God-Level Special Forces Soldier

Chapter 299: Chapter 297: Attitudes from All Sides

Dark List Rank Ten, Huaxia Hunter!

This news indeed caused a massive sensation upon release.

Though the Hunter was already renowned in the Dark World, a few years ago, during his activities, his ranking was just in the middle to lower tier of the Dark List. This time, to everyone’s surprise, he shot up directly to the tenth position at the unveiling! This is the first in the entire history of the Dark List!

You should know that the rankings on the Dark List rarely change. At most, they rise or drop by one rank, but for someone like the Hunter to leap from being unranked to the tenth position is truly an exaggeration.

For a while, countless people were shocked and moved because Hunter’s presence had been absent for a long time. People in the Dark World thought the Hunter had already died at someone’s hands, given that anyone who made a name in the Dark World had countless enemies. Even on the Dark List, each year some top-ranked experts are completely removed from the list. Most of those removed have already disappeared completely from the world.

Just a few days ago, the ”Japan Incident” that shook the entire global Dark Realm occurred, where the Huaxia Hunter caused great waves in Japan, facing a nation’s army and missile weaponry, destroyed the Shinto Shrine, killed numerous Japanese, and finally retreated unscathed. It wasn’t long after this incident that the Hunter returned to the Dark List ranked tenth, which naturally caused an uproar.

However, some people still doubted the true strength of the Hunter. After all, the personalities ranked in the top ten of the Dark List are all at monstrous levels, genuine killing machines. Each of them has an illustrious battle legend in the Dark World. In comparison, this Hunter, who jumped from wandering around more than 50th on the Dark List to tenth, seemed unconvincing and hard to believe.

Rumors spread, with many believing that the ranker of the Dark List, ”Wiki,” was already in decline, losing its control over the intelligence in the Dark World.

However, regardless of anything, the Hunter who had disappeared for so long stole the limelight this time.

In Huaxia’s East Military Region. Commander Zhu Hu was sipping tea and formulating recent exercise plans. The teacup was steaming on the table, and the room was very quiet.

Actually, Zhu Hu was troubled recently with one thing: special forces are the most elite force in a military region, akin to a curved blade, stabbing straight into the enemy’s heart. They are the most crucial segment for every military region; if a region’s special forces win numerous honors, the entire region benefits, receiving direct commendations from the Huaxia leadership. Standing out among other military regions, the training of special forces up to today has become a platform for competition and showcase among major military regions.

But Zhu Hu has been searching for a suitable person to help train his special forces. He has high standards, and well-known instructors domestically and abroad have already been recruited by other regions; those remaining do not meet his expectations. It’s indeed a sore point for Zhu Hu that a prestigious military region’s special forces lack a chief instructor.

Just then, someone suddenly knocked on the door. ”Chief, it’s me.”

The speaker was Li Heng, Zhu Hu’s adjutant. Hearing Li Heng’s voice, Zhu Hu didn’t even lift his head, ”Come in.”

”Chief, take a look at this year’s Dark List.” Li Heng presented a list just received through internal channels, respectfully placing it in front of Zhu Hu.

The Dark List has existed for years, watched by the world. Therefore, each unveiling draws close attention from the Huaxia military.

Some individuals on the Dark List are even targets Huaxia is tracking. However, those who can appear on the Dark List are by no means ordinary; it’s challenging for the Huaxia side to trace their whereabouts.

Zhu Hu took the Dark List, his eyes sweeping over one name after another. Among them were names of infamous killers globally, most known by their codenames, such as ”Cold Blade” and ”Crow.”

Zhu Hu’s gaze slowly swept over, but when he saw the words ”Hunter,” he was utterly stunned.

He quickly rubbed his eyes, staring intently at the words, afraid he had read it wrong.

Rank Ten! Hunter!

Zhu Hu’s mind began to roar. He naturally knew Hunter’s true identity. It’s none other than the former Ministry of State Security chief, Xiao Tian.

Zhu Hu and Xiao Tian were quite familiar, having worked together for a while. Recently, Xiao Tian had created a great stir returning from Japan, and one wave had yet to settle while another arose! This time, the shock was even greater....

Zhu Hu’s body trembled, feeling both excitement and pride.

The Dark List, as the name implies, is a ranking not recognized on the surface, but acknowledged by the global Dark World Dark Forces. Here, your certificates and honors don’t matter; it’s your destructiveness and ruthlessness! Every person on the list is a terrifying entity of cataclysmic level, and being able to stand among the top is an immense honor for both individuals and groups.

”If I’m not wrong, this is the first time a Huaxia person has entered the top ten of the Dark List, right?”

Li Heng nodded excitedly, ”Yes, Hunter really brought glory to Huaxia this time! I’m thinking, should the chief call and congratulate him?”

Zhu Hu thought for a moment; his expression changed immediately, waving hurriedly.

”With this list out, those old guys from the other military regions probably can’t sit still. This time we absolutely can’t let them steal a march. Go get the car; I want to visit Xiao Tian in person!”

”Yes!”

However, Zhu Hu didn’t know. Not long after the Dark List’s unveiling, upon learning of Hunter’s (Xiao Tian’s) ranking, numerous military region leaders headed to Shanghai of their own accord. Their purpose was strikingly unanimous.

Which was to invite this Hunter to become their special forces instructor!

Shanghai, a certain luxury club.

Gong Xingteng, along with several young tycoons of Shanghai coming to please him, were gathered here, indulging in revelry. Countless enchanting women accompanied them, flirting coquettishly.

A group sat before a table, beginning discussions on the topic of this Dark List.

”The family just called. This time’s Dark List unveiling, the Hunter actually ranked tenth, truly unbelievable!” exclaimed a young entrepreneur from Shanghai sitting next to Gong Xingteng, with a tone filled with admiration and fervor.

”Currently, this Hunter is famous around the world; many of my friends in the underworld have become his fans, you wouldn’t believe how exaggerated this is....”

”You guys don’t know, right? This Hunter is the eldest young master of the Zhong Family, causing a stir in the capital recently! The Zhong Family has always kept a low profile, but recently they’ve started making repeated moves, evidently ready to soar high... With the Hunter coming from the Zhong Family, this is truly remarkable now!”

Hearing the group endlessly discussing the eldest young master of the Zhong Family, and thinking about how this young master has really stolen the spotlight, becoming known to everyone in Shanghai City, Gong Xingteng felt a tinge of jealousy internally.

”Hmph, I see nothing special, just a martial man! Without backing, he can’t achieve anything significant.” Gong Xingteng sneered disdainfully, but his tone carried a hint of sourness.
