Get Stronger by Pleasing Pokémon? Who Needs to Be a Trainer!

This time, Lin Feng’s expression was filled with even more surprise.

Especially when he saw the description of Zoroark.

[Description: A Zoroark from the past. It once came into contact with the ripples of time. Under the influence of powerful emotional energy, it traveled into the future and gained the ability to glimpse the future.]

Zoroark...

From the past, capable of glimpsing the future, and connected to the ripples of time?

Three things at once.

Lin Feng was completely bewildered.

His astonished gaze fell upon Qin Shu.

Wait...

Your travels are getting pretty wild.

Last time, you somehow brought Jirachi back to me, and it’s still asleep and hasn’t even awakened yet.

And now you’ve brought me this thing?

He knew about the ripples of time.

They were remnants left behind when Celebi traveled through time. Once Celebi came into contact with them again, they would disappear.

They possessed an incredibly powerful effect.

Anyone who came into contact with the ripples of time could occasionally glimpse fragments of the future.

The movie Zoroark: Master of Illusions had depicted something similar.

Although Lin Feng’s memories of the movie were somewhat blurry now, the Zoroark from that movie had left a particularly deep impression on him.

It had actually been capable of trapping three Legendary Pokémon, Suicune, Entei, and Raikou!

And after seeing this Zoroark’s information, Lin Feng already had a few guesses.

The one who had called him earlier might not have been Qin Shu at all.

It was probably this Zoroark.

Perhaps it had seen something in the future involving him or Qin Shu, which was why it had come before him now.

No wonder...

There had been something strange about that phone call.

Now, looking at the Qin Shu standing in front of him, even though her appearance had changed, she still wore the same silly smile as Dragonite.

Lin Feng finally understood.

Perhaps when she was outside, Qin Shu was considerably more clever and alert.

But whenever she was in front of him, she always smiled like this.

Fortunately, he had suddenly decided to send Dragonite over.

Otherwise, this really could have become troublesome.

An ordinary Pidgeot would have had a hard time dealing with this Zoroark.

Even Pidgeot’s leader probably would not have been able to handle it easily.

Dragonite was different.

Dragonite was already approaching Level 90!

That was a completely different league.

”Tell me what happened while you were out there.”

Lin Feng skillfully ignored what Qin Shu had just said and instead asked about what had happened.

”Well, well, I heard that there was a Zoroark around, so I went to take a look, and then...”

Qin Shu roughly explained everything that had happened in the Land God Mountain Range.

The more Lin Feng listened, the more certain his previous guess became.

”I don’t know what it was trying to do...”

”What a strange Pokémon...”

After finishing, Qin Shu looked at the Zoroark lying nearby, her face filled with indignation.

This Pokémon was seriously strange.

There were so many people who had come looking for it.

Why did it have to specifically target her?

”Uh...”

For a moment, Lin Feng did not know what to say either.

He also had no idea what the real reason was.

But very soon, Qin Shu was distracted by the delicious aroma coming from inside the house.

She blinked and looked toward Lin Feng.

”Forget it, forget it. Let’s eat first~”

”Hehe, it’s dinner time anyway!”

”Can my Pokémon and I join you for a meal?”

”And there’s something else!”

”I caught some new Pokémon too~”

As she spoke, she untied several Poké Balls from her waist.

Ding!

The newly caught Farfetch’d, Gible, and three other Pokémon appeared.

The two new Pokémon were indeed there.

Looking at this, it seemed the scene from the phone call really had happened.

Otherwise, Zoroark could never have recreated everything so perfectly.

Farfetch’d carried its leek on its shoulder.

It looked left.

Then right.

Its entire face was filled with fighting spirit.

Then it noticed Dragonite.

Dragonite was at least seven or eight times its size.

Farfetch’d froze.

The leek it had raised slowly lowered back down.

Hmm...

I’ll pass on challenging this one for now...

Gible was also clearly a newly caught Pokémon.

The moment it appeared, it became extremely alert.

It raised the spikes on its hands and cautiously surveyed its surroundings.

Especially after sensing Dragonite’s presence, it instinctively tried to retreat several steps.

But that movement was immediately stopped.

The two of them were currently standing in the courtyard of the villa.

The Berry orchard was directly behind them.

If Gible retreated into the orchard, it might accidentally damage the Berry trees.

The one who intervened was Gardevoir.

It had naturally sensed Dragonite’s return.

After noticing that Lin Feng had not entered the house for quite some time, it had teleported over to see what was happening.

Gible was suspended in midair.

Slowly, it was lowered back down.

Qin Shu quickly calmed it down.

Lin Feng also turned his attention toward the two Pokémon.

”That’s a little ridiculous...”

After looking at the two Pokémon, Lin Feng could not help thinking this.

He looked at Qin Shu.

A strange thought suddenly appeared in his mind.

Could it be that seemingly silly and absent-minded people received some kind of hidden advantage when they became Trainers?

Both of these Pokémon had Hidden Abilities...

Lin Feng then looked toward her other Pokémon.

Blastoise was now Level 53 to 55.

It had officially reached the threshold of a pseudo-Elite level.

Noivern had also evolved surprisingly early and was now Level 43 to 47.

Its changes were quite astonishing.

Meowscarada was Level 44 to 46.

Heh.

Looking at it this way, perhaps Qin Shu could participate in this year’s Grand Tournament and even achieve a pretty good result.

Seeing that Qin Shu had finally calmed Gible down, Lin Feng nodded.

”All right, all right.”

”Let’s eat.”

The most excited ones were Blastoise and Meowscarada.

”Puff puff~!!”

”Meow meow~!”

These two Pokémon could practically be said to have grown up eating Lin Feng’s cooking.

They could certainly eat outside too.

But outside, all they had were cold Energy Cubes.

How could that compare to a proper hot meal at home?

Meowscarada was especially excited.

Just like Lin Feng’s own Meowscarada, the moment its interaction with Qin Shu ended, it immediately leaped toward Lin Feng’s arms.

But at that very moment...

Another Meowscarada walked out of the house.
