Chapter 128: Chapter 128: The War of Aeons (What the Real Footage Looks Like)

”No way, the Simulated Universe is this wild?!”

Observing the Aeons’ fight from outside, Silver Wolf’s eyes widened. ”These are Aeons? This?”

This is poetic?

Screwllum: ”Wolf, big, poss, ible.”

Silver Wolf: ?

Herta translated, ”Mr. Screwllum says, ’This galaxy is vast and can accommodate any possibility.’”

Silver Wolf was speechless.

[”Stelle, let me explain. The correct course of this history is that Qlipoth of Preservation suppresses Tayzzyronth of Propagation, and Ena of Order is devoured by Xipe of Harmony. Guide Them toward Their proper fates.”]

[”Don’t worry about failing. We can keep trying.”]

You can retry, but I don’t want to! Stelle roared internally. This wild history was so bad she didn’t even dare die, fearing she’d have to relive it in her life’s flashback.

”Maintain order, one at a time.”

As the two Aeons fought, a voice speaking common language rang out. Stelle turned to see Ena of Order descending slowly from the air. ”Fight properly. Don’t fight blindly or chaotically—fight with order.”

Here’s the real scene of ”What Aeons’ Paths Can Do During a Fight”:

Qlipoth: ”Build walls, build walls, build walls...” (swinging hammer, pounding dust)

Xipe: ”Aaaah—” (divine singing, embracing Qlipoth’s attacks)

Aha: ”Hahaha, my gosh, this is fun~” (spectating)

Ena: ”I’m in charge of maintaining order at the scene.”

Stelle (currently Akivili): ”This forbidden scene is trailblazing my brain...”

”Roar, roar, roar—”

But the participants in this War of Aeons weren’t limited to these Aeons. A sudden roar echoed, and a giant beast lunged from the side, biting Qlipoth’s rear.

No doubt, this was Oroboros of Voracity.

”Stop it! Don’t fight anymore—”

Stelle rushed behind Qlipoth, pulling back with all her might. ”Let’s talk this out!”

”Aha!”

Aha, seeing this, laughed even harder, grabbing Xipe’s waist and pulling Them back. ”No fighting, no fighting~”

With the human and Aeon’s intervention, the two Aeons were finally separated. Ena stepped forward. ”Why are you two fighting?”

Qlipoth: ”Build walls, build walls! Build walls—build walls? Build walls, build walls, build—”

Ena patiently listened to Qlipoth’s ”explanation,” then turned to Xipe. ”Your turn.”

Xipe: ”The world should be filled with harmony. We should connect with each other. Qlipoth building walls to seal the world is utterly detestable.”

Qlipoth: ”Build walls! Build!”

Ena: ”Mhm, both sides make valid points. How about this: without Order, there’s no structure. From now on, follow my arrangement. Qlipoth works Monday, Wednesday, Friday; Xipe works Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday; you both work overtime on Sunday. The rest of the time, you can handle—”

”Roar, roar, roar—”

As Ena played peacemaker, Oroboros suddenly let out a howl, biting off a chunk of stone from Qlipoth’s rear and swallowing it.

Qlipoth raised Their hammer and struck Oroboros hard. ”Build walls!”

Oroboros roared back and started fighting Qlipoth.

Stelle: ...

She finally understood why this was called the ”Simulated Universe.”

Buzz, buzz, buzz—

But the farce wasn’t over. When the sound of insect wings buzzing rang out, Stelle knew the main character of this event had arrived.

Tayzzyronth of Propagation.

Their form emerged from the void, with flies and mosquitoes hatching from Their body. Within minutes, the space was filled with swarming insects.

Buzz—

The sound of flapping wings lingered in Stelle’s ears, driving her up the wall. Can’t flies and mosquitoes just go extinct? Do they really need to exist?

”The universe... needs Propagation...”

Tayzzyronth murmured, slowly approaching the other Aeons.

Ena stepped forward first, tone stern. ”The galaxy needs order. You can’t just... What are you doing?”

Tayzzyronth grabbed Ena’s arm, Their hand brushing Ena’s chest. ”Come, let’s propagate...”

Ena froze, then erupted in anger, fighting Tayzzyronth.

...

Stelle stared at the chaotic scene, unsure where to begin.

[”Stelle, find a way to stop Qlipoth from wasting time with Oroboros. Get Them to help Ena.”]

I know that... Stelle grumbled to herself. Gritting her teeth, she stepped forward. ”Qlipoth, why don’t you deal with Propagation first? They’re a bigger threat to your Path.”

Qlipoth: ”Build! Build walls!”

Stelle: ”...”

She turned to Xipe. ”The universe is a harmonious family. We can’t let Propagation ruin it. Go help Ena.”

Xipe nodded, flying behind Ena. ”The world needs seven days of rest, Ena. I’ve had my eye on you for a while.”

With that, They hugged Ena, chanting Harmony’s song to instill thoughts: ”Imagine a world with only seven days of rest. No work, no overtime, just wages, no need to care about others, doing whatever you want...”

Ena: ”No... I work for joy, not wages...”

Stelle: ”...”

Now she got it. In this War of Aeons, not one of Them was human.

Qlipoth seemed honest and simple, but the moment They saw Oroboros, it was like Their mother died—They’d charge in recklessly to fight to the death.

Oroboros was even less human, obsessed with Qlipoth’s stones. Even when Qlipoth hammered Them, They just chewed silently.

And Xipe, always eyeing Ena’s body. They’re in the middle of a fight, and you hug Them? What’s that about?

Tayzzyronth was a mindless machine that only propagated, and Aha, who seemed to be helping, was just here for the entertainment from start to finish.

Buzz, buzz—

At that moment, another insect flew past Stelle’s ear, suddenly making her realize something.

Right... she wasn’t here to watch Aeons fight. She was here to redirect the conflict.

Stelle grabbed a few insects and approached Qlipoth and Oroboros. Seizing the moment, she fed them to Oroboros.

Oroboros: Chew, chew, chew, chew—

Oroboros: Hmm? Nice, rich protein.

And so, Oroboros abandoned Qlipoth, following the scent toward Tayzzyronth.

Qlipoth raised Their hammer behind Them. ”Build walls!”

Meanwhile, Tayzzyronth was fiercely fighting Ena when They felt a sting in Their rear. Turning, They saw Oroboros biting Them.

Qlipoth chased after, shouting ”Build walls!” upon seeing Oroboros, then swung Their hammer down. But Oroboros wasn’t dumb and dodged—

The hammer landed squarely on Tayzzyronth.

Bang!

A large chunk of Tayzzyronth’s body shattered.

Qlipoth froze but, seeing Oroboros unscathed, Their base code triggered, raising the hammer again. ”Build walls! Build walls!!”

Bang!

Oroboros dodged again, and Tayzzyronth took another hit.

”Build! Build!” Qlipoth, enraged, kept swinging.

Bang!

Tayzzyronth, deceased.

...

Thus, the final War of Aeons in the Swarm Disaster ended with ”Propagation’s fall and Voracity’s retreat.”

Oh, and of course, a certain peacemaker betrayed by Their teammate. According to a masked eyewitness, Ena’s last words before death were, ”May the world have no days of rest.”
