If it had merely been called a mutated berry, that would have been one thing.

But this felt more like… the seed of a mutated berry.

Mutated Pecha Berry Seed

Once planted, the resulting berry tree will continue growing without limit.

To be honest, when Lin Feng read that description, he fell silent for quite a while.

Infinite growth…

Just how massive could it eventually become?

Could it one day surpass even the World Tree?

And what changes would happen to the Pecha Berries it produced?

Could they eventually turn into some kind of immortal peaches?

At the moment, Lin Feng had no idea.

Still, the instant the seed appeared, he planted it immediately. He used the highest-grade golden fertilizer he had and even asked Serperior to personally nurture the seed.

Back to the present.

Lin Feng arranged the food one dish at a time. Once he saw every Pokémon happily digging in, he was just about to sit down himself when Mew suddenly floated over to him.

Then, after rummaging around somewhere unknown, it dragged out an enormous orange-red boulder.

”Huh?”

Lin Feng jumped slightly before looking closer.

It was obviously a Fire Stone.

But what shocked him was not what it was.

It was the size.

The thing was practically as large as an actual rock.

It was nearly three meters long and over two meters wide. Though the surface was somewhat flat, its sheer size meant it probably weighed several hundred pounds.

More importantly, though, was the description attached to it.

SSS-Rank Fire Stone

A stone once used as a resting place by Entei. After absorbing Fire-type energy from magma over countless years, it transformed into a Fire Stone overflowing with immense power.

A Fire Stone…

Honestly, Lin Feng already had one SSS-rank Fire Stone, the reward he received after Blaziken’s affection reached one hundred.

Originally, he had planned to use that one to evolve Growlithe.

And now another one had appeared.

And this one was absurdly huge.

Lin Feng looked utterly confused.

He had no idea where Mew had dug this thing up from.

It was basically the same as Gengar’s shadow storage.

Meanwhile, Mew casually explained that it had picked the stone up long ago somewhere near a volcanic eruption zone. After saying that, it offered no further explanation and cheerfully returned to eating.

Lin Feng could only laugh helplessly as he walked over to it.

”You really don’t have to bring something back every single time you come here to eat.”

”Mew?”

Mew was currently munching on little round cookies together with Victini. Hearing that, it tilted its head innocently.

[Mew…]

(It was too big. I didn’t want to keep it at home anymore. It took up too much space.)

In other words, it thought the thing was useless, so it gave it to him.

Right after that, Mew pulled out its storage sphere and began aggressively stuffing cookies into it from the giant tray in front of them.

Once it packed everything away, it still looked dissatisfied and immediately turned its gaze toward the food in front of the other Pokémon.

Unfortunately for it, the Pokémon sitting nearby happened to be Blaziken.

The moment Blaziken noticed Mew staring at its food, it instantly grabbed its plate and glared at Mew with full vigilance.

Seeing that scene, Lin Feng could not help shaking his head.

The Fire Stone was far too large to fit into a storage sphere, so for now it could only stay where it was.

As for how to use it, that was simple enough.

Lin Feng had no plans to use it on Growlithe. The Fire Stone from the system rewards was already more than enough.

This gigantic one…

Could simply become Blaziken’s bed.

It could even help accelerate its growth.

After deciding that, Lin Feng stopped thinking about it further and instead walked over to Mew and Victini.

”Those dishes are already cooked. If you pack them away, they’ll spoil pretty quickly. Don’t worry about those. These are specially prepared for you two.”

As he spoke, he took out two brand-new storage spheres.

(●’◡’●): ”Mew~”

（＠＾０＾）: ”Vi!”

The two little Pokémon immediately lit up with joy after receiving the new storage spheres.

But when Lin Feng reached out and asked for the old ones back, the two exchanged a glance before instantly shooting into the sky and vanishing.

Leaving Lin Feng standing there in complete confusion.

”Hey! Hey! Bring the old storage spheres back!”

He shouted toward the sky.

But the only response was the empty blue sky and the cheerful laughter of Victini and Mew echoing overhead.

”You little thieves…”

Even as he said it, though, Lin Feng could not stop himself from smiling.

He never asked Victini what kind of dream it had built using that bottle of Dream Water.

Because compared to when it first arrived, Victini now looked far more lively.

And that happiness clearly came from the heart.

Now it even dared to team up with Mew and run off with storage spheres right in front of him.

Still…

They were only storage spheres.

If they liked them, they could take them. Those things were easy enough to buy.

March 7

Weather: Sunny

Lin Feng was checking his recent earnings.

It had been a long time since he last paid attention to how much money he made in a single day.

Ever since the berry fields began producing fruit, the number of Pokéblocks sold by the ranch had steadily increased.

Pidgeot’s delivery business had also expanded from provincial shipping to covering the entire Donghua League.

Of course, long-distance deliveries across the region were expensive, so Lin Feng would only send Pidgeot out for larger orders.

”March 6 revenue: 1,785,000…”

When Lin Feng saw the number, his eyelid twitched.

One million seven hundred eighty-five thousand.

That was only a single day’s income.

And almost all of it was pure profit.

After all, the berries were grown by his own Pokémon, and the products were made by him and his team.

At this rate, he would easily earn tens of millions every month.

Yearly income would reach multiple small financial goals without difficulty.

Most importantly, this was liquid capital he could use freely, not fixed assets.

Lin Feng nodded in satisfaction.

At this point, no matter what kind of Pokémon he obtained in the future, money would never be an issue again.

His mood instantly brightened.

As he walked outside, he even started humming happily.

”Getting rich, getting rich~”

[I should think about how to spend the money. Maybe I should build a proper battle arena. Fighting outdoors all the time really isn’t ideal…]

Muttering to himself, Lin Feng stepped outside.

The ranch was bustling with people today.

Only then did he realize the current breeding house was starting to feel too small.

During busy hours, customers even had to line up outside.

”Then I’ll just build a larger building next door specifically for sales.”

In truth, he did not even need to handle it personally.

All he had to do was call Captain Hoopa, pick a location, choose the building style, and leave the rest to the construction team.

As Lin Feng walked out of the ranch, customers greeted him along the way, and he responded to each one with a smile.

Eventually, he reached the blue stone path.

Looking around at the nearby buildings, he suddenly realized he did not know when the town had become so prosperous.

New houses had appeared everywhere.

Various grocery stores had opened.

Even empty lots that once sat abandoned were now planted with rows of fresh green vegetables.

He continued all the way to the edge of town before finally deciding where the future battle arena should be built.

Right beside the research institute.

Perhaps, in the future, this would become the very first battlefield where new trainers began their journeys.

And just then, a girl walked out from the institute with excitement written all over her face.

Beside her stood a Treecko whose eyes shone with eager anticipation.

Standing across from them was Professor Liang Cai, smiling encouragingly.

Lin Feng recognized the girl immediately.

She was the high school freshman from before, the one who had not received a starter Pokémon.

Heh.

Looks like this really was a good place after all.
