What if your Honkai Star Rail was like this?

Chapter 145: Chapter 145: A Palm Technique That Falls from the Sky

Svarog’s towering two-meter-plus frame cast a shadow over Skott and his group, its head flashing with a dangerous red light, palm cannons charged and ready, not to mention the visible gun barrels on its body.

As a protective robot, Svarog’s source code contained electrical signals for ”mercy” toward humans. So, when it saw this group of unknown people daring to provoke Clara, its first instinct was to resolve the situation as peacefully as possible.

If these people didn’t take the hint, Clara would undoubtedly beat them to the ground without hesitation. As for how many would survive... that was hard to say.

”For your safety, leave this place! I repeat, for your safety, leave this place!” Svarog warned.

However, it underestimated Skott’s determination to prove himself.

”Fine... fine! A wolf fallen to the plains, bullied by a robot!”

Skott’s face contorted. He pulled out a phone, looking at the swarm of drone soldiers surrounding them, and let out a cold sneer.

This backwater, rundown place used robots built with company technology, and the backdoor control keys were in his possession. Did these metal heaps think they could defy him?

Beep!

As Skott tapped the phone screen, the next moment, all the drone soldiers except Svarog abruptly stopped their actions. Their lights shifted from yellow to red, clearly under control.

Svarog, due to a ”thinking” function in its core code, retained its mental autonomy, but its body still turned, aiming its palm cannon at Clara.

To Svarog, this was the most terrifying thing.

It was originally just a robot, but seven hundred years ago, researchers gave it the ability to think, endowing it with some human emotions.

Like fear.

Its memory storage module still vividly recalled how Clara had defeated it barehanded.

And now, despite being fully conscious, it was showing hostility toward Clara again? No, it didn’t want this. It didn’t want to!

It didn’t want to die!

These black-clad people were practically begging for death!

”Hmph—hahaha!”

Seeing the control key worked, Skott burst into triumphant laughter. He brushed the dust off himself, stood up, and resumed his arrogant demeanor. ”Little brat, you think you’re tough?”

”Being tough is useless! In this world, it’s about power and connections!”

”If you’re really that tough, why don’t you try fighting these metal heaps too? Huh? Hahaha—”

”...Noisy.”

Clara didn’t even bother giving Skott a glance. She looked at Svarog in front of her. Even with a palm cannon inches away, she showed no fear, instead calmly asking, ”Svarog, are you going to be my enemy?”

If robots could sweat, Svarog would be drenched by now. It was immensely grateful that its speech module was still under its control, and it immediately explained humbly:

”Sister Clara, Sister Clara, please calm down.”

”We’re robots; all our actions come from our core code.”

”And that wild dog named Skott has a key that can control our behavior, so my brothers and I are being forced to do this. Please, go easy on us!”

Skott, hearing this: ?

Wait, you’re a massive robot, almost three times Clara’s height... and you’re scared of her?

Skott admitted this little girl had some strength, but to think a flesh-and-blood body could rival a war machine? Wake up, this isn’t Penacony.

”You, the big one, hurry up and act! Don’t waste my precious time!” Skott urged impatiently.

Svarog’s head slowly turned, looking at ”Grizzly” nearby. ”He’s talking to you.”

Grizzly, having lost its autonomy, didn’t know the meaning of fear. It lumbered forward, reaching for Clara—

Bang!

It happened in a fraction of a blink. Skott didn’t even see Clara move before Grizzly’s massive frame was sent flying, crashing down on him.

”Ow ow ow—someone, help! Get this thing off me! Hurry, it’s gonna break me!”

”...”

The company employees struggled to pull Skott out from under Grizzly.

”Fine, fine! I’ll show you what cruelty really is!”

Skott’s appearance was now utterly disheveled—shoes gone, one lens of his sunglasses shattered. He glared at Clara, grinding his teeth. ”Activate, activate, activate! All of you, activate!”

”All of you, get her! Avenge me! Avenge me!”

”Today, if I can’t take you down, I don’t deserve the title ’Black Monkey’!”

Boom boom boom...

At Skott’s command, the drone soldiers and company employees swarmed forward. The scene was so grand it looked like they were teaming up to fight a boss.

But only Svarog knew—they were fighting a boss!

Facing opponents outnumbering her hundreds to one, Clara merely smirked disdainfully, glancing at Skott.

Boom!

Clara stomped the ground, kicking up a gust of wind. Her body shot into the sky like a cannonball, becoming a tiny black dot.

”Hmph? Trying to escape?”

Skott sneered. ”Unless you can fly, I’m settling this score today!”

Whoosh—

A faint breeze stirred.

Whoosh whoosh whoosh—

Clara’s figure grew from a tiny black dot...

Swish—

The crowd began to hear the whistling wind.

”Boss, I have a bad feeling,” one company employee whispered to Skott, expression grave. ”Have you ever heard of a palm technique that falls from the sky?”

”What?” Skott looked confused. ”What do you mean? Are you saying...!”

Skree—

The whistling wind turned into a sharp, piercing howl. Skott looked up in horror at the petite figure in the sky. Clara extended a palm, diving toward their position at breakneck speed!

”No good—it’s the long-lost Ena’s Divine Palm! Run!”

A legend circulated across the galaxy:

Ena’s Divine Palm was created by the former Emanator of Order. At its peak, it was said to summon one of Ena’s hands, calling it back to the world!

But [Order]’s Ena fell long ago, so this technique should have been lost. How could a little girl from a backward world possibly know it?!

Clara softly chanted, ”Ena...”

”Come back to us!”

Boom!

With a thunderous palm strike, a tornado-like gust erupted, sending all the surrounding drone soldiers and company employees flying.

One hit, total wipeout!
