Deep Space Scavenging, Hand Over Alien Warships at the Beginning

Chapter 145 Xingtian - Demon God DanceSpace was silent, save for the debris tumbling in the void.

The black mecha known as the ”xingtian demon god” did not give the Three-Eyed Race any chance to catch their breath. It didn’t seem to be flying through space so much as sprinting through the void. The thrusters beneath its feet spat out streams of deep blue antimatter particles, and with every change in direction, it left zigzagging afterimages in the vacuum.

It was too fast.

The Three-Eyed Race’s fire-control radar had only just locked onto the black dot when, the very next second, the alarm turned into a shrill, prolonged wail.

Lin Yuan didn’t even bother to evade the sporadic laser beams. A faint purple light shimmered across the surface of the titanium alloy armor—the manifestation of the ”Void Body” trait. The lasers struck it like mud oxen entering the sea, failing to stir even a single ripple.

”Clang—”

Although sound cannot travel in a vacuum, every witness automatically filled in the sound of metal clashing in their minds.

The xingtian mecha drew the greatsword from its back with a reverse grip.

It was a heavy, edge-less blade, constructed purely from high-density alloy. It was thirty meters long and as heavy and imposing as a tombstone.

But the moment Lin Yuan gripped the hilt, his SSS-rank talent, ”Void Affinity,” erupted fully.

Dark purple Void Energy surged maniacally down the mechanical arm and into the blade. The originally blunt, heavy edge instantly extended into a hundred-meter-long, transparent sword aura. That wasn’t light; it was a tear in space, forced open.

Lin Yuan maneuvered the mecha, the waist engines exploding with power as he drove the machine into an incredibly violent spinning slash.

”Break!”

A black whirlwind swept past three ”Tick”-class frigates arranged in a triangular formation.

There was no resistance at all.

It was like a hot knife cutting through butter. The three warships covered in bio-armor, along with their prized energy shields, were instantly sliced in two by that Void Energy sword aura. The cut was as smooth as a mirror. It wasn’t until two seconds later that the internal reactors reacted, exploding in a chain reaction.

Three massive fireballs erupted behind Lin Yuan, casting the black mecha as an Asura returned from hell.

”A devil... this is a devil!”

In the communication channel, the Three-Eyed Race’s command network descended into total chaos.

”Mental interference! Use mental interference, quickly!” a Three-Eyed Race priest screamed in the channel. ”No matter how strong his physical body is, the mind is the weakness of low-level creatures! Focus fire on his sea of consciousness!”

Inside the dozens of remaining warships, hundreds of Three-Eyed Race ”priests” simultaneously opened the third eye on their foreheads.

An invisible mental ripple swept toward Lin Yuan like a tsunami. This was the trump card the Three-Eyed Race used to rule this star sector; they had once used this technique to instantly turn an entire fleet of a civilization into vegetables.

Lin Yuan sat in the cockpit, watching the mental readings on his radar skyrocket, a mocking smile curling his lips.

”Trying to play mind games with me?”

He closed his eyes. He didn’t construct any defensive barriers; instead, he completely opened his mental defenses, like a monster opening its maw into an abyss.

Boom!

The vast mental attack rushed into Lin Yuan’s brain instantly.

However, those Three-Eyed Race priests did not hear the scream of a collapsing consciousness. To their horror, they discovered that once their mental power rushed in, it was like diving into a bottomless black hole. Deep within that black hole, a pair of cold, golden eyes slowly opened.

It was the pressure of a divine status.

”Get back.”

Lin Yuan let out a soft shout. His SSS-rank mental power surged upstream, following the connection channel the enemy had established, and pushed back with ten times the intensity!

An extremely bizarre scene unfolded on the battlefield.

Dozens of Three-Eyed Race warships suddenly lost control, careening wildly like headless flies. And inside the command cabins of these warships, the heads of hundreds of Three-Eyed Race priests, like overripe watermelons, one after another—

Pop! Pop! Pop!

Red and white gore splattered across the screens. The mental backlash instantly annihilated every enemy that had attempted to invade Lin Yuan’s consciousness.

”Is this what you call the ’Holy Race’?”

Lin Yuan maneuvered the mecha to step onto a burning piece of ship wreckage, pointing his ship-slaying blade directly at the gray planet. His voice echoed across the entire battlefield via the public channel, ”You aren’t even fit to carry my shoes.”

Fear.

Pure fear spread among the remnants of the Three-Eyed Race forces. They did not fear death, but they feared this slaughter that transcended their comprehension.

”Warning. Extremely high energy reaction detected on the planetary surface.” gaia’s calm voice sounded right on cue. ”The enemy’s home planet is deploying heavy units.”

No sooner had she spoken than the thick layer of industrial smog over Proxima Centauri b was suddenly torn apart.

Five massive warships, each over five kilometers long, slowly ascended. They no longer had that disgusting biomass style; instead, they were covered in heavy crystalline armor. The prow of each ship featured a massive triangular crystal pillar, emitting a chilling red light.

This was the main fleet of the Three-Eyed Race, the ”Divine Punishment”-class battleships.

”This is Commander Zaka!” The voice of the new enemy Commander was filled with hysterical madness. ”All units, listen up! Ignore friendly fire! Charge your main cannons! Vaporize that black monster along with this entire sector of space!”

Five thick, red beams of destruction began to converge at the tips of the crystal pillars.

”Commander, tactical evasion is advised.” Although gaia said this, there wasn’t a hint of panic in her tone. ”The enemy’s energy level exceeds the critical threshold.”

”Evasion my ass.”

Lin Yuan looked at the five massive ships, his eyes burning with wild fire. ”Since the big guys have come out, I don’t have to perform this solo act anymore.”

He yanked the control stick, and the mecha surged forward instead of retreating, charging straight into the light of destruction.

At the same time, the space behind him suddenly trembled violently.

”Who said we only have one ship?”

Lin Yuan’s laughter echoed through the channel.

Boom—!

In the darkness behind Lin Yuan, the Daxia ”dragon sparrow” finally finished its long main cannon cooldown, and on its flanks, hundreds of retrofitted human frigates revealed their formidable presence.

”Fire!” Chen Weiguo’s aged yet powerful roar traveled across light-years.

There were no flashy beams; human weaponry was filled with the violent aesthetics of the Industrial Revolution.

Thousands of electromagnetically accelerated solid tungsten rods, mixed with hundreds of missiles carrying antimatter warheads, crossed over Lin Yuan’s mecha like a steel rainstorm, smashing head-on into the Three-Eyed Race’s main fleet that had just ascended.

This was the first head-on collision between the two civilizations.

One side was a bizarre combination of biology and crystal; the other was the ultimate accumulation of steel and gunpowder.

Space transformed into a field of brilliant fireworks.

An antimatter missile precisely drilled into the charging crystal muzzle of a Three-Eyed Race battleship.

Rumble!

That five-kilometer-long behemoth didn’t even have time to fire its first shot before it was blown into scattered debris by the internal explosion.

”Nice shot!” Lin Yuan whistled in the cockpit.

This was humanity. Even if their technology started late, as long as they had a gun in their hand, they dared to knock the teeth out of even a god.

Taking advantage of the chaos in the enemy lines, the xingtian mecha, like a bolt of black lightning, instantly passed through the dense web of fire.

Lin Yuan’s target was clear—the largest flagship in the center.

”gaia, calculate the boarding path!”

”Path generated. Ramming spike adjusted.”

”Then ram me in!”

The xingtian mecha retracted its greatsword, and the ramming spikes on its shoulders deployed at full power. Like a battering ram, it smashed fiercely into the flagship’s command tower.

”Stop him! Quickly, stop him!” Commander Zaka, inside the flagship, watched the rapidly growing black shadow, terrified out of his wits.

But all his defensive measures were merely decorations in front of that unreasonable mecha.

Boom!

Amidst the loud sound of tearing metal, the xingtian mecha smashed through the flagship’s outer wall and killed its way directly into the interior of the ship.

The battle ended within ten minutes.

When Lin Yuan grabbed Commander Zaka by the neck and threw him onto the control console like a dead dog, the outcome of the entire battle was decided.

”Don’t... don’t kill me...” Zaka’s three eyes were filled with tears and snot, his whole body trembling. ”We surrender! We can pay reparations! We’ll give you whatever you want!”

Lin Yuan opened his mecha’s visor, looking down at this so-called ”higher life form” with cold eyes.

”Where is the key?”

Zaka shuddered, his eyes subconsciously drifting toward a red button on the control console.

Lin Yuan frowned, a feeling of extreme danger rising in his heart.

”What did you do?”

Zaka suddenly let out a neurotic, shrill laugh and lunged at the button: ”Since you want to take it, then we can all die together!!”

Pfft!

A Void Blade instantly severed Zaka’s arm.

But it was already too late.

That red button had already been pressed.

[Warning! Ultra-high frequency gravitational wave emission detected!] gaia’s voice sounded urgent for the first time. [Target: The main star of Proxima Centauri!]

Lin Yuan jerked his head around to look out the porthole.

He saw that on the surface of Proxima Centauri b, a massive launch silo disguised as a mountain had suddenly opened wide.

A black metal needle, ten kilometers long, with flames capable of tearing apart the crust spewing from its tail, broke through the atmosphere in a decisive posture. It did not fire at the human fleet, but shot straight toward the nearest star—Proxima Centauri.

”That is... a resonance probe?” Academician Wang’s terrified voice cut into the channel. ”Lunatics! These lunatics! That’s used to trigger stellar flares! Do they want the entire star system to be buried with us?!”

Lin Yuan looked at the black needle speeding away, his heart contracting violently.

They hadn’t even gotten the key yet, and these bastards were going to blow everything up?
