Honkai: Reborn as the Corrosion Herrscher, Living as a Fake Elysia

“Hmph, of course. With Theresa here, how would they dare to bully you?” Theresa said, swallowing her food and tilting her head back.

“Yes, yes, Lady Theresa is very impressive! ♪~” Elysia said, stroking Theresa’s head.

“Don’t pat my head. Since you’re here, have some food. Once we’re done eating, we’ll leave.” Theresa said, handing over the chicken leg she had just taken a bite of.

Elysia took the chicken leg and slowly began to eat.

“Elysia, is this company really a normal company?” Himeko asked in a low voice.

“Sister Himeko, what’s wrong?” Elysia asked, looking at Himeko.

“I feel like this company is very abnormal. Before I came, I looked at this company’s information.” Himeko glanced around.

“Small-scale Honkai events frequently occur in the area where this company was established,” Himeko said gravely.

“I know this company sells anti-Honkai Energy vaccines, so it’s normal for Honkai to occur where it’s established.” Himeko placed her wine glass on the table.

“However, the timing of the Honkai occurrences is basically similar to the time this company was established.” Himeko finished speaking and looked at Elysia.

“Sister Himeko, this company does have some peculiar aspects.”

“But this company cooperates with Schicksal, so what can we do?” Elysia shook her head and said.

Hearing Elysia say this, Himeko instantly became disheartened. “That’s right. A company that cooperates with Schicksal must have been approved by the Overseer. We are just Valkyries, so what can we do?”

Theresa listened to them both, took a sip of bitter gourd juice, and said, “All branches of this company have been approved by headquarters.”

“Furthermore, I also find some things strange about this company. The Honkai that occurred when Himeko and I arrived was too coincidental,” Theresa said, wiping her hands with a tissue.

“Theresa, was the Honkai Beast you encountered so difficult that even you and Sister Himeko together had trouble dealing with it?” Elysia asked, frowning.

“Yes, it was very troublesome, as if it was specifically targeting the two of us,” Theresa said.

“Elysia, regarding the Honkai Beast we encountered, let’s talk about it after we leave here.” Himeko glared at Theresa, telling her not to say anything more.

“So, are we leaving now?”

“Yes, in a moment, go tell the person in charge to leave with us. This tall building gives me a very bad feeling.” Himeko said, clenching her fists.

“Okay, Sister Himeko. I’ll go talk to the person in charge and say that the inspection is over.” Elysia nodded.

“Good. Then, in a moment, we’ll meet on the helipad on the roof.” After speaking, Himeko pulled Theresa, wanting to leave.

“Himeko, wait! I haven’t finished eating yet! Just a moment!” Theresa watched the delicious food on the table move further and further away from her.

“You can eat whatever you want when we get back. For now, be good and leave here first,” Himeko said firmly.

Watching the two of them leave the lounge.

Elysia whispered, “As expected of Sister Himeko, she’s always so decisive.”

“Alright, Miss Raven, stop hiding. I’ve already seen you.” Elysia called out into the distance.

Hearing Elysia’s words, Raven walked over from afar.

“Miss Elysia’s eyesight is really good,” Raven said, sitting opposite Elysia.

“You didn’t even intend to hide. Besides, a lovely young lady like Miss Raven, Elysia spotted you right away! ♪~” Elysia said with a smile.

“Sigh~” Raven rubbed her forehead. “I just heard what you and your companion were saying. Are you leaving?”

“Oh dear, could it be that Miss Raven is reluctant for Elysia to leave? ♪~”

“Alright, alright, I really can’t get along with your personality. I hope we never have to work together. Anyway, welcome to come here next time.” Raven said, handing Elysia a business card.

After taking the business card, Elysia immediately took out her communicator and added the contact information from it.

Raven was not at all surprised by Elysia’s actions.

“Next time, you can find me if you come to Sky Dome City. This is what Mr. Gray Snake instructed. Thank you for not telling those two about Shencheng Pharmaceutical, and I hope you won’t tell anyone in the future either.” Raven sighed.

“If Elysia had told them just now, what would have happened?” Elysia asked curiously.

“Nothing, it would just make you temporarily lose a piece of your memory,” Raven said, yawning.

“Wow, Raven, if you say it like that, won’t Mr. Gray Snake blame you?”

“Please, Miss Elysia, I’m already working overtime. Mr. Gray Snake can’t control what I want to do. Besides, Mr. Gray Snake didn’t say I couldn’t tell you.” Raven looked at Elysia with half-closed eyes.

Her gaze seemed to say, “Why would you ask such a question?”

“Eh? Does Mr. Gray Snake trust Elysia that much?” Elysia asked in surprise.

“You’ve already met the Lord, and you’ve even entered the Elysian Realm. You could say you’re already a part of World Serpent. What else can he say?”

After saying this, Raven stood up directly.

“Alright, if you’re leaving, hurry up and go. Anyway, although I don’t know what agreement you reached with Mr. Gray Snake, it’s best to stay away from him. After all, being targeted by a snake is not a good thing.”

After speaking, Raven walked directly outside.

Watching Raven like this, Elysia burst out laughing.

Hearing Elysia’s laughter, Raven walked even faster.

Elysia hadn’t expected Raven’s personality to be like this. Although she knew Raven wasn’t entirely on World Serpent’s side.

But she didn’t expect her to push people away.

Indeed, Raven, who can rescue children, is at least not a complete villain.

After destroying the business card in her hand, Elysia also stood up and walked out of the lounge.

At the same time, Elysia hacked into all the visible surveillance cameras of Shencheng Pharmaceutical, and after briefly understanding the situation, she walked towards the helipad on the roof.

Seeing the full scope of Shencheng Pharmaceutical like this, at least the subsequent mission report could be written.

If she just made it up, what if someone came to verify it later?

So, it was better to be safe.

Upon reaching the roof, Elysia jogged over to Himeko and the others.

“How was it? Did the person in charge let you leave?” Himeko asked.

“Of course! The inspection is complete, so of course we can leave!” Elysia walked directly into the cabin.

“That’s good.” Himeko nodded and sat next to Elysia.

Then she called out to the cockpit.

“We can depart now.”

“Yes, Major Himeko.” A reply came from inside the cockpit.

Only after confirming that the aircraft had taken off did Himeko breathe a sigh of relief.

“Elysia, what exactly is the situation inside this company?” Himeko asked, looking at the tall building below.

“I’m not very clear either. At least, from what’s visible on the surface, this company is a legitimate one,” Elysia said.

“But some of the people inside are not normal employees,” Elysia also looked out the window.

“Hmm? What do you mean?” Himeko turned her head to look at the young girl next to her, wanting to hear her insights.

“The rules inside this company are very strict, and a considerable number of people have been trained.”

“Hey, hey, don’t overthink it, you two. How could a company my grandfather cooperates with just be selling potions? It’s probably another force my grandfather cultivated.” Theresa interrupted their conversation.

But hearing Theresa’s words, the two exchanged glances, both seeing helplessness in each other’s eyes.

“Don’t I know what kind of person my grandfather is? Shencheng Pharmaceutical might just be something he set up,” Theresa said.

“So even if it really has a problem, what can we do? We can’t just yell at my grandfather that this company is haunted, can we?” Theresa spread her hands.

The two were left speechless by Theresa’s words.

Because what Theresa said… made a lot of sense.

For such a large company, if Schicksal cooperates with it, they would definitely investigate its background.

Since Schicksal had agreed, their subordinates couldn’t voice their opinions even if they had any.
