God-Level Special Forces Soldier

Chapter 356: Chapter 354: Mysterious Blood Clot

Xiao Tian’s dagger rapidly flowed before him, slashing horizontally and chopping vertically. Not only the speed, but the power was also at its peak. Each slash carried the force of a thousand pounds, cutting beasts as if chopping vegetables. The beasts with all their strength couldn’t catch Xiao Tian, within a minute. Several beasts were directly slashed into scars, blood spurting.

Countless wails echoed throughout the forest, then returned to silence.

In the end, the whole forest was left with only a few beast corpses.

After dealing with this group of beasts, Xiao Tian’s expression was not relaxed. The white mist shrouding the forest was so strong, it could completely transform a beast, causing it to mutate and go mad.

From where did this white mist originate? A deep sense of doubt and unease lingered within Xiao Tian’s heart.

---

”He’s leaving!” Seeing Xiao Tian planning to leave, a few of Colin’s underlings who had been bullied by Xiao Tian before began whispering. Many were still feeling hidden pain in their bodies.

One of the lackeys took out a gun and said harshly, ”He just fought fiercely with those beasts, now his body must be very weak! No matter how skilled you are, you fear a knife; now’s a good chance to avenge the brothers!”

”That’s right, boss!” Others advised, ”Boss, now just give him a couple of shots, and finish him off. It’ll count as vengeance for the brothers, today we’ve lost so many people.....”

”Shut up!”

Slap!

Before the lackeys could finish their words, Colin’s face turned red with rage as he turned back and slapped a few of them hard.

The few lackeys covered their cheeks, aggrievedly asking, ”Boss, why did you hit us?”

”A bunch of idiots!” Colin said, his face full of fear, ”Do you know his true identity? Shoot? Do you believe before your bullet is even fired, he could kill us all!”

”What??” The underlings were dumbfounded hearing Colin’s words.

Just then, Colin finally remembered Xiao Tian’s true identity, trembling as he spoke,

”He...is the Huaxia Hunter!”

”Hunter??”

The underlings originally planning a sneak attack instantly lost their flames upon hearing ”Hunter”. Their expressions turned dumbfounded, they were clearly not unfamiliar with that name.

Colin finally remembered Xiao Tian’s true identity! Previously, when he was in a mercenary group in Europe, their entire group was wiped out because of Xiao Tian! Only three or four including him survived in the end! That fear they would never forget in their lifetimes. Although the Hunter wore a mask then, Colin could already recognize him from Xiao Tian’s skills, especially his knife technique.

”Oh?” Xiao Tian turned around, looking at Colin with interest after hearing his words. Unexpectedly recognized.

Xiao Tian glanced at Colin’s few underlings, all of whom he had just dealt with. Suddenly, he understood their intention, and said coldly, ”Seems you’re looking for revenge?”

Plop!

Just as Xiao Tian’s icy voice fell, unexpectedly Colin fell to his knees in fear, his face turning blue. Colin had witnessed the terror of the Hunter firsthand in the mercenary group. Let alone him, even a hundred more wouldn’t be the Hunter’s match, they were on completely different levels!

”Thank the Hunter for his mercy. It’s our ignorance, it’s our ignorance!”

Colin trembled in fear; this was an existence that could destroy an entire heavily armed mercenary group. Compared to that, their small force was insignificant.

”Hunter, from now on, any Huaxia People who come will be treated as honored guests!”

Seeing Colin scared to death, Xiao Tian was somewhat helpless. He’s not a murderer, such small matters Xiao Tian wouldn’t resort to killing, and waved his hand impatiently, ”Go away.”

”Yes, yes... we’re leaving, we’re leaving, hehe...”

Colin then waved his hand and, with his remaining few underlings limping along, they fled without looking back. In the blink of an eye, they disappeared at the forest’s end.

----

Meanwhile, Melinda watching from afar, was a bit surprised seeing Xiao Tian swiftly slaughter so many mutated beasts.

”Hehe, Hunter. Seems he’s stronger than I expected.” Melinda thought.

After Colin and others left, seeing Xiao Tian circling around the beast corpses, Melinda ran over a few steps. She leaned over behind Xiao Tian and asked curiously, ”What are you doing?”

Xiao Tian crouched in front of a mutated leopard’s corpse. He could feel all of this leopard’s strange energy was contracting, slowly gathering over a blood clot about the size of an egg in its chest. Xiao Tian extended his finger, picked up some blood from the clot, and brought it to his lips.

The moment the blood touched his lips, a peculiar energy rushed into Xiao Tian’s body.

Discovering this peculiarity, Xiao Tian quickly took out his dagger, sliced off the small blood clot, and stuffed it into his mouth.

At that moment, Xiao Tian could feel the blood in the clot turning into pure energy. It surged into his body along with his blood, refining it.

The small wound on Xiao Tian’s arm was gradually healing under this flesh energy’s fortification.

Even more surprising to Xiao Tian was the increase in his body’s aura. Though merely a tiny bit, he could accurately sense it.

”Oh my, that’s disgusting!” Melinda naturally couldn’t help gagging seeing Xiao Tian devour the leopard’s blood clot.

What she couldn’t understand was that Xiao Tian seemed to discover a treasure, searching around for these blood clots, enjoying them like a delicacy.

Xiao Tian walked over to Melinda, offering the blood clot in his hand. ”Eat this; it can quickly replenish energy.”

Seeing Melinda hesitating, Xiao Tian continued, ”If you get lost later in this jungle, lacking energy will be dangerous.”

”This...” Melinda felt that Xiao Tian was indeed rational. But looking at the blood clot before her, she didn’t know how to bite in; finally, to replenish energy, Melinda closed her eyes and stuffed the blood clot into her mouth.

”Uh....”

The expected bloody taste didn’t appear. As soon as the blood clot touched her tongue, it transformed into energy and, like a spring, poured into Melinda’s body!

When Melinda sensed the release of her internal special energy, her expression became greatly shocked.

”My Power of Object Control... has... improved?”

Melinda’s Power of Object Control required extremely demanding conditions for training progress. Unexpectedly, a mere blood clot could enhance it, making Melinda extremely excited!

”Let’s go.” Xiao Tian, after replenishing energy, didn’t hesitate anymore and went deeper into the forest.

Melinda slowly followed behind Xiao Tian, feeling somewhat grateful. Unexpectedly, this person was generous enough to share such a good thing with her!

----

Meanwhile, the sky was about to turn dark; the whole forest was already dim. Plus the dense mist, Colin and his group started to panic as they walked.

The few originally followed the path they came, walking for two to three hours, but found no exits!

With the sky turning darker, Colin’s inner fear reached its peak; he didn’t want to spend the night in this damn place! At this point, they were panicking and rushing, running randomly through the forest, unknowingly entering its depths.

”I feel... dizzy....”

Surrounded by white mist, Colin suddenly felt dizzy, rubbing his head. He found his underlings were also feeling woozy.

Eventually, they slowly disappeared into the white mist deep in the forest.

And beyond the mist, a huge ancient structure loomed in sight.
