Reborn in the 90s with a Space: Winning Back My Husband

Shen Nian shook her head at Lu Xinyue, stopping the words she was about to say.

She then turned to look at Zhuo Jiayin, whose face was filled with guilt. It was because she had concealed the truth from Shen Nian.

’After all, she’s a future partner. I have to know what kind of person she is!’ In truth, Shen Nian was intentionally testing Zhuo Jiayin.

’But for Lu Xinyue to risk my anger to plead on her behalf... it seems the bond between these two girls is genuinely strong.’

Shen Nian was happy for Lu Xinyue, seeing she had such a good friend.

”Don’t cry! I said I didn’t want to sell the designs, but I never said I wouldn’t partner with your family!”

Seeing Zhuo Jiayin’s expression, Shen Nian worried the girl might actually burst into tears if she didn’t say something soon.

”Huh?”

”Sister-in-law, what do you mean by that?”

Zhuo Jiayin and Lu Xinyue both stared at Shen Nian in astonishment. ’Could there be another way to partner, other than through the designs?’

Shen Nian could read the question on their faces.

”Of course. Here are my terms. I won’t do a one-time sale of my designs. Instead, I’ll use my designs and a future development plan for the factory to take an equity stake in your family’s business. After the factory is restructured, I want a forty-percent share.”

Lu Xinyue glanced back and forth between Shen Nian and Zhuo Jiayin, still a little confused by what Shen Nian had said.

Zhuo Jiayin, however, was different. She had grown up around her family’s factory and already knew a fair bit about business, so she understood Shen Nian’s words almost instantly.

”Sister Nian, a forty-percent stake...”

”You think that’s too much? Rest assured, what I’m offering isn’t just a few design sketches. My designs are more than enough to bring your family’s factory back from the brink. And my offer also includes a plan for the factory’s future direction. Jiayin, you’re a smart girl. Trading a forty-percent stake in a nearly bankrupt factory for a chance to soar to new heights in the future... that shouldn’t be a difficult choice.”

It wasn’t that Shen Nian was being arrogant. The simple truth was that her mind held the fashion trends for the next several decades, countless design concepts, and even the optimal restructuring plan for a clothing company. She was fully capable of achieving everything she had just described.

The idea of building a clothing brand had come from Zhuo Jiayin, which was why Shen Nian was willing to include her in this plan.

’I’ve given her the opportunity. Now it’s up to her to seize it.’

”Sister Nian, I understand what you mean. But this is a huge decision, and I can’t make the final call by myself. I need to go back and discuss it with my parents.”

”Of course. You can take these designs and this simple restructuring proposal back to show your parents. And you should take a look, too, of course.”

As soon as Shen Nian finished speaking, Zhuo Jiayin flipped open the designs and proposal right there. The more she read, the brighter her eyes shone and the more excited her expression became.

”Sister Nian, thank you! With these, I’m positive I can convince my parents to agree to your terms! I’m going home right now. Wait for my good news!”

After saying this, Zhuo Jiayin gathered her things, stood up and gave Shen Nian a deep bow, then turned and hurried away.

It was the first time Lu Xinyue had ever seen her best friend this excited, and it was all because of her sister-in-law.

’Does this mean... the partnership between my sister-in-law and my best friend might actually happen?’

But...

”Sister-in-law, where did those designs and that proposal come from, anyway?”

’How did I not know Shen Nian brought those things with her? And where did they even come from?’
