Honkai: Reborn as the Corrosion Herrscher, Living as a Fake Elysia

After several months of training, Elysia could finally exchange a few moves with Fu Hua.

One day, Elysia and Fu Hua suddenly received a mission.

When they received the mission, they were still training.

After exchanging a glance, the two of them ran towards Theresa’s office.

Upon arriving at the office,

“Theresa, what happened?” Elysia asked, looking at the frowning Theresa.

“Hmm, a branch requested support. We’re closer, so you two need to go and assist,” Theresa said, sending the mission details to their communicators.

“Manila?” Elysia whispered.

“Yes, the branch there discovered a Honkai Beast swarm, and their current squad can’t stop it, so they requested our support,” Theresa explained, looking at the two of them.

“Okay, we’ll depart now,” Elysia nodded, just about to leave.

“No need to rush. I’ve already notified them to prepare a small battleship. You two can just take the battleship over,” Theresa quickly told Elysia, who was about to leave.

“Furthermore, besides you two, there are also squads from other branches going to provide support,” Theresa added.

Hearing Theresa’s words, Elysia was no longer in such a hurry, as their transportation wasn’t even ready yet.

“Is the situation over there very serious?” she asked, walking over to Theresa’s side.

“If the information isn’t wrong, it’s very serious,” Theresa said, displaying the reconnaissance data on the table.

Looking at the Honkai Beast swarm in the video, both Elysia and Fu Hua’s expressions grew solemn.

“With the strength of the squad stationed in Manila, they won’t be able to resist these Honkai Beasts,” Theresa stated seriously.

Looking at the information of the squad stationed there, Elysia saw the details of a B-rank Valkyrie.

Anna Shaniat, 16 years old, B-rank Valkyrie.

Upon seeing the photo, Elysia confirmed the identity of this Anna.

She was the future herrscher of ice in the game.

Or rather, the Herrscher of the Rimestar.

Elysia’s impression of her was mostly of that set of Stigmata.

Beyond that, there was no further impression.

Theresa pointed to the squad’s emblem, which was an ice-blue lotus.

“This mission is to support this Snow Lotus Squad and, at the same time, rescue as many ordinary people as possible,” Theresa said seriously.

“Finally, make sure to protect yourselves. I don’t want to see you two get hurt, understood?”

“Alright, Theresa, don’t worry! With me and Miss Fu Hua, who could possibly hurt us?” Elysia walked around the table and ruffled Theresa’s hair.

After messing up Theresa’s hair, Elysia directly pulled Fu Hua and jumped out of the window.

After these days of training, Elysia had finally overcome her fear of heights, at least not at the current altitude.

Theresa leaned by the window, tidying her hair, and watched Elysia waving from downstairs.

“You two must be careful,” Theresa whispered, watching Elysia and Fu Hua run towards logistics.

After a while, when she could no longer see their backs, Theresa sat back down in her seat.

The mission had already been dispatched; worrying now wouldn’t help.

After all, within the academy, the most suitable high-ranking Valkyries who could handle things independently were Elysia and Fu Hua.

Himeko still had classes, and she couldn’t easily leave the Far East region. Theresa was even less at ease with the other Valkyries.

Coincidentally, this mission could be considered practical training for Elysia and Fu Hua.

Upon arriving at the logistics area,

Elysia looked at the small battleship that was still being prepared.

When they arrived, logistics had already prepared the battleship; it just needed to finish loading the support supplies, and then the battleship could take off.

As Elysia and Fu Hua walked to the battleship, someone from the battleship came over and spoke.

“Excuse me, are you Miss Elysia and Miss Fu Hua?”

“Yes, it’s us,” Elysia replied with a smile.

“Alright, ladies, you can board the battleship first; the battleship will depart shortly.” After speaking, the person returned to her position and continued her work.

After boarding the battleship,

“Miss Fu Hua, this is Elysia’s first time riding a floating battleship!” Elysia said, leaning on the railing and looking outside.

“Mm-hmm,” Fu Hua simply nodded.

She didn’t know what to say; after all, it was just riding a battleship.

“Miss Fu Hua, will the battleship’s flight be bumpy?” Elysia asked curiously.

“No,” Fu Hua shook her head.

The technology for floating battleships was already very mature, of course, only Schicksal possessed this technology.

Elysia kept asking curious questions about the floating battleship, and Fu Hua could only answer with what she knew or didn’t know.

As for the principle of the floating battleship, she wasn’t very clear either; after all, she only needed to fight.

Not long after, all the supplies had been loaded.

With a slight tremor, Elysia watched the ground outside get further and further away from her.

The battleship ascended vertically like that.

Then, Elysia felt a force pushing her backward.

Elysia, who hadn’t reacted in time, couldn’t help but take a step back, bumping right into Fu Hua.

“Be careful. When the battleship flies, you need to control your body well,” Fu Hua said, steadying Elysia.

“This is my first time riding a battleship! I didn’t know!” Elysia pouted.

She didn’t know there would be such a strong thrust the moment the battleship flew forward.

“Mm-hmm,” Fu Hua just stood beside Elysia.

After getting used to it for a bit, Elysia and Fu Hua watched the clouds rapidly passing by outside the battleship.

“Miss Fu Hua, the battleship’s speed is so fast!” Elysia said excitedly, looking outside.

“It is very fast,” Fu Hua nodded.

“It’s much faster than the aircraft we used to ride,” Elysia said, looking at the distant ground.

“If we traveled like this every time, we’d reach our destination very quickly.”

“That’s not possible, because the consumption of a floating battleship is much greater than that of an aircraft,” Fu Hua also said, looking outside.

“Oh, but I can dream, can’t I? After all, such fantasy is humanity’s greatest advantage!” Elysia faced Fu Hua, smiling.

Fu Hua only frowned slightly; she didn’t quite understand that sentence.

“Miss Fu Hua, you have to think about it. In the past, would anyone have thought of something like a floating battleship? Wasn’t it because someone thought of it and then put it into action that it was finally created?”

Elysia said with a light laugh, looking at the somewhat confused Fu Hua.

“Is that so? I understand,” Fu Hua nodded.

What Elysia said was correct; indeed, one must first think. If one doesn’t even think, how can anything that follows come to be?
