Honkai: Reborn as the Corrosion Herrscher, Living as a Fake Elysia

In her dream, Elysia arrived at a platform above the clouds.

Fu Hua stood before her.

“Fu Hua! Wait! Elysia doesn’t want to train right now!” Elysia exclaimed immediately upon seeing her.

“Mmm, you already trained this morning. You don’t need to train now.” Fu Hua walked over to Elysia, nodding as she spoke.

“Phew.” Hearing what Fu Hua said, Elysia sighed in relief.

“Elysia thought she’d have to keep training ♬~” Elysia sat cross-legged directly on the ground.

Although she didn’t feel any soreness now, she somehow felt she shouldn’t be standing so easily at this moment.

“Relax here for a bit. You worked hard during this morning’s training.” Fu Hua said, standing beside Elysia.

Listening to Fu Hua’s words, Elysia’s eyes widened as she stared at Fu Hua.

Her gaze seemed to say, ‘Who are you! My Fu Hua wouldn’t be so caring!’

Seeing Elysia’s expression, Fu Hua sighed.

“I am not an inflexible person. Training should be progressive. Today’s training has met its standard, so no extra training is needed.” Fu Hua walked to the edge of the platform, looking at the clouds outside.

“Oh, I thought, Fu Hua, you’d just train me no matter what.” Elysia said, lying on the ground.

She looked up at the blue sky.

“Fu Hua, I’ve wanted to ask before, where is this platform?” Elysia asked curiously.

“This is merely a dream.”

“No, no, Elysia means, where is this platform in reality? The sky looks so beautiful from here ♬~” Elysia said with a smile.

“Just looking at a sky like this makes me feel so much lighter, like I can grasp anything.” Elysia stretched a hand towards the sky.

“This is the summit of Mount Taixu.” Fu Hua didn’t understand what Elysia meant by those words, but she knew the location of this platform.

“The summit of Mount Taixu? It’s a shame that last time I went to Mount Taixu with Fu Hua, I didn’t get to see the summit.” Elysia said with some regret.

“There will be opportunities to go.” Fu Hua said, looking at Elysia.

“Oh, Fu Hua, next time Elysia goes to Mount Taixu, she won’t encounter illusions anymore, right?” Elysia turned her head to look at Fu Hua.

“No, Mount Taixu’s trial only needs to be passed once.” Fu Hua walked over to Elysia and sat down cross-legged on the spot.

“Don’t overthink it. Just rest here for a moment. This place will quickly restore your mental fatigue.” After saying that, Fu Hua closed her eyes.

Hearing Fu Hua say this, Elysia closed her eyes on the ground.

She felt the surrounding tranquility, with an occasional gentle breeze blowing over her.

Her fatigue also seemed to be blown away by the wind.

Before long, Elysia fell asleep in the dream.

Looking at the sleeping Elysia, Fu Hua opened her eyes.

She felt a bit helpless now. She hadn’t expected that someone’s deepest thought in a dream would still be to sleep.

But since she wanted to sleep, she might as well let her.

The space formed by this dream slowly disappeared.

Elysia floated in the air.

Soon, Elysia felt someone poking her face.

“Bronya, look, Elysia’s face is so soft.”

“Bronya believes Elysia is about to wake up.” Bronya saw Elysia’s eyebrows twitching.

As Bronya’s words fell, Elysia also opened her eyes.

But Kiana was still poking her.

“Kiana, Elysia is already awake. Can you please stop poking?” Elysia propped herself up with her arms.

Her arms were still a bit sore, but at least she could move them.

“Nanan, Elysia, why are you sleeping at home? Didn’t you go train with Fu Hua Class Monitor?” Kiana asked curiously.

“I was just tired.” Elysia said, looking at her hands.

“Eh? Was today’s training volume really that high? Even Elysia couldn’t keep going?” Kiana’s eyes widened.

“Kiana, if you want, Elysia can put in a good word with Sister Himeko and let you experience it too ♬~” Elysia said with a smile.

Seeing Elysia’s smile, Kiana shivered, feeling as if Elysia was about to trick her again.

“Elysia, never mind, I love to study!” With that, Kiana scurried out of the living room.

Training with Fu Hua Class Monitor, and at Elysia’s intensity? Did she think Kiana was an idiot? That would be deadly!

Kiana thought this as she ran upstairs.

“Sigh, it seems Kiana can get scared too.” Elysia shook her head with some regret.

“Even if Kiana is an idiot, she can still be scared, Elysia.” Bronya said, picking up a Homu doll from the sofa and hugging it.

“That’s true, but I can get scared too.” Elysia said, looking at her hands.

“Fu Hua’s training is truly terrifying.” Elysia squeezed her fists, finding she still couldn’t exert much strength.

“Elysia, Fu Hua Class Monitor should customize the training according to your data, right?” Bronya reached out and squeezed Elysia’s wrist.

Elysia’s brows immediately furrowed.

It didn’t hurt, but it was so sore.

Only after Bronya released her hand did Elysia let out a sigh of relief.

“Today wasn’t physical training. Today, I practiced close combat with Fu Hua.” Elysia sighed as she spoke.

Sparring with Fu Hua was truly demoralizing.

Even though she knew Fu Hua’s situation, no matter how she attacked, it felt like hitting cotton.

“Then Elysia must have been overexerting herself.” Bronya said.

Elysia looked a bit dejected, “Mmm, Elysia did overexert herself, but I really wanted to hit her once!”

Hearing this, Bronya stopped looking at Elysia.

Because Fu Hua Class Monitor would definitely hold back, and judging by Elysia sleeping at home, Fu Hua Class Monitor must have already helped relieve Elysia’s physical fatigue.

Otherwise, Elysia might still be lying down right now, unable to even sit up.

She laboriously took out her phone and checked the time.

“Eh! Have I really been asleep for so long?” Elysia looked at the time on her phone in surprise.

In other words, she had slept from after lunch until dinner time?

“Elysia, when did you start resting?” Bronya asked curiously.

“Elysia has been lying here since after lunch.” Elysia touched her forehead.

Hearing Elysia’s words, Bronya’s eyes widened as she stared at Elysia.

In other words, their Fu Hua Class Monitor had exhausted Elysia like this in just one morning?

And their Fu Hua Class Monitor had still attended her training class normally in the afternoon?

“What’s wrong? Is there a problem?” Elysia looked at the stunned Bronya.

“Elysia, Fu Hua Class Monitor attended her training class normally in the afternoon.” After Bronya said this, she stopped looking at Elysia.

“Fu Hua… she attended… her training class normally in the afternoon?!” Elysia suddenly felt completely drained.

In other words, was a morning’s training just child’s play for Fu Hua, or was sparring with her just a warm-up?
