat sliding down his temples and soaking his eyelashes.

He glanced at Tom and asked with his eyes: ”What should we do? Retreat?”

Tom’s face was deathly pale, and he shook his head almost imperceptibly. His eyes were filled with fear, but deeper within, there was a morbid madness ignited by the massive tips and the desire for fame.

He was telling John with his eyes: Wait, just a little longer! This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!

Just then, the Lizardman in the clearing made a new move. It didn’t seem to be in any hurry to kill its prey immediately.

It lowered its head and, using its scale-covered, sharp-tipped claw, made a tiny, precise, and gentle incision on top of the unconscious man’s head.

Eerily, not much blood flowed from the wound.

Beneath the man’s skin, it seemed that some kind of special enzyme or dissolving liquid had been injected long ago, making the connection between the skin and muscle tissue abnormally fragile.

The Lizardman carefully pinched the edge of the scalp incision with its claw, and then, like taking off a soft hat, slowly and completely peeled off the skin of the man’s entire head along with his hair!

The whole process was quiet and swift, carrying a nauseating, practiced sense of ritual.

A complete human face skin was held in its claw, while the bright red muscle and white skull underneath were exposed under the flickering light of the campfire.

The livestream was instantly flooded with countless ”WTF!!!” and vomiting emojis.

The Lizardman looked at the scalp still dripping with viscous liquid in its hand, then looked at the headless body that had lost its ”face” and was twitching slightly, emitting a low, satisfied, hissing laugh that seemed to come from the depths of hell, filled with greed.

Then, it did something that made everyone’s soul tremble—it extended another claw and, using a nail as sharp as an awl, easily drilled a small hole in the top of the exposed skull.

Then, it leaned down, brought its scale-covered face close, opened its fang-filled mouth, and began to directly suck on the warm, still-wriggling brain tissue.

A subtle, hair-raising sucking sound filled the air.

”Ugh—!” Tom could no longer hold it back; his stomach churned, and he almost vomited. Subconsciously, he wanted to retreat, to get away from this hellish scene.

It was just this subtle, light ”snap” sound of a dead branch breaking underfoot as he moved his body, but in the dead silent night of the Swamp, it was as clear as a thunderclap!

”Hiss—?!”

The Lizardman, who was in the middle of its ”meal,” paused abruptly!

It instantly raised its head, and those cold, reptilian vertical pupils shot toward the small mound where Tom and John were hiding like searchlights, with pinpoint accuracy!

It had noticed them!

At that moment, John and Tom’s blood seemed to freeze completely!

Their faces instantly turned ashen, their bodies stiffened like ice sculptures, and even their breathing stopped.

They could clearly feel that the gaze from the terrifying entity had locked onto them tightly!

The Lizardman slowly, oh so slowly, turned around, facing their direction completely.

It let go of its hand, and its mouth, stained with brain matter and blood, curled into a cruel and excited grin, mixed with the displeasure of being disturbed and the thrill of finding new prey.

”Who is there…?”
