What if your Honkai Star Rail was like this?

Chapter 117: Chapter 117: Viewing Extra: Preview PV

The preview paused at this point, and March 7th widened her beautiful eyes, her small mouth slightly agape, staring at the scene where ”she” smashed a Voidranger with a single spear strike—a rare moment of silence for her.

”Pfft—”

After a brief silence, Stelle suddenly couldn’t hold it in and burst into laughter: ”Hahaha—got it! No wonder the sender’s name wasn’t fully written; it’s a fictional historian, haha—”

”You! You’re laughing! I’ll make you stop laughing!”

A flush of red crept onto March 7th’s pretty face as she fiercely pinched the flesh at Stelle’s waist. ”What’s wrong with this girl using Dan Heng’s spear in his place? Sure, it might not quite match my vibe, but isn’t it pretty cool?!”

Dan Heng didn’t say anything. He looked at the Cloud Piercer in March 7th’s hands on the screen, a faint sense of unease creeping into his heart.

If March 7th was wielding his Cloud Piercer, then what about him? What would he become next?

”Keep going! I want to see more!”

Stelle snatched the remote from March 7th’s hands, gleefully pressing the play button—

[”Quick, activate the elevator! It’s the only way to shake off these Voidrangers and get back to the safe cabin!”]

On the screen, the trio dashed toward the central elevator, but the scene suddenly shifted. Stelle was hit by something, as if struck by a massive elbow, her body sent flying backward, tracing a perfect arc through the air.

Stelle’s body soared far before crashing to the ground like a dead fish, one hand outstretched, her index finger pointing forward in defiance.

”...”

”Pfft—”

This time, it was March 7th’s turn to laugh.

Beep.

Stelle, furious, paused the video and complained, ”Which fictional historian wrote this plot?! Why did they buff March so much and nerf me? They must’ve swapped my script with March’s!”

”Humph, humph, humph~ That’s what they call the wheel of fate turning!” March 7th said smugly. ”Sure, it might slightly tarnish my cute, beautiful girl image, but at least I’m the team’s powerhouse. Stelle, just accept reality!”

”Give me the remote, let’s keep watching!”

”No way!”

March 7th reached for the remote in Stelle’s hands, but Stelle refused to let go. March 7th simply pounced on Stelle, tickling her relentlessly: ”Give it up, give it up, give it up!”

”March... you... you’re so heavy!”

Stelle stretched her arm holding the remote as far as she could. While the two wrestled over it, Dan Heng quietly took the remote from Stelle’s hand and said solemnly, ”If we’re watching the video, let’s watch it properly. No more pausing.”

”Even though you two are a bit out-of-character in this, I think the adaptation is quite creative.”

”For fairness, I’ll hold onto the remote.”

Stelle: ”No objections.”

March 7th gave a light hum: ”Fine, but we agree—no matter who looks silly next, no more fighting over the remote.”

”No fighting, no fighting. I refuse to believe I’ll keep getting the short end of the stick,” Stelle said, unwilling to back down.

Seeing the two reach an agreement, Dan Heng pressed the button, and the video resumed—

[—”Of five people, three must pay a price.”]

A deep, magnetic voice rang out. Hearing this voice and line, Dan Heng’s brow twitched almost imperceptibly. This plot...

[”Imbibitor Lunae, I’ve finally found you, hahaha!”]

In the scene, Blade chased Dan Heng with his sword raised, while the latter could only barely parry. Anyone could see Dan Heng was struggling, completely overwhelmed!

[”Time to pay your debts! For pretending to be me, stealing my deliveries, cutting my internet cable, cheating in games, spying on me spying on Baiheng, impersonating Baiheng to deceive my true feelings, cross-dressing as my girlfriend, and ruining my reputation...”] (An absurdly long sentence)

Beep.

Dan Heng instinctively pressed pause and blurted out, ”That wasn’t me. I didn’t do that.”

”...”

Silence fell around them, and the gazes of the other four and Pom-Pom all fixed on Dan Heng, making him feel like he was sitting on pins and needles.

”It’s all fictional,” Dan Heng emphasized again.

”...We know,” Stelle said, looking puzzled. ”I didn’t suspect you at all, but now that you’re explaining, it’s kind of... you know what I mean, right?”

March 7th: ”Mhm, mhm.”

Dan Heng: ”...”

”I’m calling the company’s logistics to sue the sender of this package,” Dan Heng said.

Welt pushed up his glasses, smoothly taking the remote from Dan Heng’s hand with a chuckle. ”Everyone, don’t worry about it. These days, all sorts of wild fan edits exist—it’s normal.”

”I’ve seen people slapped with AI models to recreate famous scenes. Compared to that, this is way better.”

”The galaxy is vast, with room for every possibility. Honestly, I think this is pretty interesting. Let’s keep watching.”

”As for the remote, I’ll hold onto it.”

Seeing Welt speak up, the trio stopped their bickering and continued watching—

[”Let your mind and body cool off.”]

The scene shifted, and Welt suddenly entered the frame, wielding his cane. With a single strike, he precisely hit the back of Blade’s head, effortlessly stabilizing the situation.

Seeing this, Welt felt a small surge of pride:

It seemed the creator of this video respected his character. Though the three youngsters were portrayed with some differences, his image as a seasoned veteran remained calm and steady, and his strength seemed significantly boosted...

[”Hmph, against Stellaron Hunters, we don’t need to hold back.”]

[”Star of Eden, Zero Rated Power, Simulated Black Hole!”]

[”Tear him apart! Heh heh heh—”]

Welt: ...

What was this oddly familiar feeling?

March 7th, from the side: ”Eek—Uncle Yang feels so scary here.”

Stelle: ”Mhm, mhm, same.”

Dan Heng: ”A bit unrestrained.”

Welt: ...

Welt’s mouth twitched. No, no, as the senior, he had to stay composed in front of the youngsters. It was just a fan edit—treat it like a joke.

Thinking this, Welt picked up his water cup and casually took a sip—

But to his surprise, the scene shifted, and the preview ended. The next character’s introduction and inner monologue dealt him another blow:

[—”Power, ideals, home. When I inherited the name Welt, I also inherited everything of that man...”]

”Pfft—”

Welt spat out his water. This line was pure hell for him. Who dug up his Quantum Sea backstory?! This wasn’t just slander—it was outright character assassination!

March 7th muttered, ”So chuuni.”

Stelle nodded: ”And it feels a bit villain-like.”

Dan Heng: ”They say fan edits reflect, to some extent, how the creator sees the character...”
