Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 439: Fortress of the Fallen

Two minutes quickly went by, and it went without exception that most were more depressed than happy about the grouping system. With the stream at the forefront as pressure, many members were split apart.

In fact, there were even times when OneManMedia would intervene once again to implement some Vanguard guild members into their group, almost as if they were put there to surveil them.

However, the arrangement wasnʼt great for Xu Feng either as he glanced at the team that he wound up in due to OneManMediaʼs meticulous choosing.

Carmen (Lunar Wraith), Veronica (Vortex Viper), Zhao Kai (Shadow Blade), SilentWhisper, Steelshot, Iceheart, DeathLingers of the Eternal Guild, Ardent Lance of the Tyrant Fist Guild, and OneManMedia.

Aside from DeathLingers who was a regular member of the Eternal Guild, OneManMedia somehow brought two from the Silver Wind Guild, Steelshot and SilentWhisper to his team.

However, that wasnʼt even the worst part.

It was the fact that he grouped Iceheart with him, with the excuse that her ice-cold personality made it difficult to group with others and only he could handle her.

”Are you deliberately messing with me, OneManMedia?” Xu Feng asked suspiciously. Since OneManMedia was the cameraman, he technically wasnʼt a member of his group as he had free rein to move to any other groups whenever he wanted to stream.

Hence, he didnʼt have to deal with Iceheart either and simply left this to him.

”Guild Leader, how could you think my action was messing with you? This was all done according to your instruction.” OneManMedia proclaimed his innocence on the matter. There was just no way he would dare to take a jab at his guild leader when everyone knew how petty the man was.

”Fine, go back to your position.” Xu Feng waved his hand in a somewhat annoyed manner. He doubted OneManMedia would dare to pull a funny trick either, which meant that there were literally no other options aside from him.

Iceheart--- this was a familiar name to Xu Feng as she was known for her chillness and un-approachable aura. It was rumored that men would get frostbite or turned into frozen statues if they were to attempt to flirt with her.

Of course, this kind of rumor and personality was no different than the typical cliche woman to Xu Feng.

ʼHmph, if she dared to mess up the instruction, then sheʼs going to get it.ʼ Xu Feng sneered inwardly. Not a single person was eligible to escape from his harshness, with the exception of Veronica.

”Our group has been formed, so we shall cut to the chase.” Xu Feng exclaimed, and without waiting for their reply, he took the first step on the staircase.

Soon, a system prompt appeared, asking him to choose a difficulty for the dungeon. And without hesitation, Xu Feng chose the hardest mode available: Hell Mode Difficulty.

Go big or go home!

He didnʼt just spend so much time and effort just to tackle the easy mode. That was for the coward and noobs who canʼt do anything right!

As Xu Feng finished inputting everything, almost everyone else simultaneously received a system prompt, asking them to accept or reject the invitation.

”Hell Mode Difficulty?”

Sure enough, those who didnʼt know Xu Fengʼs antics were stupefied on the spot whereas Gentle Wind, Autumn Breeze, and those in the Silver Wind Guild in the past Scorched Caverns raid found it rather normal.

As if they were going to act stunned like the rest when they had personally experienced Xu Fengʼs ruthlessness and unorthodox method of dungeon raiding.

Meanwhile, some harbored some nefarious intention of rejecting the invitation.

After all, a large-scale dungeon required all participants to be willing, unlike the smaller scale such as the Scorched Caverns. In the Scorched Caverns, Xu Feng could simply just choose the difficulty as the Raid Leader and all members were unable to deny the notion whatsoever.

Just when some thought about clicking the reject prompt to irritate Xu Feng, they heard his declaration.

”Oh, by the way, those who rejected would have their names revealed, so if you donʼt mind being exposed. Feel free to click the reject prompt and waste more time!” Xu Feng kindly warned.

Honestly, he really couldnʼt care less, but he was afraid of the dungeon closing once the effect wore off and shut down again.

Large-scale dungeon raids like the Fortress of the Fallen were extremely special and it wasnʼt something you could just go whenever you felt like it. There was also a time limit imposed upon completion before the players could run it back.

This was the Divine Worldʼs method to prevent players from hoarding and grinding the dungeon repeatedly without stopping to be ahead of others.

Almost instantaneously, everyone accepted the invitation for the raid, with none daring to be put on the front as the person rejecting it.

Had it been anonymous, then they were definitely going to do it. As for testing the claim whether Xu Feng lied or not, who would be an idiot to personally test it themselves?

Shortly after, the 100 players were instantly teleported from the surface into the underground dungeon.

Simultaneously, everyone received a system prompt along with the mission.
