The weather was hot, so the two Pokémon quickly started enjoying the hot pot.

The boiling crimson broth churned as steaming ingredients, soaked in spicy red soup, were placed in front of Salamence. It could not help but raise its brows at the sight.

A red ring had already formed around its mouth.

”Sorry, sorry, I added too much chili.”

Lin Feng quickly took out a few bottles of ice-cold Moomoo Milk, feeling a little embarrassed himself.

He rarely ate spicy food, and naturally his Pokémon followed his habits. They were not used to such an intense burst of heat, so this reaction was expected.

But Salamence was actually enjoying it.

As the food entered its stomach, it could clearly feel its power growing rapidly. At the same time, subtle changes it could not fully understand were taking place inside its body.

So even though it was spicy, it kept eating happily.

In contrast, Dragonite’s way of eating was much gentler.

It sat in front of the clear soup, waited patiently for Lin Feng to cook the food, and feed it over. Then it chewed slowly, calmly, before swallowing.

Both Pokémon ate quickly, whether it was the clear broth or the spicy red one.

Even though they were in miniaturized form, it did not affect their appetites at all.

By around 4 p.m., they finally finished eating, even drinking down the last bit of broth.

At that moment, Lin Feng checked their updated status.

[Pokémon: Dragonite]

Gender: Female

Type: Dragon, Flying

Ability: Multiscale

Potential: Gold

Stats: …

Power: Level 81–82 (rising)

Moves: …

[Pokémon: Salamence]

Gender: Male

Type: Dragon, Flying

Ability: Intimidate

Potential: Gold

Stats: …

Power: Level 84–87 (rising)

Moves: …

Not only had their energy levels increased, but both Pokémon had also reached Gold-tier potential. In addition, their level labels now carried the note ”rising.”

This meant their strength would continue to grow rapidly for some time.

Feeling the surging power within its body, as if a single flap of its wings could change the color of the sky, Salamence could not hide its excitement.

With this kind of strength, even that unique enemy from before would no longer be frightening. Even if dozens of opponents attacked it together, it would not feel fear anymore.

At this moment, it was thrilled beyond words. It could not wait to fly out immediately.

But Lin Feng placed a hand on its head, calming it with his soothing energy.

”I know you are in a hurry, but don’t rush it. Wait until your energy stabilizes.”

”Gra?”

Salamence turned to look at him.

Lin Feng patted its head and glanced toward the sea.

”When things stabilize, we will go find Mewtwo. It will take us there.”

He had once said Salamence could go on its own, but that was never his true intention.

Lin Feng knew very well that if Salamence acted alone, it might easily be captured. After all, its enemies were Team Rocket.

In this world, even with powerful Pokémon, humans still held dominance in many areas of conflict. Not only because of bonds with Pokémon, but also because human technology was frighteningly advanced.

Even Giratina, the ruler of the Distortion World, had once been captured by a device created by obsessed scientists.

”Gra?”

Salamence froze, then looked at Lin Feng in disbelief.

”That’s right. We will go together.”

Lin Feng confirmed it calmly.

(つ﹏⊂)

A small Salamence could not hold back its emotions anymore. Its eyes grew slightly moist. It slowly moved forward and leaned against Lin Feng’s leg.

”Gra gra!” (We will crush them. We will defeat them!)

Nearby, Dragonite also raised its claws energetically, its fighting spirit rising.

Not only Salamence had grown stronger. Dragonite had also experienced a significant boost in power, especially after its past encounter with Team Rocket.

Hearing Lin Feng mention helping them ”get revenge,” it immediately became excited.

Wasn’t the whole point of coming here through Salamence’s persuasion to become stronger and avoid being hunted? But now they were talking about counterattacking instead.

That was even better. And they had their trainer backing them up.

It probably would not need to do much at all. (●ˇ∀ˇ●)

”Alright. You can go test your new abilities in the sea, but don’t cause too much commotion.”

With a wave of his hand, Lin Feng sent the two small dragons flying toward the ocean.

Night soon fell. The moon hung bright in the sky, stars scattered across the heavens.

The two Pokémon did not return until late. From their excited expressions, their tests had likely gone very well.

After dinner, the small Eevee group immediately gathered around.

Lin Feng had told them in the afternoon that they could evolve at night, and they had been waiting the entire day for this moment.

Now that night had finally arrived, they were all eager.

Looking at the blinking Eevee, and the slightly nervous Alolan Ninetales behind them, Lin Feng himself was not entirely certain of the outcome.

But in theory, since Gardevoir had once used Moon energy successfully during the Horizon League, evolution should not be a problem.

Still, he explained everything clearly. Whether they chose to evolve or not would be entirely up to them.

”Eevee, Eevee?” (So… if I don’t evolve into Sylveon, will I become like Abu?)

A9 stood there, lost in thought.

Although Lin Feng had previously explained all Eeveelution paths and their strengths and weaknesses, and although A3 and Awu had both seen their future forms and battle footage…

There was still no information anywhere about Sylveon.

No records at all.

And Lin Feng had once mentioned that Sylveon had the strongest power against Dragon-type Pokémon. That made A9 even more determined.

But now, the others were already ready to evolve together. Delaying any longer would not be good.

Fine. I will gamble on it.

Even if I am wrong, Awu’s dark form is still strong.

A9’s gaze turned firm.

”Eevee, eevee!”

”I will evolve!”
